Greetings all.I have been running the 737NG for quite a long time. My FS2004 went kaput until I just recently found there was a patch to fix my issues. Now with FS2004 finally running i was able to run the 737NG in my FS2004. Ran great, so i decided to install my 800/900 (I hadnt used it yet since it only runs in 2004 and I was limited to 2002)I start the aircraft and, while there are engines running there are no guages. Nothing. All black. As if a cold and dark cockpit.I decided to run through my checklists, thinking this was something PMDG did on purpose was a semi cold and dark. Nada. So i exit FS2004 and reload, this time loading one of my trusty 700's. Now IT …

I found it.Please ignore any other message that may appear here. I poked around within the PMDG Web site and found what I believe to be the correct Service update for the Beech 1900D(I had posted before that I could not find the new upload.)Thank you,

First of all I can't wait for the 747, I am sure it is going to be great. Anyways the reason I am posting i s that I know the best aircraft painters in the flight sim community frequent this forum. I know other people have asked before but I was wondering if someone could do a Polynesian Airlines 737-800W? Or if there is one could one of you tell me where it is. Anyways hope all are having a great Holiday. Thanks Tony Slattery

hi there. autofeather - i'm pretty sure they light up when the autofeather is armed and the props are above a certain rpm, not sure which though.ice light - this would be the wing inspection light. it lights up the leading edges of the wings so the pilots can see if there is any ice building up on the wings at night. i seem to remember that if you turn it on, you can actually see the wings light up (in fs)hope that helps!kim steingass

First of I wish everyone a very merry Christmas and may you all get the add-ons and payware you ask for..especially the new 747, hope it is soon.I have seem a few posts about the inablity to slow to IAS after a desent. While studing my "FMC User's Guide" by Bill Bulfer I saw he addressed this problem. He states that the 737 does not slow very well and that it requires 1 nm to slow 10 knots. He sets his T/D the required nm before the normal desent path to allow slowing. So if you will need to slow 40 knots to reach that IAS restriction start your desent 4 nm early. I hope this helpsRay

Hello,As you can see at the pic. it says "MAX. IAS 154KTs with a bank angle of atleast 25 degrees, after passing INN NDB MAX. IAS 250KTs until 11000.But does that mean I have to maintain 154 KTs up to INN NDB???It doesn't seems to be logical, because I have to pass INN NDB at or above 9400. So, basicaly I have to keep the flaps extended up to about 9400 feet.Do I understand this correct?? :(And Should I use MAX. RATE or MAX. ANGLE of climb????Thanks,http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/100948.jpg

Firstly, Merry Xmax everyone ! Here comes my problem, my plane does not start to descend after pass the T/D point, it still maintain the cruise alt and follows the waypoints. The status is LNAV and VNAV on, FMC setup for descend already done, ALT displays the cruise alt. One thing I know is to reset the alt at least 5 NM before the T/D point, but what new alt should I reset to? Do I need to keep changing the alt during descend untill catch an ILS? cheers Darren

Suppose it's late now, but any chance of seeing this? :Dhttp://www.boeing.com/news/releases/2004/p...pr_041220g.htmlSEATTLE, Wash., Dec. 20, 2004 -- Boeing [NYSE:BA] employees recently shipped components that a supplier partner in China will use to convert the prototype Boeing 747-400 Special Freighter. Here, employees remove air from packaging material to create a watertight liner for a crate that houses floor beams. Launched in January with an order from Cathay Pacific, the Special Freighter program transforms 747-400 passenger planes into freighters. In addition to Cathay Pacific, Japan Airlines International Co., Ltd, Korean Air, Nippon Cargo Airlines and Guggenheim A…

If a waypoint in my flight plan IS in the FMC database, but NOT in FS2004, will I be able to fly the route using LNAV? For example, VORs BCN and PRA(Barcelona) are part of the latest AIRAC cycle(0412), but are not in FS2004(which has the decommissioned VOR QUV). I suspect that the NG has no need to reference the FS2004 navaids, since it already knows the Lat-Lon coordinates from its internal database. However, I am also aware that the FMC autotunes the nav beacons as it navigates the route, so am not sure what it might do for a non-existent VOR!(and what about the morse code sounds which are used for identification purposes?).Thanks,FrankPS Yes, I know there is a way of v…

Over a number of months now I have found that the 737-700 and 737-800 have a tendency to level out early incurring the wrath of ATC. The only way to get them to continue climb is by manually setting a rate of climb Vert Speed in the autopilot.Invariably this premature levelling occurs around FL270 - FL310. Weight is not an issue. I have used both Vnav and the other Lvl Chg options with no success.Andy suggestions?Andy b

hello guys i noticed that fully loaded the 738s and especialy the 900s dont get very high in terms of altitude after a long flight. When I say fully loaded I mean a full load of pax plus a moderate amount of baggage weights calculated from a standard baggage weight based on a real world airline. In otherwords, I calculate(based on a real world airline requirement for their 738s)2 bags per passenger at 70lbs = 140lbsmultiplied by the total # of passengers on the 738sand I load that number in to the loadmanger. but the crafts, through the FMC, wont allow me past the upper flight levels, 360 and up by the end of the flt.My last flight on a real world 738, we when up to …

Hi, everyone: I bought PMDG 737 800/900 and FSNAV 4.6 just one week ago, and now I am getting crazy to creat a complete flight plan in FMC just for a very short trip. Can someone please please show me a complete example with steps of how to creat a complete flight plan in FMC between 2 airports, including SID/STAR connection with route. I know there r some data need to be put in to ROUTE page (VIA TO), and I can get airways code and VOR,NDB ID from FSNAV, get SID/STAR from DEP/ARR page, but where to put them? how? How about more flexable flight plan? what else ID CODE do I need to know? intersections? PLEASE HELP ME, THANKS ALOT.
