Hi GentsI am still completly happy with this beautiful Bobby and love to fly it. There is only one thing that I miss. Although they work quite clean toaday I like it a lot if you can "see" the engines work .i.e. if they "smoke" a little bit, therefore my question is:Is there anybody who knows how to make the enginges of the PMDG737NG smoke??I do not mean vapour trails, I mean the dirty stuff ;-)

HelloFirst I just wanted to say that I am amazed by the B737NG product. I recently have transitioned to the real B737-800 series aircraft and downloaded the product to help with my training. I can honestly say that I am in total amazement as to the detail and accuracy of the -800 right down to the noisy cockpit... my kudos to PMDG.My question is in regards to in-flight re-routes using the RTE page. As I remember it is possible to use the RTE page for large re-routes via airways. In training most of our re-routes were small and could be dealt with via the LEGS page. Hi all,I'm experiencing some problems with the LNAV, the aircraft doesn't know where to fly to if I set up a hold or an offset. It just flies right, left and then back right etc... The airaft doesn't follow the path dispayed on the ND. When I set up an offset it's just the same problem...Can anyone solve my problem?Thanks in advanceWouter Sas

Hi all,When installing the above per the PMDG737 installation notes. I inadvertently allowed it to be installed into the defaut directory that appeared (FS9) on the screen instead of the specified FS/FMCWP/NAVDATA directory that I was to create first.Any ideas on how to deal with this? I.e., remove whatever went into the FS9 directory and start over again to put the files in the correct folder?TIA for any help...Woody

Hello All -Just wanted to make sure I'm not going crazy :-) , does the autopilot disengage on final due to tough Windshears?I was also curious if it would disconnect due to a potential traffic collision from the TCAS. I was on final into KRDU yesterday and winds were nasty, so I couldn't tell if it was windshear, but the autopilot disconnected and my pax went for a roller coaster ride ;-)Thanks!

I notice that when I load the 737-800 after installing the Navigation Databse (0412) that FS9 is compiling 25,000 runways before startup. Naturally I don't need anywhere near that many since I'm flying in the U.S. and occasionally in the Caribbean. Is there any way to pare this down since I imagine it's using a lot of resources to load? Thanks!

I recently registered the newest version of FSUIPC and the second I did that, my PMDG FMC nor my Main Panel has power. I have tried starting with different aircraft and then switching to the PMDG but to no avail. I received an e-mail back from PMDG and they said they knew there was a problem with the newest version. I do know that the PMDG does work with the unregistered FSUIPC but it will not work once it's registered. Since this aircraft is my absolute favorite, I think I want to uninstall FSUIPC and then reinstall the unregistered version. Hi guys,I followed the golden path and purchased the 800/900 addon.What can I say. EXCELLENT:-) It's even updated the 600/700.One question though if I may. Reading through the manual indicates that TCAS can be tested when you move the switch to test mode.I've tried moving the switch to the "test" position but it won't get that far. It will only go as far as the 'Stby'position.Any advise on this? I was in the 737-700 aircraft when attempting to check it.

I'm testing in these days may 737-700 virtual cockpit, but i'm unable to mouse switch overhead panel. Is it normal. Is it the same with the 737-800? Will the coming 747 have overhead panel complete functioning in virtual cockpit?Thanks

Hi All,1) Where would i find Tim Metzingers tutorial for the 737-600/700, i have tried avsim but it shows no results. I type in Tim Metzinger but no joy.2) I have downloaded & installed a file from avsim which sopposed to give some wing views. but having installed the file, i can't seem to get any wing views. Do i need active camera for this?Cheersmike.

DavidI have a problem and I cant fix it. The ground for some reason flashes black and the flashes back to normal texture every minute or so and I just dont no why. Please some one help :) thanksDavid S

Hi,I have (since I made my computer new and bought a new TFT screen) a problem with my PMDG that makes it impossible to fly the PMDG.First of all: When I select the PMDG in the start window of the flight simulator, it takes now 2-3 minutes until the AIRAC file starts loading. When I am flying it takes now some time until the side windows are loaded. When I attempt to see the ouside view, it takes minutes until the aircraft is loaded. A minute is okay but when I fly online at IVAO it might be a bigger problem, if the PMDG is loading longer than a minute (the PMDG is suddently doing this). I have to add, that the computer isn't really crashing. It is doing "nothing" so that…

Hello together,i am trying to use my three throttles from the CH Flight Sim Yoke for the two Engines and Reverser.I use the left throttle for Eng 1 and the right throttle for Eng 2.Did anybody know how i can configure the middle-throttle (orig, for Prob) to work for the reversethrust of the PMDG737And please excuse my terrible english. Hi all,Apologies if this has already been answered, but I am looking to build a basic cockpit using GoFlight modules.Does PMDG work with the modules no problem?? First of all, thanks to PMDG for the great 737 birds. They are wonderful!! I'm looking forward to the 747.I'm not flying online and have problems with the ATC. I want it to cooperate with my planned route. Is it possible at all? I have read about FSBuild and FSNav. Is one of them the solution? (You don't need to tell me advantages and disadvantages about them, I have read another thread about them). I am still, after many years, working my way towards flying the 737.I am almost there but I seem to be always at least 3000ft to high on approach. I set my QNH accordingly but is there something I am missing?Help AppreciatedPaul

I recently bought the B1900 and I am generally satisfied: I got what was promised. The only thing I dislike is the external sound when in the air cruising. I use Active Camera and the sound at Fly By reminds me of the early Formula 1 racing sounds on a Commodore 64. Ugly.I searched through the sound map of the B1900 and could not find a wav file that sounded like that. So is something else wrong then? Any ideas?Herrie

Hi I have your boeing aircraft as well as the beechcraft. The problem I'm having is that during flight my electrics die on the beecgcraft. All the panels go blank and atc contact is lost. I have the latest version of FSUIPC un-registered. Does ne1 know how to resolve this?Thanks

I have installed a PDMG 737NG and in 2D cockpit the engines' sound is very disturbated (I listen very rastiling). If I look on the right window or on the left window the engines' sound is good.What's happen and how can I solve this problem?Thanks in advanceDonato Genovese

Hi,I came accross an interesting discussion the other day about Fail operational-system and Fail passive-system on the 737NG. This gave me the idea to try to build a short manual with a couple of guided flights for those interested to practice system failures situations. However before I can finalize the manuals I need someone (Randy are you there?) to enlighten me about a couple of things available (or not) on the PMDG.
