When ever a load the 737NG I now get blank flight displays! I open the overhead and the Battery switch is off! Turning it back on gives me no power. I can't start the APU ether! I used the un installed and re installed the 737 but still have the same issue! I'm no newbie to the 737NG and have done hundreds of cold & dark start ups in the PMDG737. Its got me dumfounded why this is happening and a reinstall did not fix it!Any advice?

Hi,Can anyone provide me any tips for loading the 737 properly. In the FMC my CG is always in the 20% range, and I get a severe (10 degrees) nose up attitude on final approach. I usually load full pax - 6, and one full box for the fwd. cargo hold and two full boxes in the aft. cargo hold. What kind of CG should I have? In the 50% range? Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.BTW: A few weeks ago I posted a question about my PPL checkride and never followed up with the result, long story short, I did get my license, and will get a complex endorsement later this week.Thanks,Jeff USAF

Hallo, Is there a way to switch the TCAS on (b737-800/900)By downloading the B737-800/900 I discovered to have a different panel for all the B737's (600/700)as well.I prefered the previous panels from the 600/700 series. How do I restore these panels?By the way; I am looking forward to the release of the MD11; I once had the opportunity to sit in the captains chair for a while on a flight from Amsterdam to Montreal, great experience, Best whishes for the coming year, Gerrit.

Hello,I had a question about compatability with PMDG and another product called FSCOM. I was wondering if they work well together before I purchase FSCOM. I also might as well ask if FSCOM is worth buying? Hi folks,have not flown the PMDGs for a while and when I returned to it yesterday I discovered that in all the versions (600-900) I see no moving parts on the throttle (pedestal) panel ie. no moving fuel cut-off switches, no moving trim indicator, no moving flap indicators etc.I am running ver 1.3.Have not made any changes to the panel.cfg files except added additional wing views to my 2D panel.cfg (and this works just fine with all FS2004 aircraft).Obviously I could do a reinstall, but I thought I should ask here for a less labour-intensive solution :-)Thanks

During a takeoff from Heathrow today, I had the HDG selected to the rwy QDM, A/T and F/D armed, takeoff power set using the TOGA switch. All was fine climbing at V2 + 10 until 1000' when I selected HDG then A/P A (CMD A). HDG captured nicely holding the rwy hdg and the SPEED switch lit up on the MSP with V2+20 selected as the required speed. The problem was the aircraft slowly pitched up to 20 degs and the speed dropped until the stall indication came on - what happened ??? Why didn't the A/P maintain the selected speed with the A/T on and SPD light illuminated on the SPD switch.Glen Coyne

There is no way to set autotrottel on the 800/900...it just wont settryed every thing (including reading the manual up and down)this problem did become bigger in resent time, last 3 months...PLEASE!! HELP!!

Greetings to the PMDG community....I keep having a problem with the Korry3 KLGA STAR procedure. The problem is that few if any of the crossing altitudes are remotely correct in the onboard FMC. For instance, the BEUTY waypoint is supposed to be crossed at 10000ft/250 kts. When I review the LEGS page of the STAR, BEUTY is consistently reported to be crossed A8000 instead of 10000 ft. The same goes for most of the other altitude crossing points for this STAR. I have updated all the AIRAC files and other NAV files yet this continues. I even reviewed the latest AIRAC file folder for KLGA and sure enough, BEUTY was listed as to be crossed at 10000 feet. So obviously the proble…

Infrequently, but more frequently than I would like, I am presented with a problem the correction of which I can find only one solution.The problem occurs after engine start and brakes off. As I advance the throttles to taxi the gauge rises from 20+ to about 23 then the arcs on the gauge wildly oscillate back and forth but will not advance beyond 23. Naturally the aircraft remains stationery. I have tried fremoving and reinstalling the contrioller and recalibrating but to no avail. The only option left is to abandon the flight by exiting and then restarting FS.Upon restart everything is operational and the gauge advances normally.The problem is from a cold and dark start …

I have made some changes in the panel.CFG file, so that it is possible to have wing view and engine view by pressing numpad 4/1 and 6/3 or by using the HAT switch. This is probably the only problem ive ever had with the PMDG panel. Whenever I fly the MITTS2 (in the past the CIVET4 and MITTS1 arrivals as well) into LAX in VNAV mode, the plane reaches the CIVET altitude restriction correctly which is below 17,000, above 14,000. After this, the next fix is either BREMR or SNRKL with a crossing restriction of 12,000, and the plane then pitches up to a -500 fpm rate of descent and never makes the 12,000 feet crossing restriction. I have tried setting the CIVET crossing restriction to just 17,000, just 14,000, 16,000, and 15,000 and I still get the same results. What frame rate difference would be in PMDG VC and PMDG VC + Cabin on this computer?P4 2.81024 RAMRadeon 9600 ProWould it be a big (4-5 frames) performance loss to fly in VC+Cabin cockpit instead of only VC?

Greetings to you all..I have a huge problem, which i hope somone here can help me with. I don't have any sound at all in my NG's. This goes for all series both before and with the 800/900 upgrade. Can anyone help me I have tried to load this onto my fs2004 but it comes up with-: is not compatible with version FSUPC it is build 9.01.40901 you need the corect version of FS 2004 check the help-about: the build should be 9.00.30612 FSCUIP will terminate when you select. I found the FSUIPC .dll but I think I have to remove the old file first .As I am new to this so I am not sure how to go about it.Hope someone can help.

After the 737 boots up, the autothrottle switch will not stay engaged. Neither restarting fs9 or computer will help. It has gotten worse over time. Now they don't work at all. I've re-installed the pmdg once already and no help.....???

Considering the new 737-800/900 PMDG/Aerosoft CD coming in January. Wondering if the panel has a completely separate 2D view set along with the virtual cockpit, a lot of vendors are using virtual instead of 2D graphics now days.Btw...this information is not on your websiteD. Enault

I've done a search on autobrakes and came up with 'Mat's' wonderful mathematical formulation of data addressing this issue but I still cannot get my 'autobrakes' to performed when armed to max on approach. The spoiler activates along with thrustreversers but I can still go off the end of an 11,000 ft runway with the latest versions of the 800/900. The aircraft in question is lightly loaded and is the 737-700 with the 800/900 download.I'm I doing something wrong...

Though I like doing actual flights, I also enjoy to repeated hand flown touch and go's. I set up the ILS in the FMC for the initial approach, but subsequent approaches to not provide me with my radio-alitimeter call out. Its fine for the first few, but after a while the altimeter settings change and my altimeter is off a bit. I'd be ok with the small descrepanies on my altimeter if I could monitor them, but I cant for the life of me figure out how to monitor both Comm1 and Comm2 so I could have the ATIS going in the background without missing my Tower call.
