Hi i got the 737 NG package about 5 days ago and ive been reading the tuorials that came with it and i was wonder 1 thing.... i want to fly with FS9 ATC...... but cause there is no GPS when i do a route in FS( Route Generator i have no idea where im going now is there a tutorial on how yo use FS9 ATC and planner with the aircraft or a GPS you can add to the AircraftThanks Rich Bayes

everytime i switch from FS9 to Windows and back all the 2D views of the flightdeck is squeezed to 50% !? Changing to windowed mode and back to fullscreen resolves this issue.I already changed the graphic card driver - anybody experiencing the same ??quo vadis simmer - Kurt

heloa little problem of course i use 737PMDG and i use the updates (airac and sid and stars) I have a pb with VOR la tour du pin :: It was TDP and now it is LTP on the fmc i have the new name but on the map of the 737 where i follow the flight i have old name and old frequencie why and what i have to do ?thanks

Soo.. I was a little bored on a longer 737 flight and decided to start playing with the air conditioning. Turns out that I ended up freezing the passengers (temp went off the scale in the negative range) and then when I tried to thaw them out... their blood was boiling as the thermometer went off the other side of the scale. Yes, I had the selector on pax cabin.Using the manual climate controls can a pilot really blast the inside temps to such extremes? I don't know how the controls or packs work, but... if PMDG would be interested in a little HVAC help, I can provide the correct equations to simulate cabin temperature if the flow rates are known. On some of my planes they have it set up so you use Shift+E to open the main door and Shift+A to open the cargo doors, but on the PMDG planes it is set up so I have to hit Shift+E+2 to open the main doors and the cargo doors.I would like to use Shift+E to open the main door and Shift+A to open the cargo doors on my PMDG planes. How do I change it so it works like that? Do I have to change something in the cfg file?Joseph Feleppa

Will the FMC not work properly if not updated, the reason i ask is because i usually do and nothing ever seems to change for me that is, from the airports i fly so just how important is this (every month anyway)? P.s. Sorry if you find its a dumb question but i really want to know!

For those of you that want a Alaska Airlines 737-700Wl I have a solution for you. I downloaded the 737-800WL Alaska Airlines off of Avsim. Took the Alaska textures from the regular 737-700 folder and put them into the 737-700WL folder. Then I went into the 737-800WL texture folder that I downloaded off of avsim took the PMDG_Wing_T and the PMDG_WingL_T and put them into the 737-700WL folder where my Alaska Airlines textures are and replaced them then added this to my Aircraft CFG and I had my airplane. Hy all,Now I will get crazy!!!! I was flying online with IVAp with the PMDG 737-600! Ivap didn't feed the fightsim weather, It was real weather downloaded by flightsim 2004. Now, during the trip above Hungary, Bulgary...somewhere there the wind started to change first I had tailwind, suddenly headwind and I had overspeed ofcourse...and this during half an hour when suddenly I got the message crash, aircraft overstressed!!!!!! That time I would throw my computer out of the window :-D! Now, I know I could prevent this by setting the overtress crashing off in realism...but It isn't very realistic that the wind changes so fast 180

Good morning everyone.I have treat myself to a brand new PC which is a real power machine.Up until recently I was using FS2002 and thought, now I've got my new PC lets get FS2004.I always flew the 767PIC on FS2002 and didn't really rate the PMDG 737NG on FS2002.But now, its a different story. I fly using the virtual cockpit with AI Aircraft and great scenery and it beats the pants off 767PIC in my opinion.So the natural thing was to download and buy the 800/900 package, and to my suprise, it gets better. TCAS lower EICAS screens and great looking models. Brill stuff PMDG!!! Keep up the great work!!I can't wait for the 747. I know the answer will be no, but is there a…

HiOn a recent 737-700 flight to olso gardemoen (engm) i was instructed to by atc to descend to FL5000 with QFE 26.61. This i did but unfortunately, the lowest value i seemed to be able to enter was 28.00. This meant that i constantly being told by atc to expodite my climb to 5000ft.Looking at the charts, engm is at an altitude of 675ft, hence, i set a FL5700 and all was well.However, this leads me to my question regarding the fact that i couldn't set a barometric pressure of 26.61. I usually fly with metric pressure and i believe that 26.61 converts to approx 901mbar which is VERY low. Can anyone confirm that the lowest value i can enter is 28.00 (941mbar) ?Many thanksGar…

Hi chapsHaving flown the 600-900 models of the 737, of late i can no longer engage the autothrottle swith. It will push down then flicks off again!After posting on another site, i was instructed to make sure the generators are engaged in the overhead. I am a little unsure (still getting my head around it all actually) of what generator switches are being refered too. Si anyway i tried. Nothing.After reading the part of the op-erating manual, i read with worry "if you disconnect the IDG (in the generators panel overhead)it cannot be reset in the sim"! Have i messsed up my 737's completely by accidentally doing this? Is this the cause of my autothrottle woes?Any help from …

I guess that this question maybe should be posted in other than the PMDG forum, but I like this forum.:-hah Let's say that the transition is at 5000 feet. ATC tells me to climb/descend to 5000 feet/FL50. When levelling at that altitude, should I change the barometric setting already or should I change it when I get clearance to the next altitude?BTW, FS9 ATC doesn't know the answer, as on my last flight after levelling at transition level ATC kept compaining that I was too high, then too low, then too high...and I kept switching between STD and QNH...:-eek CheersThomas

Hi All,I am trying to write procedure for VABB ILS Rwy 27. The PMDG SID/STAR update does not include ILS for Rwy27. They have it for RWY09.I added new fixes to the VABB.txt file in the SID/STAR folder of PMDG.When I tried adding the fix in the FMC I get the error "NOT IN DATABASE". I have prepared a fictitious missed approach procedure for RWY27. I have attached the VABB file so you can have a look and correct my mistake.Waiting for your response.

I don't know what got bopped to cause this, but all of a sudden I'm getting frame stuttering. I've re-installed the nVidea drivers, and DirectX to no relief. The frame rate pauses about every 15-20 seconds, and then restarts.- eliminated WideFS as a cause- re-installed fresh nVidea DRVS1. haven't re-installed PMDG software2. nor FS93. Hi all,I'm looking for some help. I just got the 737NG as a christmas gift but I am having a frustrating time.For some reason the right engine will not start. I follow the check list and can start the left engine just fine however when I try to start the right engine it does nothing.Has anyone else had this problem?...I would really love to get this figured out because I haven't even managed to get this bird off the ground yet!Thanks.
