so if you have the 600-700 ,i have it , cd version, iam thinking of getting the 800-900, i see the download is big, you have to have the base pack first then download the 800-900 , is the 600-700 the base p ack you have to have, id be grateful if any one can help me, thankyou Marc.

I tried a couple flights in the PMDG 737-700 since receiving my registration code for FS Flightkeeper, and have 1 problem.....When I climb through FL180, I click the button to revert the altimeter to STD, and revert it to actual pressure (and update it) when descending through FL180, precisely as I'm supposed to. However, FSFK keeps dinging me for having an incorrect altimeter setting (8 x 10% penalties) so my pilot rating in my regular logbook is pretty bad.I'm pretty sure it's not changing pressures when I'm below FL180, because I correct the alimeter setting immediately every time FSFK shows the "pressure change" message.Any tips on how to manage the altimeter setting…

Hello,The wind direction and speed in the ND is not always there.Sometime it's there, mostly not.Is that a bug? Or is this because of the WX of FS2004?I use Ivap and am also wondering who is in control of the weather.regardsTeeloo

It is becoming very frustrating and there seems to be no apparent solution to this.Description:Performing all necessary proc from cold&dark, taking off and then after some time the engines shut down. Performing a in flight restart only helps for about 5 minutes or so, then another shut down.Things I have tried:1. Not using the default sit.2. Staring up with Cessna, then switch to PMDG 737-700.3. Hi,I just wanted to know how it is possible to enable the KBD Mode in the FMC via a keyboard shortcut. After the last update from PMDG its now possible to assign shortcuts to the menu keys from the FMC, but i also need an assignment for the KBD Mode, that i can finish my external FMC project. Please, can any programmer of the PMDG help me. There are 2 choices for EFIS display types in the PMDG drop down menu:The first type says: PFD/NDThe second type says: EFIS/MAPWhen selecting BARO on my EFIS display, a green indicator displaying the word "BARO" and the value I dial in appears on my PFD when I select PFD/ND in the styles menuHOWEVER!!!! ---If I once again select BARO on my EFIS display, the same green indicator displaying the word "BARO" and the value I dial in DOES NOT appear if I select EFIS/MAP in the afore mentioned stlyes menu.Is this a bug? First i would like to say greetings to all of you since this is my first post.I would like to make a Pantjob of Jat Airways 737,just dont know how?In the FAQ, it tells me to download two files (zip) which contain the 600 and 700 , 737.The files are in tga. and psd. format!Which program do I need so i can paint :) (lame question, but i just dont know)Regards.

Can someone please tell me EXACTLY how and WHEN I am supposed to set the Decision height in the 737. I can't seem to figure out how to rotate the knob. Also, does is show up on the PFD below when I get it dialed in correctly. Also, WHEN do I use radio altimeter, and finally, is the value of the radio altimeter supposed to be the DH minus the TDZE height? Thanks a bunch! Chris Catalano

Hello,What I find slightly disappointing with the PMDG 737 is the spoolup sound on a take-off roll.I have been in a 744 cockpit on take-off a few times (real plane)and what is so very typical on the engine sound on the flightdeck is that there are loud and soft ranges of the engine.On taxi you hardly hear them (apart from a very clear distant high freq whining), but when they spool up it becomes louder.Most significant is on take-off. Especially with a "pre-spool-up", the engines become 'alive' and are very loud on the initial spool-up. ordered 737 twice as a matter of fact because of an error message. linked to the download url to start download process. got a "downloadnow.zip is starting" message. several minutes passed then a message "compressed(zipped)folger is invalid or corrupted" please help. Order #'s 29867 29868 both were tried and both failed.Jim

HiI've just bought the 737ng. and to help me along I downloaded Fred Clausen's Flight tutorial for the 700s .My problem is I can't activate the LNAV and VNAV buttons, if i mayI will quote part of the tutorial At 50ft radar alt retract gear-------------okfollow the pitch and roll bars on your PFD-----okAt 1000ft radar alt engage autopilot--------okPress LNAV and VNAV --------not okThey will not engage ?I have painstakingly followed the tutorial but I must be missingsomething. No, not double written...I was working through all the failures that PMDG737 has build into it, now that I am rather confident that I can fly the 737NG by the basics.But some of the failures do not seems to work.Most of them are 'just' lights going on (glogged fuel filter: bypass light going on)However, the hydraulic failure list, doesn't seem to work.Failing both the eng driven as well as the elec drive hyd pumps of one of both systems or even all systems doesn't give an hydraulic problem.Is this known or a problem on my side only?
