I recently purchased this product and I recommend it to all, but does anyone have an idea how to couple the FMC to the autopilot so that it will follow the flight plan, or am I just doing it wrong, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I am in the process of switching frm 2k2 to FS9. I tried to install the v1.1 UPD to my BE1900 and it tells me I need to install the acft or purchase it. I use non-standard acft folder names and also a non-standard FS9 folder name. My PMDG is installed so how do I work around this problem and get the UPD to unzip?Joe

Hi, I am getting rusty on my SID/STAR writing skills. I am trying to convert the following description into the proper syntax:At or above 535', not later than BGN 3 DME, turn right tracking 290 to intercept BGN R-270 to DEENA, thence...I think I can manage the first part about the altitude restriction, but I am totally lost on the "not later than". Is that even doable with out making a custom waypoint? I have looked through the excellent guide (Kudos, Mr. Yngling), but it illudes me. Hey all. First off I would like to congratulate the PMDG folk for creating the most perfect add-on I've ever seen. I often fly the jumpseat with my uncle who's a boeing captain and I've never felt so close to actually flying a jet as I do with the PMDG 737. As I heard the altitude callouts on my first landing I was suddenly trasnported back to a real Boeing's flight deck. Great job!Now on to the business at hand. Is there a way to get the lower EICAS to display info in the PMDG 737? My screen always seems to stay blank. Is this just not modeled?ThanksChris Catalano

Hi Guys,I have a quick (stupid) question...How do you get the 737's to "suck" the fuel out of the center tank? I tried a flight (PIT-MCO) the other night, and the 739 I was flying would only take the fuel from the wing tanks and I ran out somewhere over no where. So, the question is, how the heck do I get the thing to take the fuel from the center tank?Thanks!Ryan

Hi all,Have now tried a 5 hours and 39 minutes online flight from GCFV-ESSA two days in a row and both flights ended after about 4 hours flying with a nice little crach to the desktop caused by an 'Unknown' module!Can say that I'm all but happy right now... When it happened the first time I thought it was just a 'one-time-only'-thing but appearently not...Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this kind of problem or someone else experienced a similar problem where FS9 all of a sudden goes black and then after a couple of seconds tells you FS9 crached where the module causing the crach is 'Unknown'??Did a search in the forums here at AVSIM and found an old thread her…

HiI recently brought 737NG 800/900 as an add-on to the 600/700. I have been unable to see any TCAS traffic. I get the audio alerts and the self test works fine. I've obtained and installed the latest version of FSUIPC.Can anyone help and tell me what I'm doing wrong.Thanks, Steve

Hi, What is the best way of opening the 737NG third party fuel planner, having loaded FS9 with the appropriate aircraft? At present I open the Fuel Planner and then open FS9. Having entered the relevant information, I then press ALT/Enter and reduce the screen size. This gives me access to the Fuel Planner again. Having transferred the fuel, I then fully open the screen and press ALT/Enter. Trouble is, most times the whole thing freezes up on me and I have to start again. There must be an easier way! Why does a weight correction have to be added to the actual gross weight of the aircraft for a BLEEDS ON takeoff? In the case of the -700 it is +4000 pounds(worst case scenario). Is it that the use of engine bleed air reduces the power available for takeoff?Thanks,Frank

Hi guys,, I have installed today a new SB Live 5.1 Digital sound card. I run MS2004 and planned a flight with PMDG's 737-700. When the scenery loaded i noticed a strange continuous ticking noise that wasn't there before. This noise is gone as soon as i turn of the batteries and comes back as soons as i turn the on again. P.S . I don't head this noise in other FS airplanes. Do you know what can it be? Thank you.

Has anyone else experienced problems lately with the PMDG online ordering system? I tried to order the B1900 on Saturday, submitted all my information but the transaction failed with an unhandled fatal scripting error. I tried to resubmit and it failed again with the same error so I gave up. Then, late on Sunday I received two emails indicating that my credit card had been charged twice for the product even though I had not received it nor been given information on how or where to download it even once.
