There is only one problem I have with this brilliant sim....the trim noise. It appears way too loud compared to the other cockpit sounds and it also continues to run on for a few seconds after the trim switch is released. Before someone comes back and says the noise level and running on is realistic, this may be the case but I find it very irritating every time I trim the airplane. Is there any way I can turn the sound level down or turn it off completely. I have looked in the sound.cfg file and sound folder but can't find it.Many thanksGlen Coyne

Hi,All of a sudden, whenever I load a PMDG a/c no matter if I do it when setting up the flight or if I change to the PMDG a/c after already started up a flight with any of the default FS a/c FS9 crashes with a message stating 'Fatal error' and when I click on the details button to get more info it refers to a module called PMDG_737NG_Main.gau.Any idea on things I could try to fix this kind of problem? Would be very greatful if I don't have to reinstall the whole package.Thanks in advance for any help,

hello guys. i have a P4 1.7 Ghz, 1 GB ram and radeon 9550 256 mb ram and even with this configuration, i get terribnly low frame rate even with medium seetings when i switch to virtual cockpit view with the PMDG736/7. any suggestions to cope with this issue? thanks in advance.

I purchased 737NG about a year ago and just purchased 800/900 a few days ago. I thought I read somewhere that if you purchased 800/900 that you could receive an upgrade for 600/700 that would make the VC totally clickable as it is in the 800/900 product. Was I dreaming this? If not, how/where do I get the upgrade? I tested a 600 after installing 800/900 and it's still the same old non-clickable overhead panel.

Hi All, When I first flew the PMDG -900(Continental livery) a few weeks ago, I was getting a pleasant "cachinck" sounding tone as I achieved each waypoint. Now, however, the sound is missing. Can anyone tell me what I might have done to disable it and how can I get it back? I already have MSFS instrument sounds to max and sound quality is set to medium. After installing all the new updates I have the textures missing on the737-600 engine covers when viewed in 2D wing view.VCCABIN wing view and the outside views are showing the textures OK.Don't have this problem on the other models.I have same problem in other computer.RegardsAlex

I experience a protracted stutter selecting hat switch views in 2D. It occurs only on the 737 and regardless of frame rates (15 to 30 capped). I have no problem with any other aircraft (e.g. PSS Dash 8). I have seached the forum but find nothing on this bit of frustration and would welcome suggestions as to how I might get rid of it.Peter Lowry.

Hello fellow Simmers,I have a number of PMDG's installed and most are fine. however, a couple have these minor texture issues (see JPG)I am wandering can i copy the wheels, flight cockpit from another PMDG 737 and overwirte the textures so they are ok? If so, which textures correspond to the parts shown in the JPG.Help would be appreciated.Thank YouPaul

HelloI have problem with the rigth panel. It shows that I have no fuel and the other instrument on the displsy dosnt work. The engine are running and the plane works, but I can Program the FCM when I have no fuel... I have uninstalled 737NG ,but it dosnt help, It has worked fine in a long time before.Hope for som help...Snorre

Guys,This is more of a 'graphic and video cards for dummies' kinda question since I dont understand cards and drivers very well. The following is my current system spec:Pentium IV CPU 1.90GHz 512 MB of RAM and then I have the Intel 82845G Graphics Controller (whatever that is)...and with all of this I manage to get decent framerates with NG series....But if I were to enhance that and subsequently be ready for the 747 to come out..Do I need to buy a graphics or a video card and what should I buy? PMDG's website states a 32MB Graphics card and 2.5GHz (what do I have to do to get this up from 1.90Ghz).Excuse my ignorance. But I'd like some help here and needless to say, need…

Hi This probably isnt the right forum for this but most of you are nice people who wil reply anyway so.....i got my pmdg and flight sim taken away from me (im only 14) and I haven't been on a flying lesson or to the airport in a while or anything like that. does anyone know something to do around houston that has to do with planes besides plane watchiing at the airport? thanks a lot in advanceTyler

I recently reinstalled FS9 and am in the process of reinstalling a/c and scenery. I kept the original NG600/700 version 1.0 install file (purchased in Nov 2003), the 1.1 Update, and the 1.3 Update file, but I can't find the 1.2 update. It is no longer listed on the PMDG Service Updates page. Hi,I was wondering how to turn manually all the cockpit lighting in all versions of the 737. The only lighting that you can turn on by yourself is the dome light in the 800/900, but the normal lighting seems to go on automatically whenever FS2004 seems to think it's right.Dirk

i was on the tutorial flight, using the fmc....on route i saved the simulation, and when i returned to it and loaded it up again, i had a warning message that said...cg not within tolerance...aircraft unflyable.....does anyone know how to remedy this

I've done what I thought was a decent job of RTFM and searchingthe forums.... I have the 737NG+700/900 package, purchase 29 Oct 04.How do I activate the wipers? Activating the switch does not seem totrigger any activity no matter what view I am in. The plane is recieving power - have tried ground, apu, and main engine in casethat mattered. One is "DVD PAL" and the other is "DVD NTSC"I guess they are two different formats but I'm not sure what PAL or NTSC means. Could you please clarify."Jack

Hey guys,A few hours back I was getting ready to do my daily flight in the 737-800. I selected the plane (Delta this time), the navigational data loaded and I clicked on the Fly Now button.But the progress bar never got beyond the 0% !!! After that FS crashed with a failure to the desktop. I have tried many times after that, with different models and different liveries. No luck!All my other aircraft (default as well as payware) are loading fine.What could possibly the problem? I already am missing my favourite plane, so help please.Thanks.

I recently downloaded and installed des Braben's sound packages for the 737NG. While the sounds are very good I am experiencing problems with a couple of them.1) The flaps.wav seems to loop over and over again, I counted about 6 or seven cycles going from flaps 5 to flaps 10.2) I'm still getting the default autopilot disengage sound (as in fs9soundPMDG737tng).Thanks in anticipation of any suggestions.Pete
