Hi Guys,Below is a picture of a checklist that someone from the PMDG forum created earlier this year. I did many searches for this, but can't find it again. Please help me identify who did this one, and direct me to his site. Thanks in advance!- Johnhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/100453.jpg

Hello, Seems I may be having serious problems with FS or PMDG.I'm new to the PMDG 737 aircraft, but unfortunately I haven't been able to get the aircraft fired up. Fuel fails consistently to be uploaded to the aircraft, and both NAV and ADF knobs don't work/are frozen when I try to turn the dials. I have followed all the procedures regarding uploading the cold and dark flight, etc. to no avail. I have all the latest versions/patches of all aircraft from 500 to 900. My MSFS2004 is up to v9.1 and my FSIUPC is v3.411. My FS9.cfg file is clean as can be with no possible problems there. My machine is up to date with WIN XP SP2 and no problems with cards etc.I have not tried to…

Deal PMDG,I would learn to start 737-800/900 from a so called "cold & dark" cockpit. Can you suggest me a good step by step tutorial? I have the Metzinger V2 tutorial (very well done) but it is not so easy for me to understand the correct sequence to follow.Am I obliged to use the Cessna C172 for the default FS9 flight in order to have the cockpit "cold & dark"? Why can't I use the default 737?Andreahttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg

Hi!Is it possible to check the oxygen-masks on the upcoming queen of the skies?Would be nice, 'cause it's an important item of the cockpit preparation.Walter

Just a note to state that if PMDG is thinking about some extra revenues for the 744, I'll happily pay $10 to $25 extra for a nicely produced, bound operating manual of The Queen when it's launched. I've spent far more than this just printing out the manuals for the NG series alone (prolly cost me $60 to $90 in B&W and color deskjet cartridges).Dunno if this is a minority view, but if you multiply this by, say, 3000 customers prepared to pony up extra for a manual, this might be an attractive proposition.Jonathan

How do I change the runway in the FMS Arrival page so I can use the 'RWY EXT' function to add a 10 mile fix along the runway approach centreline.I recently tried this on the approach to Shannon (EINN) runway 24, but even with 24 as the ACTIVE runway on the FMS page, the runway indicated at LSK5R was 06, there was nothing I could do to change it to 24. I have now mastered most of the FMS but this is still confusing me.I tried uploading a screenshot to show my problem but the software would not allow me to do it ?Glen Coyne

Cheers, got the stairs ok now, but one more thing; is there a 'knack' to selecting exits? I was just using the 737-700NG, and opened the main exit, and also managed to open the very rear exit using the shift+e then pressing 1, but whenever I do it now it only operates the main exit for some reason. Could someone post a simple but detailed way of selecting and then opening an exit, i.e. 1) Hold ####+e down together, 2) Let go of 'e' Or something to that effect, so I know I am getting the processes right. Thanks! Jack.

Is there anything I can do to get my yellow TA alertbox back. I'm not quite sure when or why it left me, it's no big deal to fly without it, because the knob to change the setting works ok. I just don't like when unexplainable things happen. I hope someone maybe know what to do.Ole

Can anyone explain why it is that while there are five hours difference in time between New York and London, there is only four hours difference in ZULU time between them, when ZULU time starts in Greenwich just outside of London. Vernon Brown

Hello all,the PMDG Suppport Forum is super alive and many men give competent answers. No one will deny, the amount of FAQs is growing steadily since PM products becomme more popular and new a/c appear. This will somehow downgrade efficiency here. Some might argue, nobody reads FAQs and take thread 'How do you extend the stairs?' as an exaple. Some might refer to Search.I dare say it's time for FAQ737+FMC FAQ747+FMC ectDiscuss it.G

I'm a keen PMDG and FS2Crew user, and I work for company which offers full-motion simulator rides in the UK. This may be considered a shameless plug, and it is, but I hope you'll forgive me as it's very relevant to PMDG pilots...After a 1-year wait, the B737-700/800 Next simulator at Gatwick is now available again. The 'NG' simulator has been fully booked with pilot training during the last year, so we haven't been able to operate it.The good news is that we've finally been able to secure a handful of dates in December & January:http://www.virtualaviation.co.uk/fun/avail...ailability.htmlHope to meet some fellow PMDG users!

Hi all. Had the 737 600-700 when it originally came out and no probs. I recently reinstalled it with new patch, and I get 8-9 fps? With default FS9 planes I get around 25 fps (max 30). Just got the update to 800/900. I've upgraded the 600/700 panels etc to match. Now I've just noticed that all the overhead gaurded switches on the 600 and 700 are open and the switches are all off even though the systems are on.Anyone else had this . . .is there a cure.

Hi there,I'm well aware that TCAS doesn't work in the NG 600/700 package however, will it get implemented via an updat!!! or do we specifically have to purchase the 800/900 package just to get TCAS to work.I'm quite happy with the magnificent 600/700 aircraft you've produced but I can't see any reason for not having an active TCAS with it. I'm sure the real 600/700 model aircraft have it installed!!

I just upgraded to the 800/900 NG737 and now 40% of my map display is taken up by a VSI and an altimeter? Any way that I can put it back the way it was so I have a full veiw of the map display?Respectfully,Gary Rackliffe

Hi all,I know this would in no way be endorsed by either PMDG or Aeroworx, but I have compared photos of both the B1900D cockpit and the B200C cockpits and there really is no differences any differences are just the placement of a few switches. So I have therefore decided because I like to have full on functionality to stick the aeroworx panel in your beautiful 1900.My question is though, is the performance between the B1900D and the Super kingair very different? Also is my panel replacement realistic?Regards Matt Southwell

Hey there, title speaks for itself; anyone know the key command for this? I have shut the engines down completely and opened the main exit but to no avail! Cheers, Jack.

I made a recent flight from La Guardia to Toronto on a 700. I let the FMC and AP handle as much as possible. The plane entered descend automatically at T/D as I monitor. During the decend, V/S is really unstable. Top V/S I noticed was more than 8,000 feet/min. Is this normal or does this mean I didn't do everything the right way? As long as someone can confirm that it's not how the NG should fly, I'll go back and dig the tutorial again.Thank you.

Hi, I have downloaded PMDG 737NG fuel planner, and I'm not too sure how it works. Having entered PAX and Cargo weight etc and activated the 'Board Fuel' button, does the program go directly to the 737's FMC or to FS9's fuel and load facility? It certainly doesn't seem to appear on the FMC at present. Your assistance would be much appreciated:-( Thanks Marty
