I am encountering errors when typing in airport of origin and the airport where i am going to. For example, It will say things like "err FIX line 56" or "err NAVAID line 20"After this the airport will be register, and the path will appear on the screen and all, yet no SID/STAR procedures appear in DEP/ARR.This makes it virtually impossible to conduct a proper approach using autopilot.I have already deleted then re-installed my SIDSTARS in the PMDG/SIDSTARS folder, in which i installed the latest Navdata.at AIO, and the latest PMDG SIDSTARS. I also have the latest AIRAC Cycle, and i checked and the AIRAC Cycle and the SIDSTARS are 0412 (The latest one)I have already review…

Hi!Since about three weeks ago, I have a problem with the PMDG 737NG. Just after selecting an aircraft from FS2004s aircraft selection menu, it starts loading and ends shortly after that with a Windows XP error message.The message says there was a serious error and I have the option of reloading FS2004 (now you should know, which window I mean).It only happens with the PMDG 737 and no other aircraft. Just before crashing the small PMDG window opens in which the loading progress of the FMC database is shown. It shows 'Initializing' and then crashes...My system is Windows XP SP2 and FS2004 SP1.Anyone (including the PMDG team) got an idea?Thanks,Christian

Dear all,engine start/ignite sound files for internal/external views are substantially identical. You hear the same sound despite of you are in cockpit or in spot view (not too much realistic in my opinion). Dear All,I have reinstalled PMDG B737 again because I had tried to load something which didn't work but that's sorted and this is where my problems start.I deleted the folder FMCWP from the PMDG folder (wish I hadn't) so reinstalled the game again thinking it would put the folder back into the correct place well it wasn't even there. So went through my FS2002 folders and found the folder FMCWP so copied it to the PMDG folder thought that was fine. I have since tried to update the FMC with the current AIRac and SID/STAR database but it won't change wheather I'm extracting to wrong places with the Navdata and SID/STAR I don't know or am wondering wheather if it's because I …

Greetings,If there's anyone out there who loves writing SIDs, please let me know (I know I'm being lazy!!!), but need one or two SIDs to be written. Frequently, but not always, when I check the fire supression system during my pre-flight the alarm light goes on but the bell doesn't sound. I depress the Fire Alarm button and it clears the light as usual. Any suggestions as to what might be causing this? It appears to be a random anomoly. All other sounds appear to be working properly.

Folks,I dont fly on-line, so I need to purchase either Fsnav or Fsbuild to make my PMDG flying compatible with MSFS ATC, plus help me plan out my flights.This topic may have been discussed before but I've been unable to locate previous threads on this. On the descent page when I try to enter the landing airport QNH I get always get invalid entry. I have tried for example to enter 29.80 as /29.80. /2980 or just 29.80 and it always states invalid entry.I have no problem inserting the ISA temperature, what am I doing wrong? RegardsDon StewartCYEG

Hi all. Purchased the 737 over the weekend. I must say I am very impressed up to now. However, I have an issue with the sound.It works ok when I stay in the normal main panel view. However, if I switch to another view or menu, like spot plane, then the sound distorts badly, sometimes a loud screech. This is almost making a great product hard to use.I read a simialr post like this, and someone suggesting altering the active x memory or something? How do I do this?Kind regards,Richard

Having had the -600/-700 version for about 6 months and getting Timothy M's tutorials down pat, I recently purchased the -800/-900 version and am loving it.My only issue is that for some reason I cannot get the A/T switch to arm, when I click it to the on position (along with the FD for takeoff) it reverts to the off position and I get the A/T FMC Alert Light blinking on and off.Anyone have any thoughts? Hello all, Lately I have not had the ability to fly in MSFS due to extensive travel and some surgery but this morning I finally was able to spend a little time with my beloved hobby, I loaded up my PMDG 737/700 and had a ball. After the short flight I wanted to fly something else and after trying several things I came to a conclusion, I am spoiled. I have nothing on my system that I really want to fly anymore other than my PMDG 737. I no longer want to jump in the cockpit and go, I want to set up my aircraft properly and push all of the buttons like in real life, I want my aircraft to be of the highest quality inside and out. Hi,I am strongly considering purchasing the PMDG 737NG (both 600-700 and 800-900 versions). I fly some longer flights with my current 737 model, and I like to use the 4X simulation rate during cruise. I would like to know if I can fly the PMDG 737s at 4X speed without any issues. I've had payware addons before where 4X speed causes problems, so I just wanted to see what you guys had to say before I sunk $70 into the models, which quite a substantial purchase, in my oppinion.Thanks for any info. I've had a weird thing happening lately. When in flight, autopilot (FMC or manual AP both) goes into a 15000f/min dive. I uninstalled PMDG and reinstalled....same. Reinstalled FS9....same. Removed just about every third party software I can think of and still the same. This happens every time I fly...anyone have any suggestions or same experiences?? Any feedback would be great. Rob

How do you download a flight plan into the CDU / FMS. I can find my flight plan under Nav data and put in on the scratch pad but I am not able to enter it. What am I doing wrong ?

Since I installed the -800/900, by ovhd panel is useless. All switches remain off and cannot even be selected on. This renders my A/P useless since the flight control hydraulic switches cannot be turned on.Anybody experience this, please help?

Since updating to the 800/900 I can no longer use the key pad to return the speed brake lever to it's closed position. Searching this board I found a few references that said the Shift + default key would return it. Is the "default" key the "/" key? I tried shift + /, /, shift +, and a few other combinations but with no luck. I can use the mouse but prefer the key board if possible. I have had a look throught the manual but if it is there I missed it. Any suggestions?Dave

I have been flying the superb PMDG B737 - 600 / 700 for some time. But I seem to have two slight problems which I am strugglying to resolve.Firstly I have a Creative Soundblaster Live 5.1 (with the latest drivers! checked today)and I still have this screeching sound referred to in earlier posts. I normally leave FS for about 20 minutes and the screetching stops!. Can anyone help me solve this annoying problem which distracts from the superb PMDG A/C?Secondly, when I taxi all FS aircraft they taxi fine, but for some reason the PMDG B737 sways from left to right. I have the latest version 1.3, has anyone any idea's of how I can correct this problem, many thanks.Best Wishes …
