As a matter of interest, is there any way to monitor brake temperatures on the real NG? I guess you wouldn't necessarily need to know provided there were SOP's regarding RTO's .....

Fellow PC pilotz :)As a rookie PMDG 737 driver its exciting to see all its features slowly emerge. One of the most useful things to me is the extended runway-centerline that appears in the 2nd MFD when you are nearing the airport. It helps me line up properly :)I just wanted to know if I could tweak something in a PMDG config file to make this line longer?...so it shows on the screen when you are 20nm from the airport?Many thanks :)

Hi,I have two questions regarding the PMDG 737 (800/900):1.) Which realism settings are recommended for the PMDG 737? Everything to max?Iirc the dreamfleet guys recommended everything to 50% for their 737.2.) Would it be a good idea to take the MS default Cessna flight, shut the plane down completely and place it as my favorite airport and saving this as new default flight.Would that be a good starting point for a PMDG737 flight (just load it and change the plane) ?Cheers,Emacs

Is there a way to delete saved flight plans from within the FMC? I have been deleting them from the PMDGflightplans folder, which works ok.Also, the APU runs without activating any fuel pumps, although fuel is consumed (but now I can't remember which tank). I have more files in my old one than my new sid/star cycle of/for this months cycle 0412.Can anyone clarify this for me there is a difference of about 12 files less in this month???

I wish to purchase the above referenced software but have a slow 56k modem and have heard 'horror stories' from people who have had problems downloading and getting dumped off their servers and not being able to connect up again. It is my understanding that PMDG does not have any software affiliations that will support them with download accelerators & redial capabilities if you get dumped by your ISP.I currently have 'DAP' as an accelerator software add-on and I'm wandering if anybody has downloaded the 800/900 with an accelerator that has redial capability and has been successful. I bought and installed the PMDG 1900 but don't have a VC. Is this one where I have to choose between the 2D cockpit or a VC?

Hi, Has anyone tried to use FDC with PMDG's 737NG? If so, did you manage to program it to accept 737 NG cockpit callouts. Pre-Start checks, such as 'Yaw Damper ON' and 'Auto Pilot ON' etc does not respond. The default 737 call out instuctions are not all compatible with the 737NG's and I'm hoping that someone out there has worked out how to get both programs working in harmony. Thanks Marty U

Hello All, On my last flight, about half way thru the vnav function disconnected. The flight plan was correct with no route discontinuity. I was able to engage it again but again it disconnected a few minutes later still at cruise altitude. I've had this problem before but I figured it was a setup problem. I rechecked clb, crz, and des but all was correct. Anybody else had this problem. thanxEd

I have a question about the ND, always during the flight a green arc show on the Display going up and down, suddenly dissapear suddenly appereance moving up and down, somebody could explain me what is this and what does it mean.Thank youOctavio Pi

Does it make sense and is it advisable to copy the installation .exe file onto a CD after installation to save on disk space?Right now I have both the 600/700 70Mb and the 800/900 47mb files just lying on my desktop and I presume the only reason why one needs them is in the event of a reinstallation? The question here is, if there aren't any technical issues with installing the files again from a burnt CD?Thoughts?-Pranav

Happy thanksgiving to all,Just found this program on AVSIM SpeedUp 0.7 Beta by Henning Schaefer and thought to share this info with you regarding a significant improvement on frame rates. I think that I do have a decent computer P4 3.6, 2 gig mem and Nvidia 6800 GT, but as everybody I was looking for more stable frame rates in NY area out of JFK or EWR. Previously with PMDG I was getting with default settings on MSFS2004 about 22 fps with a drop to 16 fps, with this program I get between 30fps to 20fps.I would recommend giving it a try, very easy to install / uninstall and pretty good documentation IMHO.

Hello,I have a problem whit the b737-600/700/800/900 trust setting,when I fly FS Approaches Vol 1 - Europe it is not possible to control the engine trust either with my trottle lever or keybord inputs or auto trottle,when I select the trottle vieuw the trottles are in idle and it is not possible to move the trottles to a other position but when I fly a normal flight selected via the select flight menu everything is normal so only in Fs Approaches it locks up please let me now what to do because I cannot fly this adventure with the pmd 737 best regards martin.

Hi,I would like to use B9 as Autothrottle Arm Switch, B10 as Autopilot Switch and B1 as Autothrottle TOGA Switch. I found that I must have registered FSUIPC.dll to use ch yoke buttons in PMDG but... is any chance to make it via CH Control Manager ? Is anyone able to help me ? Thanks a lot.

Hi.I have a problem with the panel/ Virtual Cockpit in the 737NB and 800/900. I have started everyting after a cold and dark. But my PFD (Primary Flight Display), ND (navigation Display and the Engine Dispaly is still black. I have tried a reinstall but that didn't helped at all. What can I do?
