Hi all,It's common phraseology to hear something like "Depart CELMI heading 350 for vectors ILS 16L" out here at DEN.Is there some way to program into the FMS a "Depart fix heading," especially when there's a discontinuity to work with between the termination of the STAR and the final approach course. I know how to make a waypoint based off of the fix, but I don't really want to do that if there's a way to simply have it depart a fix to whatever your heading bug is set to. Thanks!~Nate

Is there a way to draw a circle, with a dotted green/white line, on the NG's ND to display the radius to the nearest airport or such object? They have it in the real 747-400 and I wondered if it's also in the NG, but haven't figured it out.Thanks!Jonathan

Hi all,HAs anyone got the CH Throttle quadrant calibrated to deploy the reversers after going past the throttle detents? Best I can get is that they deploy when I set ON the detents (not good!), or will not dpeloy at all. Any tips?Cheers,Gareth Evans

Just curious, with all the people wishing to purchase the 744 from PMDG, a majority of which will most likely choose to download the product, how will the PMDG Download servers cope with this? Well? Okay? Even though i am on cable i dont really want to wait in a queue for 8 hours to download the file :(Are you going to rent some more servers for the week of release? I've been having a problem since yesterday with the TCAS.Aircraft loads and flies OK - TCAS test OK - However it won't displayany traffic even though Squawkbox still displays all and all relevantbuttons pressed such as TFC.Much obliged for any help.Regards

Hello PMDG Team and PMDG fans,I've recently updated my 737 pmdg to the 737 NG 600/700/800/900 Series. Unlike the standard PMDG 737-600/700 (version 1.3), the updated version isn't allowing me to disconnect from Ground Power. I'm doing start up procedures (based on Timothy's M's recommendations and the PMDG Ops manual) and the problem I'm encountering is when I release the parking brakes. As soon as I release the parking brakes or start the engines Ground Power shuts off (as is supposed to happen) but then other things don't work - such as fuel pump switches, A/T switch, window heat switches, etc... I think I'm doing something wrong but I'm not sure what or where in the pr…

OK, I am making progress with the FMC. However, I've now done two flights where I accepted the FMC generated SPD/ALT constraints for an ILS approach, i.e, where the data appeared in small fonts and was dynamic during the flight; and in both cases, at some point after the commencement of the descent, I observed that the two approach altitude constraints were wiped out and replaced with altitude constraints that were exactly the same as the penultimate waypoint alt prior to landing, i.e., about 1000 and 2000 vertical feet lower than they should have been.When I re-set the altitude constraint during such a descent today, the vertical descent indicator flipped out with newly…

Greetings,I'd like to know what folks here like to use for fuel planning for the NG's. Are there programs to calculate it or is figured out manually?Also, I'm curious if anyone knows how it's done in the real world. Do captains have software to calculate fuel. Or do they figure it themselves?Regards,Bob By the way, after using these planes for a while, I can't imagine going back to the 'stock' fs9 jets. Hi I jus finished downloading the ATA version of the 737-800 but when I went to go and fly it I went to the styles menu to select their flight deck layout but ATA wasn't in there does anyone know what ATA's flight deck layout is PFD/ND or EFIS/MAP with what kind of ECIAS any help is appreciated thank youTyler

It looks like Boeing is going to be building a US Navy anti-submarine warfare version of the 737. It would be nice to have a Navy grey livery model with hard-points mounted under the wing and such.Yeah, we wouldnt be able to hunt subs, but one could launch from appropriate military bases and do patrols...it could be fun.

I just reinstall my 737 from scratch. I keep getting some generation code error. I enter the code that was sent to me when I purchased the AC, but that won't work. And it won't let me update to 1.3 so I can install the 800/900 AC. Thanks for any help.Bill M
