Now PMDG are releasing the Beech 1900C, an earlier version of the Beech 1900D, please please please develop a B737-300/400/500. Surely the variation projects must be less time-consuming than an all-new project such as the B744?Anyone else like to see an earlier version of the 737?

One of our PMDG-flying customers has mentioned an excellent tutorial flight which I'd love to try. Any ideas what/where it might be...??By the way, most of our customers who come and fly the full-motion B737NG simulator also fly the PMDG 737 on their PC at home. In fact, last Sunday, all of them did! Our instructor that day (who now flies B744 for Virgin, until recently B737-300/700 for easyJet) said he absolutely shocked how impressively everbody that day flew thew motion sim. A real testament to the quality of the PMDG simulation!

I just bought the 737-800 package, which tells me I need 737NG v1.3 , but I only own 737NG v1.1 .PMDG only offers the "Update 737NG 1.2 to 1.3" , but not "Update 737NG 1.1 to 1.2" . Therefore, I can't update my 737NG from 1.1 to 1.3 .Does anyone know how I can get my 737NG updated to 1.3 so that I can install the 737-800 package?Thank you!

Assumed Temperature Method is a procedure we use to minimise engine wear and conserve valuable maintenance dollars. The financial difference for a company in terms of extended engine life can be very important to profitability and so is a daily consideration for all commercial pilots. Our job is to operate a commercial service as profitably as we can. So where we have plenty of runway and no obstacles to clear and our weight is such that we do not require a Full Thrust T/O we will use less than full thrust. Now we can't just take a stab in the dark at it so we have a procedure called Assumed Temperature Thrust Reduction. In each aircraft there is a Runway Analysis Book tha…

In reading some recent articles in one of the popular flight sim magazines, I noticed what appeared to be screenshots of the PMDG737NG panel, but it had the split screen PFD. Is this available for the 600/700 or is it just something that was added for the 800/900 version?Regards,Stuart Hyett

I use the B737-800 ( or even 6/7/or 900) and always start up fs2004 in a cold and dark configuration. Lately i got some serious problems with my electricals. When i put the battery switch on, i don't hear a click and nothing happens. Ckpt stays dark. Next i put the transfer swicht cap to close, and get my stby system armed, meaning that some overhead panel lights are on. A APU start doesn't work. All EFIS screens stay's dark.I don't see a solution. Can anyone help me?Thanks for your concern.Rgds,Deckx K.Belgium.

Dear Development Team, can you advise/confirm that the upcoming "Queen" will rely on the same "navdata" information/layout as the 737NG`s when it comes to SID/STARS?Just like to get an upfront clue as need to look into getting all the SID/STARS info for our "not-so-typical destinations" coded. Thanks for info :-)Cheers,Norbert - CLX001CEO Virtual Cargoluxwww.virtualcargolux.org

Gentlemen,As promised, here is round 2.Entered the flight plan with several waypoints. After the initial climb, ATC directed me to a waypoint not on my flightplan. I entered this at the top of the LEGS page, and got the discontinuity warning. If I were to make the next waypoint as per my flightplan, I would be backtracking. Therefore, I picked a waypoint along my planned route that was at least in the direction of the airport, but I still flew a very indirect route. What does ATC expect a pilot to do when directing to a waypoint not on the plan? I use VoxATC, not the FS9. Is the entire flightplan scrapped? Once directed outside the plan, with no further instructions when r…
