Hi folks! Maybe someone jhere could help me. This is the question:When you want to divert to your alternate airport, how do you make it? In the Airbus MCDUs, you have the ALTN F-PLAN feature but in the NGs FMCs there is not (not even an RTE2 option, like in the 767/757 Pegasus FMC). So how do you make it? Delete the active route and make a new route, perf, etc., to the alternate airport?Please help!Thanks!

I have the PMDG 737-800/900 software with several liveries and have been flying with great success with good textures and frame rates. A few days ago when I selected the outside view, my program seemed to freeze with the outline of the aircraft on the screen, but no aircraft textures. After 30 to 40 seconds the aircraft textures started to fill in and movement returned. When I switched back to the cockpit view, all was well until I went to outside view and the samething happened. Recently had to perform a fresh reinstall of Win XP. Am currently reinstalling all my addon aircraft including the PMDG 737NGI have the original email receipt for my purchase - what else do I need to email your support address? In 2D mode is there any way of 'sitting' in the FO seat on the rhs for a change - sometimes I want to see what's out of the window on that side without moving out of the office.

For some reason the crs, heading, altitude, and vs indicators on the glareshield stay dark without any digits showing, even after turning everything on. I can engage the various commands like lnav, vnav, etc., but no digits?any ideas?ricardo

Hi everyone, I have finally installed this aircraft after a lot of problems.But now when I fly and even before takeoff the sound goes all scratchy.If I turn the sound off for a short period it seems to settle down but then back it comes again.Also is it normal that it seems to take longer to load this aircraft compared to any others on fs9 cheers Paul

Hi, Does any of you have any good performance files to share such that FSBuild makes more accurate predictions for the NG series? I just yesterday gave in to the urge and purchased FSBuild. I realize it is quite a complex planner, so my learning curve is quite steep (this will also serve as my excuse if it turns out that I am using the planner wrong and no performance files a needed :)). Hi,I do not like the post on the windscreen in 2d mode and usually try and edit it out in the bmp file. I prefer to fly in 2d mode, but the post hinders my out-of-the-window view (and in a way which I think is unrealistic).I have some trouble editing out the post in the 73 because the night lights are built into a gauge file, it seems. I just had a look at the 74 screenshots and noticed that the post is even bigger. I think it would be good to see either an option to turn this off or a convenient way to edit it out in new PMDG releases.Cheers,Bryn.

Wonder if anyone can throw some light on this ?When sat at the gate, with parking brake set, my plane starts to creep forward very very slowly - noticeable from side views etc.Never noticed before as usualy I'm away pretty quick from start up, but went to make a coffee the other day and found my bird half way across the active - ATC wanted me to call them naturally, but opted for the 'alt and reset' :-lol :-lol :-lol Didn't want my license revoked this soon...Seriously though, any help appreciated...Best Regards Eddy Nichol

Sorry to repeat this stuff but just want to ensure I did understand this correctly some time ago:When you take off in the NG manually and activate CMD at whatever ALT you click it on (assuming no FMC flight programmed with LNAV+VNAV), the AP throws you into straight into....LVL CHG mode? I posted a week ago or so ago about how my computer was crashing whenever I run the PMDG series aircraft, doesn't matter which one. This is the only airplane that causes my computer to basicly freeze. I have tried uninstalling/installing PMDG 737, and FS2004 a zillion times now. I have tried just running PMDG alone, with FS2crew, with active sky and without, in all different variations. I have ran end it all and not. I have no virus' or adware. This is the only thing that has ever killed my computer. I have installed new sound card drivers, and video drivers with the newest versions and not the newest versions. I just don't know what to do, my next step is to reis…

Just got the 737- 700 boxed version i ordered and all went in fine but you can only mouse click switches and what ever on the main panel. I always always go to the Cessna default before i go any where else like saved flights let's say. So i go to the Default Cessna then select the PMDY 700 2d cockpit only cause i literly hate VC and don't care if i ever see one , so now the 700 aircraft should be running, but it shows up with the -EFFIS's black -not lit and when you open the over head or any thing else you can't mouse ckick seat belts or any switch for that matter. Any ideas on this? ----Louis

HelloCan someone help me please.I am having trouble with the FMC and Autopilot in 737NG.I follow the manual to the letter in inputing route data into the FMCHowever when I try to engage autopilot I get an alarm and it will not set.I think I am putting the info in correctly other than the ARR/DEP info.Do I put the ARR runway in first or last or when? I think this is where I may be going wrong but I'M not sure.I also get an error message 'GCTS err LTE unknown' whenever I try to input route EGSS--GCTS.I am about to go bald pulling my hair out, I'm not an expert but have been sim flying for many years.Any help will be much appreciate.Jack

All,I've just bought the 737NG and have a few questions about performance. Frankly, the performance was lousy when I first fired it up, and so I've tweaked the VC (removing some guages that I can do without) in order to get it to provide acceptable frame rates (but still not ideal).However, I've heard that amongst other things the 800/900 update substantially improves performance in the VC for the standard 737NG - can anyone tell me by how much (i.e. is it really worth the upgrade). I'm not interested in the 800/900 per-se, I'd only upgrade to get better performance in the standard 737NG.Also (to PDMG), why isn't this performance fix included as a free patch to register…

Hi NG guys.Does the FMC model wet runways?Was flicking through to set a wet departure runway and couldn't see an option for this in the parameters.Also I do see descent paths being unachieveable quite often and also drag required so hence deploying spoilers and using speed on MCP. Is this realistic. Saw a few posts re the vnav pth being rather difficult to achieve in real life and hence the above method being used.CheersAndyEGNX

DavidAlright PMDG, Listen up! :) I have been thinking hard and clearly about college, and my calculas training is up at a little college. I have found that I am going to get my airline type IN The A320,319 and its a pleasure to finaly announce that. The thing and big question I want to ask is, would PMDG be willing ever or mabey possibly creating the A320 I really want to know. Even as a addon mabey along with the a319. Im very courious because I think this company is the best in creating aircraft addons. I'm telling you I would probably throw extra money out to the company. Mabey possibly at the end of creating the MD-11 and 747. Possibly Creating The A32…
