Reading a few earlier threads with people wanting progress updates but more along the lines of "how long". Perhaps a more interesting and realistic progress thought would be along the lines of "What feature/bugs we are currently working on, what setbacks we have had, what things are currently being tested, what features have passed testing and are basically waiting for the rest of the product to be finished."Ceartainly more informitive (and realistic) than a 'progress bar', and may also help some readers learn about the building and testing process that goes into developing a large sophisticated addon such as the 744 or MD11.Of course the biggest problem with this is some…

I know you can export a flight plan from FSNav to be used in the FMC on the PMDG737, but can you use FSNav to directly control a flight like it does with other aircraft?Gus White

I am rapidly exhausting my comfort with the FS9 flight plan utility and planning to buy a flight planning progam. I have narrowed this decision down to FSNavigator or FS Build, there are probably more people using FS Navigator, but from the descriptions of the two, I like the method of building a flight plan using Jet Airways and Sid/Stars in FS Build better. If this is not a subject that is appropriate for this forum, I would ask the Mod to immediately trash it, if it is okay, would anyone with experience with FS Build give me an impression of your satisfaction with the program and its usability? I would appreciate that.GB

I was reading through the files and noticed that the AOM does not have a section for calculating the VREF And i was told that it was expected to have been added with release of 800/900 updatebut after buying the update that information was still not there what should i do??

Why am I taking most of a 12000 ft runway to reach t/o speed? Flaps are at 5, the plane is empty...everything seems normal.Why can I pan up and down in virtual cockpit but not side to side?Thanks,Gus White

Dear Sir: I bought the 737NG in Denver during the Conference, but I have three problems:1) I dont have TCAS, and I cant find the setup of TCAS, could you please tell me how does it work, where can I turn on, because I cant turn it on from the Transponder control, so I dont have TCAS even when I have FSUIPC.2) After the plane crash the FS not response and a warning window appearence telling me that FS have a fatal error send information to Microsoft, windows XP.3)If I am flying for an hour the PC reboot automaticaly, I dont know why, I have a P4 3.20E ghz 1g Ram SATA 80 GB, but with the 737 one hour and stop working, and the computer got very slow.Thank youOctavio …

As default situation, I have the def. Cessna at VHHX with avionics, master switch and engine off. I then open a PMDG Boeing, switch on the battery and stand by power to auto. BUT: the CRTs remain black. I can perform APU start, engine start and even fly the aircraft with the MCP (which is not black...). I have to cycle views by hitting "S". When getting back to cockpit view, everything works fine. (btw, battery life in FSUIPC is set to indefinitely). Your aircraft models are definitely top notch quality, but I would prefer to have functioning CRTs after a correct start up procedure. :) What am I missing here?Andreas HermesEDDH

I was wondering if Ross Carlson was going to update his fuel planer now that the US 1000 ft seperation and not 4000. I know I can get in the ball park. It would also be nice if it went from fl200 to fl410.

HiI was flying a hop with the 1900 into KPHL ILS app with ATC. After recieving vectors I set up the approach as usual. At the outer marker I selected the gear handle to lower gear. There was no noise and the gear didn't cycle? I went missed and checked switches etc... I turned on the deice (it was freezing) and couldn't get the gear to extend? No green lights, and I double checked the external view. So I did the belly landing rebooted the FS9 game & all was well. Just wondering if this happened to anyone & why? I had no failures selected.Aloha Will

Here i am again still lost well as i said in my last post I am new to the PMDG planes i know have an overhead panel to work with and a whole lot of new buttons to look at. Well i once helped a person out who wanted to save a flight so that when they started the sim all the instruments would be in the same manner. Well this is what i am asking is there some one who can make a video by recording the sim while the are in the proccess o0f starting the plane. Ok this is the deal i just spent $80.00 on the next generation PMDG plane plus the addon. I did alot of research and found that this company always came out on top. So i got it. Now let me explain i am used to flying the planes that came with MSFS 2004 and alot and i mean alot of add on planes. I am very used to making the flight planin MSFS 2004 chooseing GPS and being on my way. So let me tell you to my suprise that after seeing this plane and what it had to offeri was amazed but now i really cant fly the plane. I printed out about 250 pages of instruction on how to set the plane up how to start it correctly and so on. But to tell you the truth i do not know how to use …

First of all, WOW, I am super impressed with the 737NG, that's what Im talking about making it "as real as it gets".Quick question, I have my joystick button 3 set to arm and disarm the spoilers in flight. The only problem is when I click the button the spoilers go up, then whe I try to disarm them, the spoilers will not go down, I have to get to the "T" panel and click with the mouse to bring them down. I have tried many things and nothing works. I did a search here in the forum but there are some many returns for spoilers that I gave up.Anyone know the solution for this problem?Thanks.J.M.

Is it still the case that engine start levers will always be in idle position when starting from Cold & Dark scenario? I know this has been the case up to now and resulted from a compromise forced on PMDG by the way in which FS works. It is no big deal to move the start levers to cutoff at the beginning, but I don't like the fact that the ENG VALVE CLOSED and SPAR VALVE CLOSED Lights are illuminated bright blue, indicating disagreement between valve postion and start lever postion.BR,Frank

Im sure this question has been raised numerous times, so Im sorry if I sound like a echo. but is there going to be any chance of a licensed version of Active camera 2004? or are we once again forced to purchase Active camera 2004 to fully enjoy the plane in all its glory..mainly which includes the virtual cabin where the passenger sits and views things etc. I just looked on the features displayed for th4e 747 QOS it says as follows.."Virtual Cabin - In addition to the virtual cockpit, a virtual cabin is available for the best wing views when using Active Camera 2004" I dont wanna be a killjoy, Ill admitthis add on looks awesome and would like to get it, but Im kinda disap…

I'm at my wits end with this problem! I would be grateful for any help.I recently reinstalled FS9 to my new hard disk (I created a new Games partition - M:). The installation went fine and FS9 now works great. I installed the FS9.1 patch and now I haven't had a blue screen or CTD for the last ten days (Yay!).I reinstalled my PMDG 737-600/700 along with a few other paywares.The problem now is that when I start FS9 I get an error saying that the 737 panel will not function due to the lack of GDI+, and sure enough, when I load up the 737 for a flight the panel does not display correctly.the strange thing is, I am running Windows XP home (with SP1) and I shouldn't need the…
