    Hello all,Last weekend I made an improvement to my self build thrustlevers. I implemented thrust reverse. A thing that I experienced is that when the reversers where pulled out of stowed position, (REV turned amber in EICAS) there is a forward thrust not reverse. Only when I pull the levers farther back they turn GREEN, then there is a reverse thrust.Is this normal or is this a FS9 thing.....ThanksErik

    Hi all, I have just downloaded the procedures for the pmdg 737 fmc and many of them do not work with new cycle 502. I was wondering why they are included if they dont work. Was trying to set up a flight from KIAD-KATL but no sids or stars would display. Where can i get a working set from. 2 major airports and no sids or stars.RegardsDavid

    Hi, I don't know if this has been adressed before, I ran a search on it, but didn't find anything. I guess my question is, why is it that the horizontal stabilators don't move realistically, when I adjust my trim on the ground, the stabilators shake a little bit, but don't actually change position like in real life, and I was wondering why PMDG has not made a fix for this. The only reason I can think of for this is that I don't know what I'm talking about or, this is on;y an issue with my 737. From what I know, when you trim full up the stabilators should be full down, and when you set trim full down, the stabilators will be in a fully upward position. Anyone who can …

    To PMDG Staff,First, I would like to say that the PMDG 737's are the best aircraft ever for Flight Simulator. The only aircraft I will be flying in FS2004. :-sun1I would just like to make a suggestion regarding the way the Load Manager adds passengers. Starting at the first row and filling rows going aft would create havoc with the weight and balance if you don't have a full passenger load. A random seat assignment generator as you add passengers would be more realistic and also have a more even weight and balance.Just an observation and suggestion from an A & P mechanic.Otherwise, a fantastic product.Cheers :-beerchugFred Bray

    Hi, A couple of days ago, Scandinavia was hit by an extreme low pressure area. In Copenhagen the QNH was as low as 973 mb (could have been lower, I only did random readings). I noticed on approach that as soon as I decended through the transition altitude and hence reset my altimeter to local pressure, that all of a sudden I was already lower than lowest cleared altitude. My question is, how are situations like this handled in real life? I assume that the pilots in this case switch to local pressure a bit earlier to prevent decending too low.     Hi everybody, this is my first post hereI'm having some trouble using the stabilizer trim and rudder due to the jerky movement. I found some posts mentioning this problem and I quote one here:Quote start:"The NG contains an electronic trim limiter per button click.     PMDG 737 (I have both 600/700 and 800/900) is in my opinion the best addon ever made for FS, but there is still lot of work to do.Is it possible, that there will be some v2.0 update? With features that would add a more realism to the sim. First big thing missing in such a great add-on is RANDOM and INTELLIGENT failure generator. Such as birdstrikes during takeoff or landings, overheating of some anti-ice systems when operating in high temperatures, random engine failures, oil leakings....And second thing is some more systems working.     Hi,Trying to install this software by double clicking on the exe and while the DOS window appears briefly, no install occurs and the system locks up the file. I have bought KMIA scenery from flytampa today and i wanted to fly from KMIA with pmdg 737ng well when i was going to select runway and sid the fmc said err: RWY 08 unknown ok i said and tried to go to the sid selection page but there it said no sid avaible and no runway was visible at ALL !!!!:(. i have looked at the KMIA.txt and i cant find anything wrong:( this is the only airport ive found that acts like this. But also KMCI actully. Why is it like this? Is there any fix for it?:(.Best regards: Alexander

    This morning I tried seven times to start any of my PMDG 737, each time the system would hang first on the AIRAC load, I then downloaded the latest release, but still no luck, it now goes through the loading of the airac without any problem but crashes thereafter. Since all my other aircraft work properly, I suspect this is a PMDG issue and dread the reponse that will tell me to clean up my PMDG aircrafts and reinstall because my files are corrupted... Since I like to understand what I am doing, I would want to know why this happened in the first place especially since I did not change anything at all (no new installation or deletion) from the last time I used my 737.Than…

    What slider settings are you using to fine-tune the sounds for your PMDG 737-800? Or, are you using add-on sounds for the aircraft? The reason I ask is that I just have a feeling that the "mix" I have just doesn't seem to sound quite right - too much extraneous noise and not enough aircraft (yes I know the engine sound is muted somewhat in the cockpit in real life). BTW, I do have a high end card and high end speakers.My settings: Engine 91, Cockpit 55, Environment 5, Navigation 25, Lessons 50, ATC 95.Thanks!
