Ever since I installed the LDS 767, my PMDG 737 won't work. It was doing just fine, with the latest patch. Flying great. Now my CRTs are pitch black and won't come on no matter what I do.I removed and reinstalled. Still no dice. There is something LSD 767 put on my system that is interfering. Any ideas?Dave

The pmdg product is the best out there, but one thing that no developer in the flight sim world has ever done is created a realistic engine front. On all addons (not just pmdg) the front of the engines where the fans are is always bright, if you look at real pictures the engines always have a shadow where the fans are. I have never seen an addon with this represented but it would shure add a realistic touch.

Hi PMDG Crews, I notice the frame rates for exsiting 737NG is accpectable, butfor last week, once purchased Level D sim 767 & found 1 of theirgood feature is using the DXT format & it's seems help a lot on frame rates also the smoothness motion when using the spot view. A question is, will PMDG new 744 will have better way to improvesmoothness or may using the DXT3 format as texture...B/Regards...Alex Ooi

Hi guys I need confirmation on my TO Procedures:I am going to describe the ICAO A procedure for TO (noise Abatement) TO Flaps: 5, Weight Less than 117K Pounds.1. advance the throttles to 40%2. Advance the throttles to 70% Click TOGA3. Call Airspeed alive, 100 knots v1-Rotate4. Rotate the AC at +-3 deg per Sec up until 15 Deg (It has proven to be dificult for me)5. Call Positive Rate - Gear Up6. Follow the FD (WIngs Level/V2+20)Up until here it was a very straight forward here comes the deal:7. at 400' AGL select roll mode, HDG or LNAV (Why?, I am still flying the AC manually, Roll mode will no be in effect if the AP is off) ---> is this just to have the FD cue of the r…

Hello,Today, I went to Bruges Air College, a non-certified but extremely impressive boeing 737-800 simulator. For the first time, (I am not a pilot), I experienced what it's like to be in control of a heavy jetliner and to be in the ambience of a very true to life cockpit environment. The simulator is not certified as it's not a 100% real simulation of the real aircraft, but it's VERY close to the real thing, with 3-axis motions and most systems running. Many pilots use the simulator for extra training. Most impressive was the lighting of the cockpit. As soon as you entered the cabin in which the cockpit was built, you truly felt like stepping into a real 737NG cockpit. O…

  8. Hi guys I have recently installed FS9 and the 737-800/900 (one month ago).Everything was working great till one day (about a week ago) the computer started locking up sometime into any flight in any situation with any aircarft in any scenery. The sim simply froze and whichever sound was being played by the sim went into a cyclic "lockdown" rythm. I could see from my cpu lights that no data was being read or processed. Manually reseting the machine was the only way out. From this day on this kept on happening at apparently random times into the game, but I never could get a flightsim session to last for more than 15 minutes. I tried uninstalling everything and redoing the …

I sent an email today, but realized that is for lost keys and that is not the case for me. I have my keys and need to move to my new computer. Thanks in advance.

Hi, a few days ago I bought and installed 737NG and it worked properly. Yesterday I also installed the 737-800/-900 and since then the 737NG-Cockpits don't work properly anymore. I have problems switching the views (using the "M Z A L F O T R I"-buttons in the cockpit (e. g. when I klick "O" for the overhead-panel, the mainpanel disappears, but the overhead-panel doesn't appear)) and the three screens and the A/P-displays stay black and don't show anything. Can someone help me? Thanks very much!

This might has been asked repeatly but I really can't find out a way to know the real-time wind aloft that is happening in flight simulator, flight simulator doesn't provide us the detailed weather profile, so how can we foresee the wind's direction/knots? Without this information, how can we input wind's conditions in FMC's descend forecast page? I think this's important for FMC to calculate the accurate position of T/D.Don't tell me to use activesky, it causes problems to many aircraft addons...Thanks very much!

I wonder how nice the cabin is going to be on this 747-400. I'm on www.airliners.net looking at 747-400 cabins. WOW! There amazing. I wish I had the money to fly like that. I just hope the cabin on the 747-400 is full from nose to tail. I swere if it is like that, PMDG is going to have me throwing money at them :) hehe. Well please just tell me what I need to expect. I saw a quote that you guys might be updating pictures this week, or next. Well thanks. Thanks,David

Well and the 737-800 :). My life is going so well. Thanks PMDG. I'm about to make a flight out to La Gurdia NY. IN THE 737-800 AMERICAN AIRLINES :) wish me luck. Flight level of 22000FT Cruising at 280 KNOTS. Sounds good huh? Thanks.Pmdg rocks! David S

Hello,I've just notice that:737-800 & 900 series have a less important V/B on the DESC page that 737-600 & 700 series. Moreover, with the 8 and 900 series it's rare that "drag required" appear on the FMC.Is that similar with the real 737NG ?Thanks in advance.

So very little freeware and only a couple of quality payware items besides the basics like AS2004.5, FSUIPC, FsNavigator, Ultimate Traffic etc. I want to do everything 100% correctly to avoid my FS9 partition getting a mess.So can someone please confirm my assumed install order?>Install PMDG 737-600/700 v. 1.2>Update to version 1.3>Install PMDG 737-800/900>Update Optional models update>Update to Service update 1>And then i also have a file called PMDG_737_800_900_Temp_Update1 in my files. Hi!Yesterday I tried to plan a flight from EDDP to EDDF with the 737NG. When I entered EDDP as departure into the FMC, I get the following messagees: "err: MAG35 unknown" and "err: GOT09 unknown". As a result to this, no departure or arrival information is available for EDDP in the 737s FMC. Other airports work without error. I am using the latest SID/STAR all in one package from navdata.at (latest update 2005-03-02 00:42:24). I have already opened the file for EDDP in a text editor, but I do not know how the file format for FMC has to be, so I did not want to change anything. Can someone help me with this?yours,Thorsten

Dear PMDG,I'm not sure if I'm postin in the right place but I have a question about the 737NGs, series 600, 700, 800, and 900. Are the flight dynamics accurate? The reason I ask is because when begin to taxi and advance the throttles to start the roll, the airplane accelerates too quickly and continues to accelerate, even with very little power. I only advance the throttles just to the point where the airplane starts to roll. If I leave the throttles in this position, the airplane continues to accelerate way too quickly. But If I bring the throttles back a little, it comes to a stop rather quickly. It's not a smooth and gradual movement as is with the real 737s. The probl…

I've more or less mastered the correct t/o and climbout procedure by now and have been hand flying to the default MCP ALT 10000 using only the FD with TO/GA and then N1. I level off into ALT HLD mode at 10,000 and all's well at IAS 240/250.I now want to step-climb (manually, not using VNAV, etc.) beyond 10,000 to 15,000 and 20,000', etc., at IAS 280/290 and cannot figure out what the procedure is to depart the ALT HLD of 10,000 to do this using the FD.I dial in MCP 290 and it accelerates but what do I do on the MCP to get the FD to guide me upward to FL150 or 200? I tried all sorts of stuff just now and it didn't work quite right or well. I ended up clicking CMD A on, …

quoting RR: The only thing left to install is pressurization. Yes- I'm dreading that one because of the mathematics involved... but that's all that's leftIf one thinks of a highly 'professional' touch in the area of pressurization one thing comes to mind which so far has been neglected by practically all simulations - proper rate of pressure change. For example pressing a dump switch would result in some controlled outflow of the air from the cabin - the valves have but finite dimensions. This sort of action typically results in an almost instanteonous (and significant) drop of cabin pressure in the current generation of FS simulators.Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,…

I did a search on the site for this but could not find a topic, I'm sure it's here some where?Anyhow, I have been following the "quick start" tutorial in the manual, and for some reason the right engine will not start and shows "low oil pressure" However, the left engine starts fine? Also, it starts fine if I just use the "E" for a start up, as in the default MSFS2004. So in sumary: the left starts fine, but then I have to use the "E" key to get the right started. Then I can move on as normal and fly.Any thoughts? Thanks, James
