A couple of questions about the panel in the Beech 1900D..which I just installed..Is there any way to get the panel lights on in the VC in daytime? I've tried all the keyboard commands I can find..When the sun is at a certain angle the panel is so dark I can't really read anything... Also,both panels seem a bit--fuzzy..difficult to read numbers, names of little switches...for me at least. especiaslly really accurate headings...I have to keep zooming in and out to get really accurate readings.The autopilot is, to me anyway, totally unreadable unless one zooms way in. Of course I like to think I know what I have punched in,but it would be good to see it..I guess just memori…

Hi again;If I remember correctly, a while back there use to be a stand alone FMC unit put out, I think, by PMDG so that one can check out this advance feature and practice entries. If I am incorrect in this recollection, forgive me. On the other hand, if there is anyone out there that knows of a place where I can download this practice FMC, would you give a web location, that is, of course if the stand alone FMC/CDU exist. Note: I would love to practice on my work computer--ONLY DURING MY LUNCH HOUR, OK.

I just hope PMDG won't make the same mistake as Level D's 767 project: no rate 4x capability, and NO pause at top of descent. I know not everyone needs that, but for many on long range aircraft, these features are necessary. And for those who disagree, they are hidden and don't affect your use of the flight. The 737 didn't need it because it is a short to medium range hauler.Those two reasons are the biggest for me getting my money back on the 767. I think I will wait for captain sim instead on that one - even if it takes them 2 years.I truly am impatient for the 747 - I am getting tired of having the pss airbuses my only long range aircraft. Hi Everyone;Last week I bought the PMDG 737-800/900, and at this point I am trying to learn the FMC. However, whenever I use the number pad I get numbers other than the ones I punched in, e.g., whenever I enter the number 7 I get the number 4 in the scratch pad. The same goes for number 8, 5 comes up; for the number 9, 6 comes up and so on. I thought this particular version, published by Aerosoft, included all updates. If anyone else is having this porblem, please let me know how you solved it.

At the moment i am flying 737-800,i find it annoying when starting up engines i can hardly hear them spooling up and it applies when they have reached standard rpm is there a cure for this.............regards robin:(

Probably shouldn't ask, but with your fantastic 737 series and now a 747, would you possibly be thinking of doing a 757? I fly for Continental Virtual and was flying the 757 in FS2002 using the 767PIC and a merge to the Project Opensky 757s. Sure would be great if someone with the expertise and know how to produce a FS version of this aircraft. Both the -200 and -300 would be nice! :-sun1

I am very familar with doing vor/dme app but i have the problem of trying to draw the tear shape into the fmc is there any othe method besides place distant bearing to draw the tear drop part of the vor app.

Ever since I installed the Level D 767, my PMDG 737 has black/dark CRTs. Nothing will turn them on. Also, my overhead panel is a patchwork of day and night bitmaps. It's definitely screwed up.This is a bug and not a setting that I've missed.I tried a total removal and clean install. Same problem.Anyone have any suggestions?

The low-end rumble of spoiler extension is awesome, especially with bigger speakers.Makes the extra drag sort of more real, in my head at least. But using just flaps makesa great deal of low noise too, at least on a MD-82 (dear PMDG, code that model too tothe MD-11 package, please? :-D).Basicly copying the "spoiler extend rumble" to a new audiofile, configure something so itwould start looping after any flap extension airborne, and to stop when final flap angleretracted airborne. Is any tweaking like this possible?-Aleksi Bovellan-PMDG 737-900 :-)Ps. Endless thanks from the 737NG, it's something beyond words.

Could someone clarify this for me, please,The green flap setting indications calculated by the FMC on the PFD airspeed tape....do they indicate the correct flaps manoevering airspeed for that particlar flap setting or the point where the flap lever is to be moved to the next setting?and the other question is:whats the small white line bug indicating that appears on the airspeed tape on final/flaps 30 ??I cant work this one out. I cant find any mention of it in the manualsit's not Vref+5 confusedJonboy:-hmmm

Hi,I belong FS9 and PMDG 736 up to 739. This runs at Win XP with Service Pack2. Either with unpatched and patched FS9 and completely patched PMDG my FS9 crashes to desktop, when TCAS is activated and when TCAS is assigned to FS2004 in the PMDG menue of FS9. At the error sending report of FS9 there you can read, that pmdg_737ng-main.gau causes the crash. If TCAS is assigned in the PMDG menu to FSUIPC (also newest version), FS9 will not crash.What is wrong?

Hey chaps! I thoroughly enjoy flying my PMDG bird but after a clean reinstall and patches etc, my frames are now terrible.DO any of you folk get 10-11 frames with this plane or is there ways to increase the frames a little?Any help would be greatThanksDoug

Hi there Fellow Pilots,Well i have made a few flights with the PMDG aircrafts and i must say i dont like to fly anything else. This aircraft in my eyes is unbeatable. Ok that said I have been flying the aircraft with out any wind I put 360/0 into the wind section of the fmc. But now i want to start flying in some weather so i want to start putting in the real wind number but where do i get this information. I know in the sim if you hitnumber one it tells you some weather information but within that message what info do i need to put into the fmc.Can anyone help me??
