Hi,to those of you who have the Lago Rome 2004 installed together with PMDG:Since I installed the SP2 on Rome 2004 I am unable to change the airport-lightning, safe-guard and finger docks activation to the aircraft at LIRF. I entered the freqs into NAV1 but no success. Then I tried all freq from 108.00 up to 117.95 MhZ... but no way...Did something change concerning the finger dock-, lighting-system since SP2? What are the (new?) freqs to ativate/deactivate each system?Many thanks in advance... :)GreetingsSusan

I bought the Cd version yesterday and upgraded to the 800 / 900 and now if I look at the 600 / 700 none of the FOTRC keys work. The MZAL ones work Ok but I can't call up the overhead or the radios or FMC etc. The 800 /900 seems Ok. Any ideas on how to get the others back please ? I did run the update from the CD and the panels on the 600/700 do appear to have been changed.many thanks

I love this plane but have a question...I always fly with 2D cockpit and noticed an overhead panel in the VC but not 2D cockpit. Are there any plans to release an overhead panel for the 2D cockpit - even a non-functioning one? I think it would make an excellent addition but would naturally understand if there are no plans to do so as it's such a bargain at the price. Also, wondering if there is likely to be a pressurization panel for the plane.Thanks in advance, and again, a wonderful add-on aircraft.Adam

HiHad my first PMDG B737-700 longish haul flying on VATSIM yesterday and noticed that my altitude and that reported by VATSIM were different (by 400'). I also noticed this on another aircraft also flying VATSIM in my vacinity and reporting FL370 but showing in VATSIM as FL374.As I went through the transition layer, I selected STD air pressure, which I would have thought would have corrected for any air pressure anomolies. Is it normal to show a difference between the selected flight level in the cockpit and that reported by VATSIM?

I want to publicly thank Paul Gollnick for the great support he provided to help me get the 737NG, 600-900 back in business after a power brown out/black out during a Thunderbumper caused my Win XP to become seriously corrupted.My first reinstall failed to work but Paul reset me and had me temporarily reset my virus/firewall settings to a less agressive level and I am back in business. PMDG and Paul are now in the same book with me as Shawn Fletcher at Aerosoft-Online, and that is pretty exalted company for them both.I appreciate the environment where my preferred supplier of software add ons has service as good as their products. I am a big PMDG fan and i fly all the 737's and the beecg 1900D. but my favorite Boeing is the 717. i was extremel sad when i found out that the 717 was going to be out of production. Since PMDG has staed with Boeing/Mcdonnel Douglas as their main airplane, i thought that it would be a great idea for PMDG to make the "Baby Boeing" the 717. since they are almost getting done with the 747-400 and are gonna start work on the MD-11. i would love to hear what you have to say about my idea.

Hy all;Just installed the stand alone installer for the B1900C only, not the D version, and I've encountered no performance data for this in the instalation folder.I suppose that such a turboprop would come with some performance data and the numbers to handle it. Only a pfd doc attached to it wit no more than 15 pages.I guessed at first that the instalation was corrupted but it the airplane works OK.Thanks in advance;

I am trying to follow Fred Clausen's tutorial (version 2), but haven't even been able to leave the gate because I have been having problems with the FMC.When I first installed, I downloaded 0505 AIRAC data from www.navdata.at. I started to follow the tutorial. When I got to programming the FMC and the part where I select the Pullman 4 arrival for KORD, I found that no arrivals were listed for KORD at all, but the approaches on the right-hand side of the screen were there. So, thinking that the AIRAC data from www.navdata.at didn't include SIDS/STARS for the PMDG 737, I went to the PMDG website and downloaded the latest SID/STAR package from there. I restarted FS9 and …

I have recently purchased the PMDG 737-6,7,8,& 900. I have been flying the tutorials and learning the systems for the last several days & nights. I had something happen twice in the last few days that I had never seen before. I was online, finished with my preflight, did an engine start, but no engine sounds. I checked my settings, they were OK. Shut down MSFS and restarted with the same results. I could load a default plane and it would be fine but not the PMDG. Downloaded the latest FSUIPC, installed it, still no engine sounds. I then removed all the addon modules, with the exception of the FSUIPC. I remembered that I had had a lockup at the end of my prior flig…

While flying flightplanned route, the plane appears to vear off course even though I have it programmed. Hi All,I recently got hold of the ITVV Virgin Atlantic 747-400 DVD and have found it to be brilliant. I'm considering getting the ITVV Cathay Pacific 747-400 DVD also but was wondering first if anyone here had both. Is it worth getting the Cathay one as well? Or is there a lot of overlap between the two?I wonder if PMDG refered to either of these DVDs in the development of the Queen?Cheers,Mark

FolksI recently purchased a copy of 737 NG. After installing it into FS2004 i get the following message on running FS2004 and then FS2004 promtly crashes."The version of FS2004 is not compatable with FSUIPC it is build 9.01.40901. You need the correct version of FS2004.Build should be 9.00.30612"Can anyone help me with this both FS2004 and 737NG are less than two weeks old so they should be up to date.Look forward to your comments.RegardsDarren Abbott

Waldo,Did you reinstall any PSS products after the PMDG one? If so move or rename the FSUIPC.KEY file in your %FS-ROOT%MODULES folder. And let the add-ons rebuild their registration entries. If you have a registered version of FSUIPC you might have to re-register it again.Hope it helps,

I know what Com1 channel is for, and nav1 and nav2, but when would you use Com2 channel? When I fly vatsim, I presume i am always communicating on VHF Com1.ThanksRenzo Nicoletti

Hello all,I am using the 737-800/900 PMDG software on MSFS 2004. I am interested in the taxi behaviour when the aircraft is at idle throttle.I am told that in a real aircraft:1) The 737 will break away and begin taxi at idle throttle (this may depend on the payload/fuel weight).2) The 737 will maintain taxi speed (assume approx 20 knots) with idle throttle.Reference: http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=77326&page=I am seeing in the simulator:1) Idle throttle is about 20.3% N1.
