Hi,here is one question I didn`t find answered in the FM:Can you say to me where I can found the knob to activate the TOGA for the Takeoff? I only found "...Press the Top left "screw" of the MCP this will activate the TOGA"But I cannot see such a knob/screw which activates the TOGA for TO at the MCP...Many thanks in advance...:)GreetingsSusan

I have a question regarding the download and CD versions of the PMDG aircraft. What is the difference between the two? I presume that software-wise the two are identical, and that functionality between them is also identical.However, I have seen on some websites (such as www.pcaviator.com) that the CD version includes a printed manual? Is this a printed version of the flight operations and systems manuals, or merely a printed version of an "installation and getting started" type manual? The price of the CD version is usually a few dollars higher than the download version although if it came with full printed manuals I would really consider paying the extra few dollars…

Hi I just re-installed on a new PC and although had no problems I realised that I did not install the update for the VC. This I downloaded and installed but still am unable to use the VC as a clickable option.I have also installed v1.1 and attempted to install v1.3 but had an error when installing this. The error said that the PMDG /737 MAIN GAU is not a valid version and will not be updated. Can anyone help me with this?Thanks Maddon

Hi,after I upgraded to PMDG -800,900 I tried some programming the FMC. Then suddenly sometimes all, sometimes some screens of the cockpit like PFD, ND or the engine display become totaly black and *absolutely no(!)* data is been shown there...I have to save the flight into FS2K4 and reload it afterwards...Is that a known bug after upgrading from PMDG 600/700 to 800/900? Before I upgraded I used the 1.3 Version of 600/700...after upgrading I patched the 800/900 serie with the corresponding service pack 1.Thanks for your help in advance...:)GreetingsSusan

I have one question about FMC in PMDG737 (with both -600/-700 and -800/-900 addons). Before takeoff my FMC shows fuel at destination for example about 3.5 (which in the end is the right number). At the top of climb FMC still shows the right number, but always after about 5 minutes of cruise flight FMC shows fuel at destination 0.0 and this number shows me nearly whole flight. About 30 minutes before the top of descent FMC shows again the right number (those 3.5). Is it normal? - where is the problem? Avarage route winds number in the FMC is exactly the same what calculates me ActiveSky 2004, cost index 40. thank you for your helpMartin Olsovsky

I want to place the copy of the pmdg proud supprtor on my signature for all my post on avsim. I have posted a message there but the responce was I needed a host site for the pic to use as my signature. What I am after is after each post or comment I make is for the PMDG banner rto be included w/o having to make an attachment eac time. Can somone please tell how to do this. I like the 1900D best if there is a plane specific banner. But look forward to getting to know the other planes as well.I really appreciate any help.mark.

Hi,now, after installing PMDG737-600, -700 (Version 1.3), -800,-900 (Service Update 1) and active-camera (registered)I want to use the active-camera internal view of the virtual cabin of the -700,800 or -900.But no way! Everything I try is so far without any success...I`m using FS2004, FSUIPC (3.48 registered)...here is what I tried: I`m choosing the "Virtual *+* Cabin" of one of the PMDG-aircrafts. Then I am switching to the Virtual-cockpit of the PMDG aircraft and after that I enable the internal cabin view.Then I press the key-combo for walking forward, backward etc, which I defined in the Active-Camera Keyassignment menu before due to a keystroke-conflict with WinXP-K…

Hi,I just started flying the PDMG737-700 (before: Dreamfleet 737). Now I`ve some heavy problems with the *autopilot* of the PDMG737:My goal ist to fly the plane in autopilot-mode but *without* using the Flight Managment System (FMS). Well, I am taking-off manually and at 1000ft AGL I switch on the HDG-selector -> Nothing happens, the plane does not fly towards the desired heading. 1) Then I switch on the CMD-A AP-Button and then "it" happens:The PMDG suddenly climbs from on second to another with +5000ft/min or more!!! Of course that leads to a deadly stall...The only solution is to switch off the CMD-A AP Button -> Then the bird stops that strange behavour but I a…

Hi,I`ve that problem:After installing the PMDG-800/900 my cockpit of the "old" PMDG-700 has changed and looks differents concerning the layout of instruments etc...I would like to fly the B737-600,700 still the old "classic" style (as it looked *before* installing the 800/900.So my question: Is there a way to switch over to the *"Classic"* (the way it looked before the upgrade) cockpit style of the 600,700 or do I have to deinstall the 800/900?Many thanks in advance...:) :)GreetingsSusan

hi allis it just me or do other people have problems seeing the runway on final in VC mode?i find that the planes nose is pitched up so high that i cant see the runway in VC, i have to go to 2D mode to see the runway, it looks ok in 2D mode however in VC mode i cannot see the runway on finals.

Recently, when i select the NG737, and click ok to go to the main menu, the Airac loads at a extremly slow pace as opposed to its regular 13-30 seconds. And i say slow meaning 10 min on a good day.Has any one else had this problem? How can it be corrected for the nav database to load faster?Thanks :-wave

Hi,as a fan of the more technical aspects of flying large airliners, the information trickling out about the forthcoming 744 has intrigued me to say the least. But I wonder if the more esoteric aspects of flying it will be modelled? For example, will the effects of braking on contaminated (wet) surfaces cause a reduction in efficiency, or harder braking cause a cumulative, time-delayed, build up of heat, with the possible effect of tyre-blowout? Yes, these sort of excruciatingly minute details do float my boat, but I did read in the latest preview on your 744 product page that you do try to incorporate suggestions, so please take this as merely that and no more.And thanks…

Good morning...I purchased the 737NG series (600-900) several weeks ago but have not tried to install them until last nigt [been reading :-) :-) ]!When I double-click either of the .exe files (PMDG_737_THE_NEXT_GENERATION and PMDG_737_NEXT_GEN_800_900) a DOS command window blinks open and closed and that's it! No error message or other action.File sizes are: 73,892,766 and 47,076,371 respectively.I am running XPProSP2, P4 3.0, 1GBRAM, FS2004.Suggestions... or solutions? Thanks.don mac

hi allis there a way to change the outside view from looking outside in the VC aircraft?i now only fly in VC mode and use active camera, ive got wing views as well, however at around 5000 feet the water or land looks a lot closer than it should be, also the front view,is there a means to change this, i read you can do this in 2D modebut what about in VC only?

Everytime i plan a flight ATC is always giving some lame directions. I have tried several things, putting all the intersections and waypoints in the FS9 flight planner and putting the altitudes from FS9 into the FMC but still I get different directions on what to do. I seems to me that FS9 does not use SIDs or STARs. Has anyone been able to collaborate both. Thanks

I know there are no dumb questions but I feel like this is close. There are a lot of references to AFCAD files and editing them. I know AFCAD are scenery files but how do you edit them? If there is a program for that where can I find it? I have searched AVSIM and found a lot of add-on files but no program. I remember something about FS2004 being different than FS2002Thanks in advance.

Hi,I`ve a problem concerning programming the FMC on my PMDG737-700:When I entered all necessary data (Origin, destination, FL, N1, Route legs, Perf etc.) there will be a kind of an "error-message" on the 2nd PAGR of the *PERF* Page (ACT Perf. Limits) that says:"Time error tolerance - 30 sec. at RTA Waypoint (WPT)"What does that error message exactly mean? I don`t understand what the FMC wanna say to me...:)So, first of all what is the RTA-WPT, what is the "problem" and finally of course what do I have to do in order to avoid that error message?Many thanks in advance! :)Have a great day...GreetingsSusan

Hi, it's my first post here. I'm using yours 737NG for like 2 months and I am very glad with it. Today I've updated Windows to SP2 (I'm a bit late, I know :]) and FSUIPC 3.48 and for my surprise, the plane isn`t working anymore. When I select it in the aircraft choose page and click OK, an error window pops up saying that FS was unable to load the aircraft and showing the name of the main gauge file. I've tried to switch back to FSUIPC 3.47 but it didn't do any good. Oh, almost forgot, I may have deleted some files in the main FS folder since I like to keep my FS folder really neat. Although I don't think this is the problem. Any help here? Thanks in advance.
