    Dear Sir,I have just installed the PMDG NG and 800/900, however, when using the 900, when I turn the panel lights, the panel is not viewed properly, for example, some warning lights go off, such as the drive warning light. Also, when starting the APU, although the low pressure light goes off, the APU EGT indicator does not move. Do I have to uninstall and install everything again? An early reply will be greatly appreciated.ThanksIvor

    I've written about this before and didn't solve the problem. I keep getting the above error message when I try to intercept the ILS. It doesn't seem to happen when I fly in the UK or in New Zealand but it always happens when I fly to/from Spain. It also only seems to happen when my flights are over 2 hrs long rather bizarrely. Also the radio frequencies lock and I can't re-tune them and I can't swap from standby to active frequency - the whole thing locks.The Approach page of the FMC shows the correct frequency and bearing and I've double checked the charts etc to make sure I'm using the right ILS frequencies.This only happens with the PMDG aircraft because if I swap t…

    Hi all,It would be highly understated of me to say that you guys are doing a fantastic job, but I will it say it anyway - you guys are doing a fantastic job!Nevertheless, I have never bought a PMDG product before so I cannot comment yet. I have however, bought some products from well-known commercial addon companies. Being an "audiophile" NO, its NOT what you think ;), I am extremely pleased with a really realistic soundset. Every other add on I have bought in the past has had extremely disappointing sounds, the only saving grace for these packages is really good FDE's and panels.     I'm still having some trouble managing the climb out phase of the NG in VNAV with total success. I often can engage VNAV fine, at say 2000 AGL, but I sometimes get kicked out of it by the first or second waypoint, at 3000 or 4000' and into CWS during a turn on LNAV. When I program a route, I observe that the FMC usually assigns or suggests speeds of 250 starting lower than I might have imagined and I often reduce those initial waypoint speeds to 210 or 230 as a result. The AP will hold those lower speeds successfully but then suddenly I find I'm off VNAV after having engaged it successfully. I switch to LVLCH then and usually am able to re-engage VNAV OK when I am goi…

    I have hunted about in the 737 manual but haven't found what I'm looking for.I want to use the destination runway as a Fix in the FMC Fix page. I have tried to enter the runway direct into the Fix boxes and line select the rwy but have met with failures. Using the runway as a fix is more accurate than using nearby nav aids etc. Will the 737 FMC perform this function or should I do something else?David

    I use FS Build to create a flight plan which I export to PMDG 737. I have the following questions regarding the flight plan.:1. When I activate the flight plan in FMC, I have to enter an altitude level in the PERF INIT page. I pick the highest altitude in the plan created by FS Build. However, when I check the way points in the FMC (legs pages) I note that the altitudes at the various way points, are different in the FMC than the altitude values created by FS Build. I also note that the speeds are also different.I am assuming that the reason for the difference between FS Build and FMC data, is that FMC is recalculating the data based on the particulars of the aircraf…

    Just a few questions, if I may (don't have to be answered if you decide its too much info before release)-Will the new 747 have soundsets with matching models and panels for all the engine variants?-If so, will they be cockpit perspective, passenger, or both? (reason I ask is because the 747 cockpit is very quiet - wind only, so some people may like to 'hear power' like the PAX do.-I know that only the upper deck is being modeled :(, but will we still be able to use Active Camera to pan down to the wings for a nice view?-And of course, must have 4x sim rate and pause at TOD, right?I look at the page everyday for that plane.

    In the PMDG 737-800/900 tutorial (EDDH - EDDM) found in the manual which comes with the product, it mentions in the 4rth paragraph of the "Descent" phase :"Tune the NDB to 426.5 (MIQ)..." I don't know how to tune the NDB and I don't even know what an NDB is. Can you great guys plese help me tune the NDB and explain what it does.In the next paragraph (the 5th paragraph of the "Descent" phase) it says:"We will fly a CAT 1 approach with an AUTOLAND.     Please contact me. I'm a new customer who recently purchased the 737-600/700 product. I did not realize that it was a download. After I purchased it on line I got a confirmation and saw "shipping charges $0.00 I thought I was getting a c/d.     Hey :) Something stupid happend yesterday. Shortly after take off a warning sign (Air Condition) came up. I looked up on the overhead panel and saw in the lower left corner the warning "Off Shed Descent". I have no idea what that means. I tried to find the right button to switch it off, but found nothing. Oh i forgotten to tell ya that this warning came up on the second flight. As I took off for the first flight this warning didn't come up. Maybe i ve forgotten to check something before i started the 2nd flight.Hope you guys can help me.Cheers DarkMind
