I've never yet been able to close the overhead panel of the NG by hitting "O" although I can open it by hitting "O" (!) I can only ever close the overhead panel by using the keyboard shortcut in any screen mode and whether or not it's set for undockability or not with my multi monitors.Any fix for closing the overhead by using the "O" button ?Thanks!Jonathan

Acc Manual I installed SID/STAR but on FMC there shows, at all airports, no SID (NONE).How can I fix this?Thanks for help.

One thing about the autopilot, and that is, why are there two? CMD A and CMD B. I know vaguely that you enable CMD B as well for ILS landings or something but thats it.In addition, why are there two CWS. ie CWS A and CWS B. I know what they do but what is the purpose for having 2?

i recently downloaded tim's tutorial V2 and there was a photo of his panel. i noticed the the digits on the autopilot where like on e.g. calculator where mine where solid blocks. The photos below shows the two panels. "panel" is tim's and "panel1" is mine. is it possible to change the digits like tim's? Both photos are from the 737-700 but I also have to 800/900 and the update to upgrade the 600/700 like the 8/9. I dont know if tim had these. also the text on tim's photo seems much sharper than on mine. I have noticed that text on my 737 is not every sharp. i have changed many settings on my card - Nvidia FX5200 at 1024 x 768 but i havnt noticed any difference. ThanksLuke

Well,look,I don`t why,but I have a problem,and it`s is that when I prepare to APP the autopilot,everytime sends me a little bit a way from the runway!!!Why....I ahve read a tutorial....about it and I`am doing everything write?!And could some of you give your ICQ or Skype adress,so I can call you to make a training flight and to explain me...!Thank you..It`s very bad....but what to do!And when I`am coming on visual approach,is there any way that FMC could navigate me straight to the runway,or I have to do this visualy??!!Please help me to solve this problem!

hi alli wanted to fly from ymml to YBCG tonight on VATSIM and i was at YMML programing mu 737/800 FMC for the ROONY3 Arrival into YBCG, however when i went to put it the intersections FIKUL CHOOK KERRI SAILA AND INDEE it said that the first 2 were like 6800NM's away!how? the only explanation i could give is that these intersections are only 7,9 and 3 NMs from each other, so it thought they were to close to be the ones? it didnt give me any options as well to choose as some intersections have similair names around the world,how can this be?

Hi ThereI have purchased the 737 600-700 some time ago now and recently purchased the 800-900 via download.My question is this...Is it any good my now buying the DVD Boxed 737 800-900 and if it is what will i gain over what i already have from the download i did some time ago?I thought the 800-900 was a update and you could only install it if you had the 600-700 version...Would i be right in saying this new boxed style add-on is a stand alone product (eg you dont need the 6/700 add on too)becuase if it is i know a few guys who will want to be buying this excellent product?Regards Paul

I've seen this question posted a few times, but have yet to see an answer to it. I've installed the base package (600/700) and patched it to the 1.3 version with no problems. The aircraft load and seem to work normally. However, after installing the 800/900 package I get a crash when I create a flight and select "fly now". As some others have stated, it goes to loading the flight and sits at 0%, then brings up a crash screen where I hit don't send on the error report and it dumps out. Again, the base models work normally until I install the new models, and then all of them crash in this fashion. Is something being updated when installing the 800/900 models that can crash …

Hello,Every body knows that when you click on the righthand message lights on the FMC you can use your PC keyboard to enter stuff in the FMC.All keys are working but I can't find to make the SPACE, +/- and the brightness control knob to work. Someone knows how?ThanksErik Wachters

Hello,I have found many topics on this subject, but I just cant seem to get BOTH of my engines to start. I have followed the guides step by step perfectly, but for some reason, only the left engine will start up, and the right engine wont. When i select GND for the right engine nothing happens..all fuel flow switches are on and I am stuck..what am i doing wrong??Regards,Stephen

I hope this has not been answered elsewhere on this forum. If it has I apologise.I have entered a route into the FMC and save it. Due to time constraints I do not complete the flight during one session of MSFS so I save the MSFS situation. Next time I fly I select the MSFS flight and it puts me back where I left off.But the FMC is empty. I can't find how to reload the route into the FMC. I can put the saved file name into the scratchpad but I cannot copy into 'Co Route' as the LSK is greyed out. I can copy the file into FLT No but this does not give me the legs. Is it possible to reload a FMC flight plan and start it part way through (i.e. from the current positi…

Well, this is un-bloody-believable: using Fs9 + FS9 patch on my new DELL XPS, the NG fails to re-set at all after a physical crash of the a/c just like on my older DELL 8200. It's exactly the same. I crash and the sim then crashes a few moments later after failing to re-set the NG situation at all.Until a few weeks ago, all was fine with the NG and it re-set normally. Now it doesn't. The screen goes black, some windows pop up for a millisecond on the black screen, and then Fs9 crashes.I've been asking myself if I installed anything that might have caused this. I can't imagine why or what though because it only happens with the NG--as on the 8200 machine. It's extreme…

Why does on the 900 model,doesn`t work the A/T engage system???I have the update 1.1,but onlq on it,the A/T autopilot can`t work why?On the 600/700 model it can,but on 900 it doesn`t want to...Are there any additional settings on FMC or somewhere in the panel...just explaine.?because it`s annoing me...When I click the A/T button it just splashes and then the a red light starts sparkling on the autopilot warning panel..???What to do,please help?!

Now that the Go-Flight Hardware is supported (via FSUIPC), I've been wanting to get some of their modules.But the bank balance is a little low at the moment (in spite of the generosity of the 42 folks who've donated for the tutorial), so it's just been a wish.To experiment with the FSUIPC capabilities without spending much money, I went out and spent $40 on a Belkin Nostromo 52 game controller. Several instructors from my school have recently been hired by reginonals and they are informing us of the level of detailed understanding of the aircrafts required just for the first day of company ground school. I have also completed my first multi-engine ground school and the level of detailed for that class was intense just for a BE-76 Duchess. I've been searhcing for a thread about this but havnt found one. Are you all who use the PMDG 737 and forcefeedback satisfied with the force feedback? If not, what did you do to make it better. I dont want to pay 35 bucks for a program, b/c i know theres a trick you can do to the aircraft.cfg file i just cant remember what values to use. I looked up the aircraft.cfg and its FF section is the exact same as the default 737. On the B1900C though the FF works awesome and is very realistic in my opinion..i want the same for the 737NG/700/800thanks for your helpStephen
