Hello, I,m just a fledgling at this at the moment,and i seem to be missing the most important bit of programming the FMC..like how to get from A-B? I thought i would try a short flight from Luton (EGGW) to Manchester (EGCC), I,m fine up until the list of SIDS come up....which one do i choose? Is there charts i can access for more info....as taxiing around Luton Airport,with passengers running out of boiled sweets,gets a little bit embarrassing! Any Help..Cheers Dave Wanabe Pilot

Hi!!I am using the 737-700 in 2D view and the instrument panel is small. I can't even see the altimeter setting. I have the resolution set to 1024 X 860 and my monitor is 17".Is there something I am doing wrong?Also is there a way to set wing views from the plane so that when I hit for example, CTRL 4 or something like that it shows me the wing views?Thanks much in advance,Teo

Would it be possible to take the source for the Beech 1900C, and convert it into a Beech 350 King Air? From what I believe, the nose and engines are almost the same, along with the wings. its just the fuselage that needs changing. I am sure that most of the panel can stay the same. Of coarse though, a more executive cabin would have to be installed. Just a query...

Hi all,Notice distinct pauses or stutters <2 to 3 secs> when using FS9 replay [outside view] - daytime or nightime even and zoomed close or far and weather active or turned off - in normal 2d cockpit mode I am getting average of 20fps with pmdg 737 - which seems to present a fairly smooth environment while flying- thats even with most FS9 visual settings maxed out I have tried the recommended FS9 config file settings - but no change to the replay pauses. My hardware is reasonable - P4 3GHz / 1Gb Ram / ATI 9600 256 video card.Anyone got any ideas ?Use anti-virus but have tried the replay with it disabled and no difference.Am at a loss to understand thisCheers RogerEG…

I ask this because it seems like add-ons that use a lot of GDI+ (I can't think of any others that use them as much as the PMDG 737) have the worst FPS on my system. 2D/VC FPS is worse when I turn the battery on and the displays come alive. It is also worse when I use the zoom panel. Now, this isn't a new discovery for me because I've been using PMDG's 737 since it first came out and have always had bad FPS with it, but because I love it so much I have kept flying with it. The point of this post is that I am hoping in the future gauges will be less hardware intensive. Another annoying problem...When I assign a key or a joystick button to toggle the yaw damper (via Options>Controls>Assignments) it allows me to swithc the YD one and off on default planes only. In PMDG the YD switch on overhead does not move at all and does not change anything.As I am using PMDG for flying model only (I build home cockpit -> http://butik.ktm.net.pl/cockpit.htm) I do not want to use PMDG overhead for anything. Thus I should like to change the YD with a yoke button or keybord press. What is more - using the Project Magenta PMSystems software does not help at all. Moving the Yaw Damper switch on PM screen is not possible and does not change a thing.…

Flew on a real 737 from Tampa to NY KISP yesterday. As we broke out of the low cloud cover, the pilot filed a missed approach. The airport was right beneath us as we broke out of the clouds, & then he went full throttle & began to climb again. He came on the speakers & said that there was a sudden change in the wind which necessitated the missed approach.QUESTION - on the go around, we got the reciprocal end of the original runway. Is it normal to get another runway on a missed approach (or in this case, the opposite end of the original runway)? I thought we would just get the SAME runway and try again until we got the plane configured in a stable manner.…

Hey:I've rarely encountered problems with this product, but I had to take my PC in for a complete clean-up, and I've reinstalled a couple of things into the PC... FS9, PMDG 737, FS2Crew and the LDS767. At this point, I tried a flight... Did the cold and start, but now I see the whole electrical system off and it's not clickable. I can't turn on the battery, standby power, can't touch the lights... Can i just ask a quick question...is there anybody in these forums who as the CH Throttle Quadrant and as successfully programmed any....yes any auto pilot functions that actually operate in the PMDG 737NG?I have even asked PMDG who said they have changed alot of there buttons in the auto pilot and that it may be possible if i use FSUIPC..? Hello!I'm using CH Flight Sim Yoke USB (I will soon get a TQ too!), and I've assigned the prop-lever for spoilers. But, with the PMDG 737, the spoiler-lever won't go to ARM. When the lever on the yoke is fully forward, the spoilers is in down position, and when the lever is backward, the spoilers is UP, but I never get it in ARM! It always jump over ARM (both in air and on ground).Has anyone a solution for this??

This has inspired me to such an extent that I'm now building one of my own along the lines that E.W. with an Xkeys matrix board and 5" LCD display connected via Video out on the graphics port.I will off course only present the CDU display window on the LCD monitor since I have all the keys in hardware. The next question is how do I present the visual outputs that are on the CDU display e.g. The exec button that illuminates when enabled. There are other indications on the cdu keyboard as well...but the exec button is of a little concern…
