i read that the manual will be about 400 pages so im sure that what im asking will be included but just to make sure. will the manual have a detailed explanation of each system? like some manuals for other products just say, push ON for this and OFF for this, but dont really explain the system and what happens when u push it on or off. and another question, will it include limitations, like EGT, N2, N1, VIB, ect.? thanksAdam

HelloI am very new to these forums so please dont shoot me if i have asked a question that has already been asked before...(i did a search with no luck so here goes)I have just purchased a new USB Yoke,Pro pedals and the awsome Throttle quadrant...cost me an arm and a leg but they are absolutely awsome!This is the nearest i may get to actually flying a plane..it now feels so real its cool!But i suppose you guys on here already knew that anyway....My problem is that when i fly my Fav aircraft PMDG 737NG the flaps and gear buttons i have assigned to my throttle quadrant work fine but all the other buttons dont and when i switch on my master autopilot switch i can hear it in…

hi alli try to use 737 ng with the new squawkbox 3 on vatsim and each time i try to arm AT before take off it definitely stays off. theres an alarm blinking "AT prst" and i dont know what to do . Of course i can still have the auto pilot on but without speed control.i installed last fsuipc in modules recently.thanks for helpingJP:(

Hello Pilots,I have been using PMDG B737 NG for a while and recently the following occured: On the climb stage A/P is on and V/S (+1800f/m) is on as well. Than suddenly V/S is disconn and the plan goes into a steep descent (-4000-8000 f/m). This happen frequently specially after using the Alt+TAB. If I use N1+LVL CHG for climbe the same happen, LVL CHG will disengage and gous down with high f/m I reinstalled ver 1.3 again the problem still existing. Any idea why it happenes?? I tried searching for this, but had no luck. Is there anyway to change the faces of the two pilots in the cockpit? I would like to put a picture of my friend in there, but am not sure how. Any help will be appreciated.ThanksMatt

Hi there forum!Well,since April 14th Madrid Barajas airport has opened 2 new runways (33r/15l-36r/18l)which makes it one of the largest airports in Europe,if not the largest,in terms of aircraft movement and pax capacity.Of course, the new runways has new procedures,which are published in the AENA webpage, but, and here goes my request, in the Navdata.at webpage,there are no updates for this airport,so as to include them in the FMC database.Would be great if someone makes this update soon!!Bye and thanx!Joaquin perez LEMD

Hi there,I've just purchased my first PMDG products - the 737 series, after upgrading my pc. After the initial 600/700 series I purchased the 800/900 pack. Since installing the 800/900, each time I select the aircraft in the FS9 menue and then click OK - I get a little box pop-up which says 'Airac Data Base Loading', which then counts up and dissapears. Can anyone explain why it does this each time and is there something I should do to fix it? Also since installing the 800/900 I've been seeing problems with the FMC. When I select the destination airport and the runway I'm going to be landing on - it no longer provides the ILS info that was there before?If anyone has …

Hi there, I have been a way a while and have always been wanting to ask this question. I am happy computing the 737ng's FMC thanks to the tutorials, and was wondering if the up-coming queen of the skies uses the same FMC, or is it completely different? Also, what is an FMS?Many thanks. Keith

What is the exact procedure or what am i doing wrong, i did a alot of flights and they just don't want to deploy when armed.

Hello PMDG et al,Firstly I'd like to request an explanation as to why the thread titled "1900C beacon light problem", post number 78699 was deleted.I tried to reply to the thread to say that I had fixed the problem when I was given a thread missing error. The brake indicator light won't go out on the PMDG 737-700. It comes on with the parking brake or brake (.), but then it won't go out with repeated keypresses or button clicks. I am using CH virtual pilot PRO with the one button as a brake. All of these worked normally until just recently. Also using Thrustmaster rudder pedals (with no brakes). Any ideas?Thanks,Don Maxwell

Today I fired up the ole bird and everything looked good. HOWEVER, approaching altitude I would have thought I was a porpose(?).The ole gal would not hold or even settle on the correct altitude. Vs was all over along with the speed,naturally.I have NEVER had a problem with this before. I have ttried to search but do you realize how many "keywords" you'd have to try? Maybe I didn't get the right one.Any way, I would appreciate any thoughts on this.Thanks,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but having successfully started and stopped the engines a number of times, and played endlessly with the FMC I tried to fly on-line today.Engines started up fine - pushback etc. Then when I tried to taxi the engines stayed locked at about 20%. I figured it was me - disconnected. Shut down the engines and tried again off- line. Power came back and full throttle was available.Reconnected to SB3 and once again can't get beyond 20% or thereabouts. I guess I've missed soemthing obvious, but....Thanks.

Hi everybody,I try to mix ActiveSky 2004 (weather), FSBuild (flightplanning), RadarControl (ATC) and PMDG 737NG (aircraft with FMC) to get a god flightsim-experience. In order to make a flightplan in FSBuild you have to know the weather at your destination airport to decide if you must plan an alternate arrival airport or not (1 hour before to 1 hour after ETA, Ceiling less than 2000 feet, Visibility less than 3 statute miles)In order to make a good fuel calculation you have to know if there must be an alternate arrival airplan or not.So the flightplanning in FSBuild and the weather for your decisions for the flightplan is interdependendt. Hi!Since I bought Level-D's 767, I can't use my 737NG anymore. It causes a crash to desktop after loading. I've read somewhere that this error is caused by the 767. I also have installed FS2Crew, but it always worked fine ...Any idea what I could do besides reinstalling? Basically will the company even look into trying to get it to work, or will it be all redone? I'm really curious in this especially if i will invest in the 747 as well. I understand their may not be an fs 2006 but i mean any future release. I mean some add ons are for the sim it was designed for and thats it, you can only use it for that fs.On the other hand some insure looking into compatibility issues and will try to get it to work. Of course it all depends on the graphic engine if it will be the same. So where does pmdg stand??Thanks!

Hi, Just wondering whether I should also upload my flt plan to FS9 when using the FMC? It seems ATC tend to ignore things like approach & departure altitudes + SIDs and STARs. I have always flown 'older' aircraft upto now so have relied on ATC for navigation to a certain extent having 1st filed my plan but am really wondering how I should now approach this to get clearance etc at departure and arrival airports as the FMC is all new to me. Hi GuysBought the 1900C on March 30 and have not yet been able to get a successful download. I have been busy as my parents have moved into our home from Albuquerque to the Seattle area and I have been busy with the move. The download (5 times) would get to 99% and stop. Eventually the file handle was closed and attempting to open it resulted in a corrupt file. I had this happen occassionally in the past but it was very rare. I checked my security settings and all is where it should be. I can download zips all day from avsim etc with no problem. Does anyone know what causes this? I decided to add winzip trial as a last resort for .zip association but of course my download…

Hi, i am having a problem with fs. When i run it in fullscreen mode (which i have to because framerates suffer too much in window mode) whenever i right click, access the menu bar at the top, open a panel etc. etc. my screen flickers from flightsim to complete black several times before doing what i want it to do. I have tried mucking around with the resolutions - however, this does not work. It is quite minor, but one gets quite annoyed after a flight of this flickering.I have a Radeon 9600 Turbo, and i do not experience this problem with other games. HELP!

HelloI can't seem to find out how to start the 1900c from a cold and dark situation. There doesn't seem to be any APU or any way to give her power. Can anybody direct me to a checklist or just explain it so I can fly? I turn on the battery but can't figure out what to do next. thanks!
