Hi all.I have a question(I think I missed it in the manual). Is an engine startup with Ground Air possible in the PMDG 737,without starting up the APU that is?I recall reading somewhere about a procedure where the aircraft is supplied with ground air, thus starting up ENG1,and then by cross-bleed starting up ENG2.I have managed to start up ENG2 with Cross-bleed,but I always need to use the APU for ENG1 first.Any help would be appreciated.Thank you._______________________________Georgios Arkouzis http://www.ivao.org/data/images/flags/waving/small/GR.gif SX077http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg_______________________________

Does anyone know how to or have seen a download to bring the basic MFS GPS into the PMDG 737 panels. There is a blank button I was wondering how hard would it be to make it pull up the gps

I am an enthusiastic owner of the Beech 1900D and the 737 range. I downloaded the 1900C and fell for it completely. However it is the only aircraft in my entire stable that causes a crash to desktop every time. As a result of this CTD I have suspended my use of the plane. Has anyone experienced a similar problem? It could be a corrupted download so I will repeat the process if necessary. But if someone has experienced the problem and has a fix I would prefer that.

I have a strange problem that started after I installed SB3:Sometimes, but not always, when I switch to an active ATC frequency my FS locks up for 15 or 20 seconds. When it unlocks it runs less than 1 FPS. If I then switch back to an inactive freq, or switch to the other radio to an active ATC freq, all is fine. This problem occurs on both radios. Here are the specs: Intel 3.2, 2 gig ram, 256 mb Nvidia GeForce FX 5200, running FS9, SB3, and ActiveSky 2004, connected via cable modemAny ideas? Thanks,Gus WhiteWestWind AirlinesCommand Captain

Hello all,The time has come to really enjoy all of my pay ware aircraft. I am going to buy a BFG GeForce 6800 GT OC 256MB GDDR3 AGP Graphics Card. Before I make the final decision, I want to ask you 737NG drivers, how much of an improvement I will get with this card? Because right now all the computer will allow me to do is operate in 2D panel. If i even go to virtual cockpit im down to 5fps. Any advice will help. Oh and I have 768MB of Ram so im good thereThanks allKevin

I have purchased the Beechcraft B1900D, and after reading the documentation and tested the plane I need some helpIt's difficult (or even impossible) to read some of the text in the panel. Digits in the HSI is very difficult to read. The switches between the Pitot heat and flap indicator (external lights I think). The three switches at the right end is not possible to read at all.The checklistIf i follow the checklist I end up having the left conditioner at high idle and the right at low idle. Is this really correct? Shouldn't both be at low idle at takeoff? What is meant by 'Primary governors exercise at 1500 RPM'? Exactly what should I do?I am told to set the transponder …

When viewing the overhead panel, sometimes when I try clicking back to M or Z, it just wont go. I am forced to do Shift-5 to get the overhead away. I run two monitors and it may be linked to the docking of windows or something but it's rather annoying. Any one else experience this?-Forest

Aaron said on "737NG Fuel":>-----------, if you want real-life accuracy then you should monitor your fuel usage and shut off the center tank >pumps when you have 1000lbs in the tank. You should always have at least 1000lbs in the center tank to keep >the pumps submerged.>This is a new regulation to prevent the fuel pumps from overheating and igniting residual fumes in the tank, >which is suspected as the cause of the 747 that blew up over NY a few years back. However, PMDG 737NG's center tank fuel pumps don't work correctly.Although the center tank fuel pumps shut off, the center tank has been emptied first. Hi, sorry for asking here but I have sent two mails during the last week to PMDG through their contacts link and haven't received a reply.I have tried at least 7 times to buy and download to no avail. I always get the message: "Error 2: this transaction has been declined". My credit card company called me to make sure it was not credit card fraud because they had approved this transaction several times already. When I verified the transaction, they told me that this could be due to the fact that my credit card was not issued in the USA. I am sure that many shoppers buy from PMDG with cards issued outside the US. Everytime I tried to do it, my credit card company approved …

Hi GuysI wonder if some kind soul can help me with this problem. I have a CH Flightyoke which is calibrated perfectly for The PMDG 737 however I find the response from moving the throttles to the engines spooling up or down very slow compared to real life 737ng operations I have seen. The throttle gauges move smoothley with the throttle eg 40% but there must be a 3 second delay on the engines before they reach the throttle setting. This makes it very difficult getting the speed and thrust settings steady on a long visual approach.I hope its not another calibration problem or is there some thing somewhere I can change to make the engines more responsive. Thanks in AdvanceTon…

I have a question regarding the end of the second lesson when learning the FMC on a circuit from KTNT. At the end of the tutorial when coming into land it mentions programming both NAV with the ILS for runway 9. I do this but when selecting the second AP, CMD B, the 'flare' icon is not displayed on the CPD.Any ideas what could be causing this? I have checked all the tutorials in case I missed something but I cant spot anything I am doing wrong.ThanksGraham

Hi!Some days ago I upgraded my Windows XP Pro where FS9 runs on to SP1a. Now I am no longer able to load the 737 into FS9. Each time I select the 737 (no matter if 600, 700, 800 or 900), FS9 shows up an error message and identifies the main gauge file of the 737 as the process that caused the error and asks if I want to restart FS9 or send the error report to Microsoft. I did not install any addons in the last few weeks and I also did not change any configuration settings of FS9 or my PC. The only thing I changed was installing the service pack for Windows. Before that, the 737NG worked without any problems. Any advice on this?yours,Thorsten

I would like to follow a realistic schedule of a airline pilot for say southwest over a few days work. right now I have no idea and im just picking out routes by southwest but realisticly I know they follow some type of stipulations/hours ect and would say never do certain types routes maybe due to flight hours in a day ect.. If a real pilot could give me a realistic scenario for a southwest pilot over a few days then i could get an idea how to perform a realistic work schedule with my pmdg 737's. www.southwest.com has schedules but I have no way of knowing what routes a single crew would fly during a work day. a few days routes would give me an idea.. thanks

I have a few questions on the Beech 1900C:-Apart from using CTRL - E how do I start the engines.I cannot operate both propeller rpm levers together by dragging with the mouse between the two levers,I know CTRL - F2 and F3 are the key equivalent but I would prefer to use the levers.I find the GPS too small to read properly, is there anyway to temporarily resize it without resizing the half the control panel. With PMDG 737 you can resize just the FMS for example.ThanksGlen

  22. The base 1900C textures look good and load fine when going into spot view or wing views, but the addon textures I've downloaded at your site are all clumsy and causing pauses and stutters when loading. Is there any way you can give us better addon textures, more like your default ones?Lee
