Pervading this forum is the frustration of many who yearn for the Queen and are reprimanded for their impatience. Therefore I promise the following: I will buy the desktop model when the 747 is released, and not before.

Hi,I have sent 4 emails to PMDG support requesting a new download link for the B1900D which I lost when my PC had a catastrophic crash recently. I bought the original in June 2004.I have had no acknowledgement from anyone at PMDG and I therefore consider the level of service from this company to be pretty low!Any help please?Paul White

I know there are a lot of gripes on the forum about the 747 and this might sound like a re-hash of those gripes. But PMDG could ease this by giving a monthly update on their progress and their set-backs. We all know the product will be outstanding when it

I have been using the 737NG and 800-900 aircraft for over a year and suddenly they will not load! I updated windows with their service packs last night, and now when I try to load the PMDG aircraft, the sim locks up. It displays the AIRAC Database Loading message, but the information never loads and the sim locks. This happens when I load the aircraft after starting the sim using the Cessna (I use the FSCREW2 program and this is the required method to start that program). If I try to load the aircraft from the create a flight screen, it loads the AIRAC info, but crashes to the desktop when I click fly now. Any ideas? I don't want to have to repay for a programs I al…

Hi there... Idea for a new threadHow about us virtual flyers posting our personal favourite and challenging approaches/scenarios (offset ILS's/challenging terrain/ good scenery etc..)That way others can try them and decide whether the person posting them is a a cool flying man or a nervous flying mouse! One of my personal favourites still has to be a hand flown visual approach with my PMDG737 into RWY13 at VHHX (Hong Kong Intl.Old) sadly no navaids anymore. The NDB's still work tho', and VHHX is still in the FMC database. With a 1 mile RWY EXT point and the ADF it's still fun and difficult. Also I have found that flying around in this part of the world (asia) the FMC RWY he…

IN SB2.3 we used AIBridge to see online traffic, in SB3 I am reading that it has a built in traffic generator that works with FSUIPC and the use of AIBRIDGE is not needed! I have used AIbridge and been successful seeing online traffic, I have yet to see traffic not using AIBRIDGE with traffic in the area, does anyone know for sure if AIBRIDGE has to be used with the TCAS system on the PMDG aircraft when using SB3?Mark Tolkacz

Marc,I took this survey but found it strange. Why repeat the same identical question 3 times?. Also since this survey was designed by academics I was expecting more ingenuity. For example they could show us 3 different cabins (say computer generated) of 3 different low-cost airlines with different amenities, different pricing and then ask questions which one would you prefer, etc. It would not only be more fun but collected data would be more precise.Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2

I haven't seen much chatter about the MD-11. I am one who is thinking that it is a candidate for my heavy jet slot in my fleet. I may get both the 747 and the MD-11, but the MD-11 for sure!I love the B1900's and fly them often.Regards - Steve

I noticed in the front page shot, there is a forklift and boxes next to the plane. Is there a command to get this to show? Or is it not actually part of the plane? if it isnt, where is that scenery?I know silly question, but I love the sense of realism, doing a walk around the plane early in the morning, as it is being loaded before its flight. Thanks,SaVas

I went to the Beech web site and looked up the spec's for both planes and saw the different IAS listed for both. I wanted to know if this is also reflected with these to payware Beech planes. By the way I have the 1900D and was wanting to know accurate these models where in the sim. Ie... is there a speed difference, field performance (this was a very small difference on the Beech (raytheon) web site. I hope the two models reflect the different (although small) spec's.Thanks.

Hi All 747-400 fansIs there anyone around this forum that knows how the CRS value are set in the 747-400. I guess when you have the ND in MAP or PLAN mode there arent any visible cues to the CRS settting. I have read in the real flightmanual that the CRS is set through the CDU. I havnt stumpeled upon the exact page where this is done so does anyone have a clue? Maybe the PS1 afficiandos has that clue?Best regardsMichael

The PMDG aircraft are all fairly accurately represented in the Aircraft list for FSBuild. What's missing is the B737-600. I could manually build the .prf file if I could find the detailed tables of performace data required. This info is VERY hard to find though. Almost secretive it seems...Has somebody already reworked the 737 600-900 series in FSBuild for PMDG? If so, how can I find those performance files to add-in.Also, the performace data is great, but how do I account for changes in the COST INDEX. Obviously changing the CI in the FMS will change fuel burn but that wont be reflected in the NAV LOG printout based on the hard performace figures. Anybody found a way aro…

Hey all,I'm having a problem regarding my autolands and it started oinly recently after I reinstalled FS9.Basically, after setting up the aircraft for autoland by tuning both nav radios to the ILS frequency and arming the approach mode via MCP and selecting both autopilots ON, I still get on my annunciator the yellow SINGLE CHANNEL annunciation, even though the autopilot follows the ILS down to the runway and flares flawlessly. Could it be a problem with the gauge (my PFD that is)? Thanks in advance for the help,Victorhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg

Hi all,I am having a really annoying yet basic problem. When I create a flight plan with a STAR for an ILS app the plan always has me intercepting the ILS @ about 3-5 dme from the runway @ about 2000-3000ft. I thought the standard length for a final is 10nm, so why is it giving me a 5 nm final? I'm assuming here that the FMC can work out a correct intercept path. At the moment I have to vector myself to allow enough distance for a DME. I would be grateful if someone could point out what I might be forgetting to do.ThanksLuke

Well the time has finally come for me to start building my new computer. I really dont want to shell out 1200 dollars at once though so I am planning on first buying a new case, transferring everything from my old computer into the new case, and then replace all of the components over the next few months. Does this seem like a good idea to you guys or would it be better to do it all at once? Also what components would you reccomend so that my 737 and eventually 747 from PMDG run smooth? Thanks,Matt
