Thanks for a great product; I really enjoy flying this bird!I planned some new routes after downloading and installing the latest AIRAC 0504 from the Navdata site. I also got all the SIDS/STARS from Terry's site. First, planning a flight from Nashville Tennessee to Baltimore Maryland the FMC would not recognize jet route J42 from BNA to Beckley BKW. I did a direct OK, but was wondering why the J42 would not work.Second, planning a flight from Liverpool to Amsterdam EHAM, the FMS returned an error, "EHAM err; KAG unknown" That was really strange! Maybe my database is corrupted or something. Anyone have any thoughts on what I might have done wrong with these plans?Than…

Does anybody flying for a virtual airline use an add-on ACARS system with the PMDG NG?If so, which one, and how do you like it?THIS IS NOT A COMMENT ON THE EXISTING LIMITED ACARS IN THE CURRENT PMDG NG - I'M GLAD THEY SHIPPED THE PRODUCT WHEN THEY DID AND DIDN'T DELAY IT TO PERFECT THE ACARS (OR INS).

There are several web sites that have live ATC feed.I like to listen to Sky Harbor at Phoenix, Arizona.http://www.azcentral.com/news/scanner.htmlScroll down to the "click here" under Sky Harbor. It adds an element of realism while flying. There was an interesting event the other day. The ground controller is not able to see all the gates and a mix-up was happening. Pilots were calling in for instruction and the controller did not know where they all were. So he issued the clearance -"You guys sort it out yourself. Just don't run into each other"

I purchased the 737NG about 2 weeks ago. Enjoyed it so much I also bought the 737800-900.Just have one question. I use 2d panels when flying. Your product page for the Beechcraft shows photographic 2d interior views. Just curious as to why you did not include this feature for the 737?Just my personal opinion, but it would make a great product perfect.Alex

I was thinking of making a FsBuild2 .tld file for the PMDG 737s. No problem - the manual is chock full of tables for landing and take-off settings. Wait... hey, where is the Vref stuff?A quick google does not seem to indicate anything about setting the Vref aside from consulting the FMC for values. That can't be true in RL, a pilot should have something in case of systems failure to use.Of course it would be cool if PDMG could cobble up the performance data file for FsBuild to incorporate - but I know they're a bit busy right now. It would be nice if someone could supply the Vref tables for the NG series though - would be useful for those of us who like to hand-fly a land…

I have been a PMDG user for a while now. Now I would like to do some key and button assignment using FSUIPC. Whith my add-on from PMDG there is already a limited version of FSUIPC present. Each time I try to open the module in FS9 it asks for registration. This while the PMDG-site (FAQ) states that no action of the user is needed. So I don't know how I can use the FSUIPC (already inside add-on). Even if I have'to enter a key, I can't find it on the package. Can anyone tell me?Remco van Ingen

Hello:I posted this on the GoFlight forum and was advised to post it here also. Apparently (and I am NO expert) the reason why GoFlight modules are buggy with the PMDG 737 is that the code has to be written by PMDG and not GoFlight. As I just said this is what I have been told - nothing else.If it is a PMDG job, then perhaps PMDG can give consideration to linking all their aircraft to GoFlight instrumentation (B1900D already is OK as it's using the FS9 auto pilot) - charge for it if you want to - I'm happy to pay. GoFlight has told me they would be happy to work with PMDG to configure things so that everything works together as a package. Thanks........IainMessage post…

Hello:I am flying the B1900C at the moment and I note that the ILS cross hairs are hardly noticeable when making an ILS approach, even with the main gauges magnifiedIs this normal? Perhaps there is something I am not doing correctly? Thanks

I know at first this may not seem to pertain to PMDG being here in their forum, but actually this WILL pertain as this request is specifically for their upcoming 747 . . . . I need to know if anyone knows where to find the artwork that was used to create Air New Zealand's LOTR schemes for the sides of their aircraft. I need the original artwork -- photos of the AC will not cut it because when I go to repaint the 747 I'll never get it to look right with the photos that I have. With photos the windows, wings, etc. all get in the way.As soon as I can find this work i will also be doing the PSS A320. Someone else already did the LDS 767, so i figured I would rise to the ch…

Hey guys!! I don't know if you've heard of this before but everytime I have my 737-700 or 800 parked at the airport and turn on the panel light at night, the panel flickers completely every 10 seconds. It's very annoying and I was wondering if there is a fix for this. When I am flying at night I usually don't get that much flickering but when I am on the ground the panel flickers every few seconds. Please let me know if there is a fix for this. I have the latest video driver for my 128MB ATI RADEON card. Thanks much in advance,Teo

Simultaneous Close Parallel approaches have finally come to Cleveland Hopkins (12 May 05 / 05132 charts) and I'm wondering if there are any special procedures as far as the 737NG goes when flying an ILS/PRM or LDA/PRM? Primarily, should the RA's be turned off prior to intercepting the final approach course?Steve Perry

Hi all,Me and my dad are having some problems with the 737NG and some of the GoFlight modules. I don't know if anyone else has tried it but, has anyone got them to work with the PMDG 737NG?We haven't. Are they even compatible? We're running 737NG Version 1.3B (CD version, -600 and -700 models) and GoFlight GF-45 (Text display Radio stack), GF-T8 Toggle switches and GF-P8 Push button switches. Any info on how to get these to work? Thanks guys,s2k

A few days ago, I did an exparment with the PMDG 737. The exparment was I had to get from KATL-LFPG, and land with fuel. With a little playing with the weather, not much, I was able to get from KATL- Orly field after I realised it would take too long to go around, and I was on the glide slope for one of the runways at Orly. That is in Paris for those who don't know. I am expecting to get a letter from Delta Virtual Airlines Management about endangering the lives of Passengers.Just thought that you would find it interesting.
