I posted this before but did not get an answer to the problem issue.first how this has been setup, I had this issue so decided to try the fololowing to make sure of my facts, I uninstalled pmdg 737 800/900 from the uninstaller that came on the cdrom, I then uninstalled FS2004.I rebooted and defraged the drive, check the file system , then reinstalled fs2004 and pmdg fresh. I changed nothing just runing as it was installed, the issue was still there.the issue is this.when I attempt to move the elevator trim wheel I here a noise like a demented cash register and the trim moves forward a bit and then back. at this point all i have done is enter the aircraft I have not turne…

Why are the ciphers in the PMDG 737 ND Expanded Rose always standing upright, when rotating. In the real world Boeing NDs the bases of the ciphers always point to the centre of the rose (like PMDG has modelled it in the full rose modes).I

I've been following the discussion on the Squawkbox website forum about SB3 dropping off the modules menu when loading PMDG aircraft.Seems it's a known issue.Just wondering if anyone on this side of the problem has any suggestions or insight into why it happens with PMDG aircraft.I started having the problem after recently updating to SB3.03 andFSUIPC 3.48 with the 737NG 900.Ultimately, I'm just very curious. Just out of curiosity, are the system requirements for the B747 and MD-11 correct? I inquired about the new PSS B777/B757 requirements, and they told me they would be "about like the Concorde". When I looked those up, they were way out of my league. I hope the requirements for the new PSS planes are listed correctly. If they are, I can still look forward to the new planes without a computer upgrade.Meanwhile, I am enjoying the two B1900 packages very much.Regards - Steve

Hi all,I have now started doing longer trips in the fantastic 737. I did a flight which had a distance of 2000nm in the b737-800. I checked with the FMC that I had enough fuel (left & right tanks 100% and ctr 30%). On approach the two wing tanks were empty and the engines shutdown, so I quickly filled the left and right up again and restarted the engines (to land safely). I thought once the left and right tanks were depleted it should automatically switch to the ctr tank. What do I have to do to make sure that the centre tank is used?Thanks to anyone in advance for answering my rather dumb question,Luke

Hi. I've got quite annoying problem After installing the 800-900 series elevator trim is not accurate any more. Pressin the trim-up or trim-down button on my yoke moves the elevator trim a lot, just after a single hit. Normally you have to keep the trim button pressed for a long time to move appropriately.Now I am not able to set the trim correctly for horizontal flight or proper landing descent. I have sent two emails to the support email address since Monday 25th April and am yet to receive a reply.To summarize the content of the emails, I need to reinstall the PMDG NGs. I reformatted my HD. I just bought the 1900C today and all I can say is wow. I have the 737 complete series and the Level D 767. Im not much of a prop head but wanted something a little different and slightly less technology reliant. This is perfect, I was completely suprised and can not believe how much I enjoy flying it. Appreciate the great models PMDG, keep it up and you have one seriously loyal customer in me.

Hi, I am trying to create an export/import dll from Courseplanner(.adf) to PMDG(.rte).Would anybody know where I can find the RTE file format?I briefly looked at the RTE files and I see that they are in plain text so I guess, (hope), it would not be too hard to do.Courseplanner can import/export to the PLN format so, if there is a tool to import/export from RTE to PLN that would be also great.Many thanks.Florent

How do I, or how can I get rid of the spoiler sound effect as it is so loud it masks every other sound. If you press alt it still sounds. I would rather have no sound effect at all. The thing is every time I descend in VNAV I always get the message DRAG REQUIRED in the CDU.

HiI was flying from KLIT to KDFW using the default ATC on a vector to runway 35R at 2200ft, approximately 13 miles out I was vectored between and below the top of some radio towers. Interesting, but I have never had an approach like that before.Anyone have an idea how that happened?I had loaded Active Sky and FS Sky World. The flight plan was filed in route at FL330.

I just got the B1900c from PMDG and after about 1 min my whole computer shuts down everytime i use this panel. is B1900d required to use this product? i payed for it in whole and its legit..why is it causing my system to crash? any ideas??i get a message saying my system will shut down in 30 seconds and to save all informationany help is appriciated..thx

Hey Everyone,I am having problems with the PMDG 737-600/700 FMS. I have downloaded the latest AIRAC (0504) and PMDG_SIDSTARS_MOST_CURRENT. I installed the AIRAC first, then copied all the SIDS/STARS into the fs9/pmdg/sidstars folder. Now when I try and put in route information in the FMS, it gives errors for every airport i put in. For example:KJFK "err at FIX, line 112." KMCO "err at TRANSITION, line 126."KSLC "err at TRANSITION, line 138."KPIH "err at APPROACHES, line 49."Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.ThanksJD

I have just asked FDS forums if this CDU is compatible with PMDG models, as the driver has been provisionally coded for PM only. It is plug and play USB and is 600USD.

I have just bought PMDG 737 800/900 I have xp on my system and installed the following.flight sim 2004 the fs4 update the PMDG softwareI have been useing it quite a bit but am unable to worok out werther the following is a problem with the software or somthing I am doing wrong/misunderstanding.when I atempt to trim the elevators I here a sound but the trim moves in an iratic way no matter what I do.I did the following to prove the problem out.canceled all key and joystick assingments to the trim and then created new ones.checked the autopilot was offthe trim works fine in any other aircraft I select, any one offer me any clues on this?
