I am flying the NG 900 into Charlie Bravo weather theme with massive t-storm clouds and it's pouring suddenly at FL330. Is this possible? Rain at such a high altitude?!JonathanP.S. It just stopped as I entered clear air. Phew! But, still, rain at this alt ?

this may be dumb, but,Have any of you all ever burned out on FS?I don't know if is a true burn out, but, I know I fly verry little anymore. I am excited about the 747 that is we are soon to get.Just for some reason, I get off the ground and about 30 mins later I am off my PC. Perhaps it's due to me just flying off line?.I truly love the 737, and the lurning curve of it all.But perhaps I just need to fly online more.?I tryed flying online, and have been in many VA'S, but just cant find the one I fit into the best yet. And to be honest I am not always the easeyest person to get along with :

I have double bitmaps with the 738/739 panels with backlighting. For example, all the text along the top of the MCP is doubled. See the attachement.Doesn't happen without the night lighting and doesn't happen with the 736/737 panel.Thought I'd ask for ideas to fix before an uninstall.Thanks,Jim Harnes

To free up some resources this is very important with ati cards so it gets rid of some terrain blurs and the text and airline name and paint lines don't shake or dance on the exterior texture. Theory behind it is the textures are presently 32 bits without mips while on ati cards whatever texture has no mips it will not alias it, therefore saving it in dxt3 with mips helps alot.So if you did which textures did you convert from which folder??Thanks!

Simple question (I hope)about using the top down view Shift }. When I zoom out, the view suddenly rotates by 180 degrees and this is most confusing especially trying to orientate myself at an airport I'm not so familiar with. Is there any way of stopping it from doing that please.

Hello,I have a couple problems going on here.I remembered from when I first installed the 737-600/700 nearly two years ago that I had to do something special when I format my computer. I could not remember what to do or where it told me what to do so I searched this forum. I found that I had to use the removal tool and that is what I did. Now, when I re-installed the airplane I found what I had originally read and I realized that I never performed the transfer registration as indicated in the install notes. Okay I am sure that the wrong program here is the load manager for the 737 NG.When I completely UNload the 737NG, I get a ZFW of some 17k, but the freeware 737 fuel planner available on AVSIM has the base empty ZFW of the NG at 91k."Okay", I thought, may as well put this to the test.So I start FS9 and load the empty NG and use the FMC and -- whalaa -- 91k.Is there a reason why the load manager has the wrong weights? For the longest time I was calculating my fuel based on the load manager's weight readouts and always wondered why in the heck I kept getting "insufficient fuel" messages in my FMC when i thought I was calculating fuel correctly. Hello, recently purchased the 700 and 800 series 737 programs. I notice the ability to save the location for the defalt start up A/C, but I notice the FMC data and MCP data is lost. Is there any way to save all information?Thank You,JM

I was curious, are you guys going to simulate different guage readings for each engine? as far as i understand, the readings differ slightly for each engine, some may be the same, some are not. not absolutely nesessary but would be a nice touch.adam k

I did a search and found nothing on this but today (after not being in the PMDG 737-700 in a while, since I spend most of my time in the PMDG 737-800) I noticed that I was only getting 6 frames per second. I then went and turned everything down and still got 6 fps. I was becoming worried that my new computer was having problems so decided to get in the PMDG 737-800, but the opposite happend and I had 20 framerates which was looking for Any help on why the NG got poor FPS, but the -800 had great fps?ThanksChad Moore

I just purchased a New computer and when I try and fly any of the PMDG aircraft (737) The screen is jumpy like I was on an old PC or something. All other FS aircraft are working fine. I was wondering, will the new 747 be compatible with sim rates of up to 4x if not 8x? Just wondering because the developers of Level-D 767 had to include the compatibility in their patch because of people complaining they could not do long flights. Hey,I just checked out the 747 update, looks like it's going to be pretty awesome!! I'll definitely be getting it.I had one question - Will there be a Pan-Am livery? As far as I can tell, they never owned a -400, but I can't think of a 747 without also thinking of Pan-Am. It would be pretty awesome to fly some old Pan-Am routes in a -400.Just curious. There seem to be quite a few errors in the SID/STAR file for London Heathrow(from the 0405 cycle). When attempting to input EGLL as the Origin airport on the FMC Route Page, the FMC reported the following errors:EGLL err: CPT08 unknown, thenEGLL err: BNN12 unknownOn checking the SID/STAR file for EGLL, I found that both CPT08 and BNN12 were defined as NAVAIDS. I assumed(not sure if I'm right, though?) that these navigation entries should be defined as FIXes, and so I defined CPT08 accordingly, using the paper chart for SID CPT 5J When I reloaded the sim, I found that CPT08 had gone away, but I now had uncovered anothered error, LON02, as well as the remaining BNN12.Has an…
