    Hey, I haven't posted here in quite a long time. I am really enjoying flying the B737NG, and Both Beeches :) My continued support and admiration to the PMDG team, as always... I am sure that the upcoming B7474:QotS will be a huge success for the PMDG Company, but I have a small suggestion which may appear insignificant to most, and not add any functionality - but would aid many a painter. If the huge success of the PMDG 737NG has taught us anything, is that there is a huge aftermarket demand for repaints, and I see the same for the B7474:QotS.     Hello to the community......I am having difficulty finding out how Vrefs and flap settings are chosen for my 737-700. I know how to select them in the FMC but I do not understand how one is chosen over another. For instance, when do I choose landing at 40 flaps vs. 30 flaps vs. 25 flaps?Where does gross weight fit into the picture? Obviously a flaps 40 landing and Vref is slower than a flaps 25 but I am unclear as to when I should choose a flaps 25, etc. I can guess that shorter runways would dictate a slower approach so that a shorter landing roll would occur, but I am not sure about other factors. Are there any guidelines for visual type approaches where alot of maneuve…

    hi allthe last couple of times ive been flying PMDG 800 exclusively on VC, prior to takeoff my taxiway and landing lights work, however when i come into land i switch on the landing lights but there are none,when i go to external view i do see them coming out from the wings but there is no splash of light on the tarmac.can anyone help me on this?thx!

Yesterday however, I tried to fly a short route which I'm quite familiar with and ended up having problems.     Without going into great detail I downloaded and printed Metzinger's STL to Charlotte. Everything was fine until I reached the Departure page at which point nothing in my FMC matched his. As an example mine has 1/2 indicating two pages and his 1/6 indicating six pages. As all six are used in his I get lost. Further mine has Blues 2 Cards 4 Lindy 2 Ozark3 while his has five with addendum's after each such as Cards5.CAP. I tried going to Metzinger's site but it turns out to be Flyaway or something and no one seems to know what I'm talking about.     Hi,I`ve extreme difficulties to adjust my bank-angle when on MCP-HDG mode on my PMDG737-700.I think it must be the ring under the HDG-Selector knob, right? But when I try to change the *rate of turn* (=bank angle) let`s say from 10 to 25 degrees degrees by clicking at this ring I always change the HDG instead of the bank-angle!So do you guys have a tip how to change the bank angle (ring) *instead* of changing the heading knob?Many thanks! :)GreetingsSusan

    Hi!Do, or did you ever consider making the data printer of the 747-400 "real" und usable with an actual printer connected to the PC?     Hi,I don't seem to be able to get FS9 to track time changes correctly. Does anyone know if that's possible? I recall someone saying that FS9 doesn't track the changing zones as you move through the flight?I'm using ActiveSky which allows either system or FS9 - still no go.Anyone know? :-hmmm

    hi PMDGi was just wondering if you ever will upgrade your 737 fleet, its such a great aircraft to fly and it would be a shame to see time and technology leave it behind,i note on your 747 website that new technologies are being developed in it, like better VC performance, it is possible down the track that the 737 be updated to keep place with these technologies, i am not asking for dates or timeline just whether your company has thought of such a scheme?i for one would be willing to upgrade for a fee as i know this ac is excellent, infact the only one i fly in flight sim.rgds.

  14. htHi all, I have been having problems with autolands. When setting up the aircraft during descent for an autoland procedure in an ILS equipped airport, I proceed in the following way: I tune both nav radios to the ils freq, press the vor/loc button on the MCP and the aircraft faithfully captures the localizer. I then proceed with flap extensions speeding down to vref etc and when the Glideslope becomes alive I'm all set up and I press app on the MCP and then press the second autopilot command button (i.e if I were using CMD A for loc capture and descent I press CMD B as well for full autoland).   16. My 737NG gauges are missing from the panels. I am using FS9 with the update and the 737NG with it's update and FSUIPC v3.41; also tried FSUIPC 3.30; but gauges still missing.When I tried to check the panel.cfg's using FSPS I get an error saying FSUIPC v2.90 or later is required. Anyone know what could be wrong?

    Hi Guys,Just purchased the 737 on Sunday and its amazing!!! its so deep!!!Anyway I want to ask is TCAS Modeled? When I use test on the Transponder it does not appear on the ND (as a test) When I press the button on the EFIS the range rings show but no traffic does.Adding to this, when I access the PMDG Menu > styles, I only have one little area of options, no TCAS options.     After spending some time perusing the "latest news" about auto-deployment of the spoilers, I decided I would try and consolidate this information and compare it with what I've experienced in practice - in the event someone else comes along and reads this thread. Maybe this will prove useful to someone - maybe not. Your mileage may vary, but this was my experience:The PMDG '37 has modelled a micro-controller that overrides the default FS spoiler mechanics.     Ok im used to filing my flightplan with atc so I can get departure approval ect. How is this done with fmc? You put the flightplan in fmc but then what do you do just tell atc you want to depart from a certain runway? and what about atc on the other end when you landing? Im used to using atc for vectors ect. Right now im just using the default flight planner and just putting that info into fmc with sids,stars stuff and then using atc as normal. I have been loading up fs9's flightplans then imputting it into FMC but im not getting the full potential out of fmc , I know. My question is how are you interacting with atc without using default flightplanner?? thanks.

    Help please folks!No matter what wheather is set in FS9 I seem to get an overcast sky and thus suffer with performance (fps & stutters etc).   22. what do you guys do during a long flight like this any ideas? Hopefully i can complete the flight but i have this weird feeling ill sleep and land when i wake up lol.     Today I flew from EGLL to ENGM and I select High altitude airways in the flight planner. When coming to enter the waypoint after the route, the FMC will tell me invalid entry. What is meant by this? have the latest nav data, that is, 0505. I did the same route but VOR to VOR and I did not find any problems. ThanksIvor
