Please tell me you can put the gear lever in the OFF position in the VC. In the NG you could only do it in the 2d panel, and the VC would still show it in the UP position.Minor I know, but it is a part of the checklist and flying only from the VC it would make it impossible to complete!Thank you,

Just wanted to know what the beta-testers have noticed on take-off distance (I know weight plays a big role on this). Based on noraml/default loadings what is the take-off distance/roll?Thanks for any info:-)

I read in the financial times that Boeing are planning a new 737 Next Generation planned to be released in 2012. They also are considering a new 747 called the 747 Advanced. Just wondering if anyone else heard about this and also can you imagine what sort of technology will be in place by that time? They may not even need a pilot anymore!! :( Aaron

Hi,I have just started using the PMDG 737 600/700 add-on and i am having big problems when trying to engage the autopilot.I just want to start of with the introductory flight just to get to grips with the aircraft.Everything goes fine for a start and there i am sitting on the runway ready for takeoff, so i release the parking brake and click the TOGA switch and i go motoring down the runway, i am then told to ROTATE which i do, i climb steadily and retract the landing gear. When reaching 1000 ft i press 'Z' to engage the autopilot then i press LNAV and VNAV and this is where the problems begin.The MCP indicates to me that both LNAV and VNAV are on but then VNAV switches i…

Hello flightsimmers!Normaly I have not enough time to read instructions or fly complicate airplanes. But I like flying the 737 and so I try now to fly the 737-800/900 of PMDG. I think I do everything right, starting from cold and dark and everything is going well till short after take off. The FMC also is tuned for the flight. But if I active the autopilot in LNAV and VNAV the autopilot will shut off automatically after some minutes. The same is if I will fly the bird without the fmc only with the altitude and heading. I can only fly the 737 with hand - what have I done wrong???To stupid to fly????I like to fly the fantastic PMDG-737. Please help me - thanks !Regards,Udo

HiI saw in the post that you can xfer the DU's - when you display the EICAS on the ND, shouldn't the original EICAS page blank?I believe that's what happens on our aircraft.Cheers,Adrian

Hi all,This problem might have been covered so please excuse if so. I can have either the 600/700 installed on my machine or the 800/900 but not both together. This surprises me and I'm wondering what is wrong. With both installed when I go to the 2D cockpit of a 600 the engines are running but the instruments are blank as if cold and dark. Selecting the overhead immediately causes the panel to go completely black i.e no instruments or graphics visible at all although outside scenery is unaffected and side cockpit views are also intact.My system is Gigabyte K8 Triton mobo with AMD Athlon 64 3000+, a Geforce 6600GT card with 128Mb and 8 x AGP plus 1Gb of PC3200 DDR400 RAM.…

i once again ask if PMDG are modelling this, because my previous thread got no official response, and now many PMDG staff appear to be active... Is PMDG modelling an ER with the 744, and if not, will they maybe do one later, as an expansion?

Hi all,I don't know if any of you have experience this in the multiplayer in FS2004. My brother and I would sometimes fly on the multiplayer and we fly different aircrafts most of the time. Let's say I'm flying the PMDG Continental Airlines 737NG and my brother is flying an Eastern Airlines DC-9. I usually host the player and we're on a wireless network. When we get connected, my brother's plane is not being displayed as a DC-9 but is displayed as the PMDG Continental Airlines 737NG, the same aircraft I'm flying, but he's not flying the PMDG 737NG. I ran the Search key but I didnt find it.. soI Have de PMDG 737 600/700 V1.30, and In Fs window,in PMDG key, I can only see, "737NG" ,"Styles" and "About" menu. But I dont have a "OPTION" menu there.. is this right? for those of you that use multiple momitors and you move the psdestal and radios and the fmc to the other screen, can you resize the FMC because im having trouble doing that.it takes up half of the screen and i cannot resize it, all of the others will, am i doing somthing wrong.Thanks.............Camtech

Hey all,little thing, when the plane goes from day textures (in the cockpit) to night textures some of the VC textures dont switch over. Its the texture around the PFD, ND, EICAS etc, that main texture that surronds the main instruments, ill try and take a screenie soon.Any help appreciated!

I know pmdg always say the aircraft is not finished yet so what you see is not the final product so please dont pick holes in it, but all though i dont mean to offend i just wanted too point out some small details which immidiatly strike me as bieng innaccurate in the vc. Otherwise it looks magnificent so please dont get upset after all these comments are to help you.(just like feedback from the BETA testers) If they have already been taken in to account then please disregard them. Hello everyone,I have just purchased a AMD64 3000+ and ASUS K8V-X motherboard, i have 1.25GB of RAM and a GeForce Ti4200 64MB, in the next mounth or so i am going to buy a GeForce 6800LE 128MB, and 550W Silent Power Supply unit (my current is 220W at the mo). I am also running WinXP Pro 32bit, and i want to upgrade to WinXP Pro 64bit. What does it consist of, do i have to reformat my hardrive to be able to install it? and do i have to get 64bit drivers for all my other hardware (motherboard, graphics card etc...)?
