    Hey Have a problem with the 737 fuelplaner downloaded from PMDGs downloading area. When I try to start it the following message pops up: "This application has failed to start because MSVBVM60.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."Have downloaded a new one from PDMG, but I still have the same problem.Can someone help me. What should i do?Johan

    Hello Ben,I agree with you on flight dynamics being important. Its my pet thing too in FS2004 :)I am really pleased with the 744 flight dynamics at all ranges of aircraft weight and aircraft configuration. This pleasure is echoed by all the 744 pilots in the group.As you and I share the same priority, I dont think you will be disappointed as Im really pleased :)Jane-Rachel

    Hi!I bought the PMDG 737 Bext generation May 9th, and lost it after just 1 day due to 2 heavy disccrashes within 24 hours (both my data hdd and my mirror backup hdd). I have a receipt, and an order number, and PMDG has already taken the 39,99 $ from my VISA account here in Denmark, but they won't even answer my 3 support mails, where I ask to permission to download once more.Their download link expires in just 1 day, so that doesn't work.Alle other software distributors have helped my downloading all my lost program I have paid for, but not PMDG!What do I do?Peter Henrichsen, Denmark

    everytime i load up a cold and dark the right engine will not start, i tried everything the cutoff lever the cross air feed valve and nothings helping. i just got the addon a few days ago so its the newest version. can anybody help get this thing running for me i would appreciate it, thanks

    Like myself, I know there are several repaint artists dying to get our hands on the 747-400 and start painting away. Those of us that are already planning on doing some repaints would you feel free post your plans for future paints? We can use this thread like a "registry" and list repaints that we have planned and keep track of what's coming up and what's available.     I was wondering if the "Queen" will have a visible clock (GMT) in the 2d panel. Kinda missed it in 737NG as the clock displayed in VC shows local time. Nice to know time remaining to next waypoint. (would also be nice on 737NG a/c too!

    Gang,To quickly address questions posted in many threads.Its worth pointing out that in addition to the PMDG development team, the beta team has a very large component of airline pilots (yep 744) and Boeing engineers, in addition to seasoned simmers who beta tested the NG and learnt a lot during that process.So, to answer the questions on system accuracy from many of you, there has been an extremely intricate modelling of aircraft systems, the more you look, the more you find in the modelling.     HI,I have just had to abandon a flight and could not lift off due to a calibration problem with my joystick. After resetting my flight, I tried to find any gauge thats shows the movement of the control surfaces within the 737 but couldnt find anything.I have looked through the manual but still cannot find any mention of it.Is there a flying surface indicator gauge in the 737 at all?ThanksDrayton

    During the TGIF flyin ATC instructed me to hold at the ALDAN intersection after I already passed it. He forgot to tell me earlier so he gave me vectors to turn around safely and go back. Well the problem was the FMC (737-800) would not allow me to reenter that waypoint in the flight plan. I tried putting that waypoint at the top of the page in the FMC and even tried deleting the other waypoints (only two remained) to no avail.Anyone have any suggestions on how to get around something like this because I was basically in everyone's way at that point.     How do you guys incorporate this in your flights with live atc? It seems to me that it's great for your hardwired "programmed" route/alt/speeds, but as soon as atc get involved your nicely programmed route in the FMC would go to the pack! Okay, try to follow me here!For example, say I'm at FL330 ATC comes in before the estimated T/D as tells me to descend to FL210, okay I change ALT the MCP to FL210 and hit "descend now" on the FMC. 5-6mins later I'm at FL210, the FMC has caught up with projected altitudes and I'm hanging around at this alt longer than expected until I lose VNAV because it decides that "desc path not available"!I know you can change values in the FMC to s…

    I've never landed any Boeing a/c in VNAV. With the NG, I've always joined the LOC and dropped LNAV, and then captured the GS and dropped VNAV. This evening, however, I flew into KSFO 28L and let VNAV+LNAV handle it. I approached at the speed of my penultimate waypoint, IAS 155, which was too high and it exceeded the Vref speed of 138 by some margin; 138 was also written into the FMC for RW28L (or it got written in at some point on the approach, dropping from 155). But at 500 AGL (or rather, above water!), I disconnected the AP and hand flew her in because it seemed the SPD was not going lower than 155.   25. As part of my flight into KSFO today, I found that VNAV didn't behave nicely on approach from down to OSI (Woddside VOR). After passing DUXBY at 240/8000, VNAV did not descend me properly toward OSI; it dawdled in this segment of the descent, so to speak, and maintained a RoD of a mere -350 fpm instead of proceeding down smartly to 200/5000. I received no alerts anywhere on the FMC, or the PFD during this period. I could not figure it out. I finally hit FLCH and descended at an excessive -2300 fpm toward OSI and got a DRAG REQUIRED annunciation that I followed faithfully, and with judicious flap management as well, all went fine.
