Ok, so I am landing in a no wind situation most of the time but I do find that the 738 is just so easy to grease on. Holding it off seemingly only a few inches abover the pavement seems a breeze. Is this an accurate modelling of ground effect or is the package making me look good? Or is it really difficult to land and I am just very skillful? Feel free to tell me that it is the latter. I wonder if the 744 will be just as user friendly?By the way I don't use an AP coupled approach. I always hand fly it to touchdown from about 10Nm out and at about 3000ft AGL. Gerry

just a quick question: the gasper and humidifier - options on the 744 - and i noticed that pmdg have modelled them. What is their purpose? what do they do? etc. Can anyone explain this, or even provide a link to a page of 744 systems info? (and i have already checked the 744 manual which someone posted a while ago - there is nothing on either!)

Hi everybody, I'd like to ask if there's any chance of someone developing a Royal Australian Air Force Boeing 737-7ES Wedgetail as an add-on for the PMDG 737NG series? I think this aircraft would look superb on FS9 if done on the PMDG 737!!! Is anyone currently doing this? Thanks!

First let me tell you guys about my system. Right now I'm running a pentium 4 2.4GHZ, 512 ram and a Geforce 4 MX. Genttlemen:How does one select the correct SID or Star for a particular runway?I know that the PMDG manual (737NG 600-700) states to pick the runway first on the FMC and then go over to the left side (iL), and pick the first SID/STAR. However, I find that when following these instructions, I sometimes get an erradic route that makes no sense.I have tried looking at the SID STARS charts, but usually cannot pick one that seems to correspond to the runway I am using.Can anyone give me some simple advise on how to do this 1. On three occassions, I started the flight with about 2,000 lbs in each wing tank, and 8,000 lbs+ in the center tank. When the fuel ran out of the wing tanks, both engines cut out while in flight. I noted that the wing tanks were empty, but that there were 8,000+ lbs remaining in the center tank. 1. I thought that the fuel would flow automatically from the center tank to both engines. If this does not happen automatically, then how do I get the engines to draw from the center tank? Do I do something with the crossfeed switch on the Overhead Panel? If yes,what? Thank you.Stanner

I had the -600/700 and -800/900 installed on my other hard drive. I switched to a new computer and the PMDG files did not make it onto the external HD I used to hold some files.I sent a message to support but received no response (perhaps because of the recently announced spam problem?)so I am posting here hoping for some assistance.How can I obtain the files for the aircraft in order to download them to the new machine?Thanks,Roger Curtiss

Ha, I can't find the TO/GA button. I looked everywhere. I had this jet for ever and I never used this button. That means my take off's were not on N1.. Ha. And one more thing, What is a good N1 Setting for TAKEOFF, If I am not mistaken I thought it asks for a Number. Well thanks guys. This is for the 737 models. Can't wait till QUEEN. Hi there,Ive found something really strange..In LIEE (Cagliari Elmas Apt) we have CAG VOR (113.4) and CAG NDB (371), more or less D 4nm from each other.. now, If I tune nav1 on 113.4 I have 2 strange behaviours:1) the radial shown on the ND relative to the MCP COURSE, starts from CAG NDB, and NOT from CAG VOR (!!!).. easy to check: go to LIEE, set nav1 at 113.4, and put a FIX on the FMC at CAG 113.4, you'll see that the ND tracks the MCP COURSE from CAG NDB (371), and NOT from the VOR...2) the POS funcion in the EFIS panel dosnt work.. No radial is shown on the ND from plane to CAG VOR....needless to say, all this makes impossible to follow a normal SID.. (I have to use a…

On occassion, I am unable to engage the A/T Arm switch (Auto Throttle). I flip it on, but it immediately switches itself off! All other sections of the autopilot work well, LNAV AND VNAV,despite the fact the A/T is not engaging. This does not happen all the time, only on occassion.What causes this? Hi, I have installed the latest AIRAC cycle (0506) from navdata.at, and the most current SIDs/STARs from precisionmanuals.com. AIRAC cycle to FS9 main directory with automatic installer (and now all files are in correct location, I think: "Flight Simulator 9FMCWPNavData"). PMDG_Procedures_0506.zip found from PMDG_SIDSTARS_MOST_CURRENT.ZIP I installed to "Flight Simulator 9PMDGSIDSTARS". I have tried reinstall SID/STARS and AIRAC cycle several times..Still, when I try add an airport to my route, FMC gives errors like these:"err at FIX, line 126.""err at TRANSITION, line 111.""err at APPROACHES, line 88."Also, when i go to DEP/ARR page, there is not any SIDs/STARs available…

Hi all,I've just installed the SFSreen but I'm still not able to take any screen shots. The text says to press the "Print Screen key" but there is no Print Screen Key. Where would the Print Screen Key be at? I assume it would be somewhere in flight simulator and I do have the VBRUN600.dll. How do I take the screen shot if there's no key or button for me to click on? I've spent hours trying to find this problem. Can anyone give me more details about how to use the FSScreen program and what I may be doing wrong? The directions are in the readme file but I followed those directions exactly and I still don't see where I can take a screen shot in flight simulator.Ken.

My FS9 shuts down when trying to load any PMDG 737. I have downloaded the patches, tried changing the hardware settings, lowered the AI settings to zero, and finally reinstalled the program.My system has 3.2 intel, 2048MB ram, nvidia w/256 MB. Can anyone help me????????Thanks!Gene
