Is there a way of telling when you are passing the Outer Marker in the PMDG737-700.This is really helpful when flying online as ATC sometimes says maintain ???knots until outer marker.Any help appreciated, ThanksDavid

Hey all. A while back I posted here trying to get help in getting the 737 TCAS to work with online traffic form IVAO and I still haven;t been able to get it right. The TCAS works great when I'm flying online with VATSIM so I'm guessing that maybe it's got something to do with IVAO settings or fsuipc etc. I really don;t know. Hi ! i got a SID/STAR question. Will the Boeing 744 use the same kind of SID/STAR files as PMDG 737 NG?? If so is it possible to just use the 737ng SID/STAR files over at NAVDATA??. Or do we have to wait for new ones to made escpecilly got the 744??. Becuse if we do NAVDATA wont open again until 17 july. Not that i think itll be released before that lol im just saying:P.Best regards:Alexander

I'm very new to the amazing PMDG B737 - so when trying to enter a Route into the FMC I keep getting an 'error' message that says "Not Found in Database" or similar. The Airport is Heathrow, London EGLL - I have updated the SID/STARS Folder and the Waypoints Folder, so I must have done something wrong here. I searched the PMDG SID/STARS Folder but found no trace of EGLL, is it possible that this fairly well know airport has been 'passed over'? :)Could some kind person enlighten me, please?KenSomerset, England

i just bought a new hard drive and i'm in the process of reinstalling FS and all my add-ons .. i installed my original PMDG 737-600/700 file, then the SU1 .. i then wanted to install my 737-800 files, but the installer told me i had the wrong version (1.2 instead of 1.3) .. so i downloaded the 1.3 upgrade, but i get a message PMDG_NG_main.GAU is not a valid version (or something like that) .. i'm i missing something here?? anyone from PMDG can help me to get my beloved 737-800 back up in the air??thanx!!Jan van Hecke

I have changed my disk C.I've copied the old disk C patition with Partition Magic to a new disk and I've resized it to a new disk capacityFS is installed on disk D, about D nothing is changed.Now I get an error starting FS about PMDGOption.dll.I've correctly buy next gen and 800-900.I've tried to reinstall both with files I have downloaded from official site but the problem persist.Solution?Fabrizio

Need some help with downloading the latest cycle. I select the PIC-PMDG product vesion but I only get a few Kbytes and then it says it's complete. I have never had this happen before. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hello everyone, Yes, this is my first time and I wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem (B737-600 or 700 2D view):On startup during a night-time flight when the main panel shows up, the MCP panel blinks once and almost everything in it disappears. Then when I check the overhead all of the buttons and switches have disappeared. Some of the digital displays remain.Here is the interesting part, if I click where the panel lights are on the overhead and click on the lights to turn on and off everything returns, all the switches, knobs, etc. The MCP panel then lights up again with all the displays working properly.Anyone else seen this problem?

hi allPersonally I find it very useful to fly with a two monitor system. I found out, to place monitors above each other and place the upper one more distant and angulate the lower one gives a more relaxed flying, especially in finals. I have the instruments on the lower screen and outside view on the upper The little bit more distant placed monitor simulates a more realistic "outside" view and the ergonomic situation is more cockpit like than in monitors with side-by-side settings. Third the instruments and control elements have a better readability if a 17" or a 18" monitor is used, even in a single monitor setting with 21" monitors.For better impression have a look at …

will the 744 speedbrakes be using the same logic that the 737 800/900 did, or has PMDG developed a new one/redeveloped the existing one... Reason for this is because i sometimes have difficulty operating the speedbrakes in the 737, and i believe others reported problems also.

Can anyone help. When I attempt to program the FMC in the 737-800/900 arr/dep with the dep airport EHAM which is the code for Schipol I get an err message KAG unknown, although I know it is the correct code. Does anyone know how to fix this.
