Hello All,I have been using the 737-NG for some time now, and I was curious today if I could add the overhead panel to another 737NG panel I had which I use for a different plane. (Of course for personal use only!). Whenever I tried to add the window to the panel.cfg it would add, and try to load, but FS would crash. Can this be done or am I doing something wrong. Basically I just pasted the commands from the PMDG panel.cfg for the overhead panel, and pasted it into the other panel.cfg. (Changes made which were appropriate).I figured it was because the panel pieces were only made to work with the PMDG version and not with any other, but any help would be appreciated.T…

Hi, I have the PMDG 737NG and the PMDG 737 800/900. When I am landing, I hear all sounds from 2500 to 20, but I do not hear "10". What is the problem?

what do i do to make the 737NG aircraft fly from point A to point B, with the auto pilot? and how do i set it up for auto land? I am very confused with this someone please help! It is a lot diiferent then doing it with the GPS like with the defult fs2004 aircraft, And how do i use the on board computer?

I know I found the answer to this once before, but I've now seached for about an hour and can't find it again.Once you've completed a flight, how do you reset the NG's TOCWS (TakeOff Configuration Warning System) so that you don't get the alarm when you advance the throttles to fly another leg? It seems like it had to do with resetting the battery or something, but I can't figure it out. Jared Smith

I could not find a post on this subject. I have trouble landing all of my 737 Models,600,700,800,or 900.I get the approach set up nicely.Lined up on the localizer and glide slope,both Autopilots set to cmd then the aircraft starts to slow down,the autopilot applies trim to try to stay on the glideslope which it fails to do,then the second cmd light goes out and then I have to disconnect the Autothrottle and put in nose down trim to keep from stalling.Then I have to hand fly it to a landing.(that is if I catch it before it stalls. I saw a few posts about Station loadsand followed those suggestions but to no avail.

I constructed a Flight Plan in FS Navigator from Valencia LEVC to Gibraltar LXGB.I exported it into the 737-800 and used real weather which, today, is pretty cloudy over the Med.When approaching the mountains in the vicinity of Gibraltar the weather worsened to the point that I couldn't see the mountain tops. I knew I was on the correct flight path but my only clue to the height of the mountains were the indications given in the FS Nav Flight Plan and the warning voice informing me that we were getting below 2,500 feet over the mountain tops.To ensure a safe landing I consequently turned the weather off and flew with unlimited visibility.I assuume that can't be right but …

HiSometimes my autospoilers don't extend on touchdown, when landing with both autopilots engaged, in CMD/FLARE mode. I suspect this might be because my throttles aren't exactly at idle, as the z axis on my joystick (assigned to thrust levers) is a little dodgy. Could this be the right explanation, or am I barking up the wrong tree?Thanks

I have a notebook that is natively a wide screen (1440 x 900 (1.6 aspect ratio)). FS9 supports this as I have selected this resolution. I am running the PMDG 737 and have experienced a skewing of the instruments/panels. It really subtracts from the realism. Also, the FMC buttons (particularly the decimal point) need to be "clicked" lower in order to function.My question is, has PMDG addressed this resolution on the 747-400. It seems that it would be beneficial to take advantage of a larger horizontal dimension to include "more cockpit".

Hi, I was wondering whether PMDG has the intention to add the Satcom Antenna for the 747-400 model. As more and more airlines have it on their planes, I was wondering if PMDG can make it happen too. Thank you!Takamitsu

Hi,I just downloaded Nvidia's new driver for my Geforce 6800 card: version 77:72. After that, Fs2004 won't start anymore. Does anyone know the cause and solution of this problem?Thanks,Dirk

Folks,I would really appreciate some guidance here. I'd like to use either my CH Products USB Combat Stick or USB Yoke (the newer one) to control my PMDG 73NG aircraft.I'm not sure what the best settings within FS are, etc to provide the best overall feel/control. I have this strange problem lately with the 737NG.When on approach and after capturing the localizer, sometimes the plane will climb to capture the GS (when below) instead of staying level until the GS indicator drops down.App mode is on and altitude in HOLD mode.What could be causing this behaviour? It started after installing ASV with SU2 (thermals?).Any help would be great.

Hi,at the moment I am keeping busy with the Start-up sequence of the PMDG737 and the APU...and I have some questions concerning that item:1) Is it possible to start-up the B737 *without* the APU and if yes, how?Here is the situation: I powered the plane *only* with Ground-power while the APU was "off". Then I tried to start-up the engines but nothing happened.2) If it is not possible and APU-produced Bleed-air is strictly mandatory: Ho does a pilot start-up his/her plane when the APU is out-of-order and no a/c-mechanics are there (e.g. at a small airport in the middle of no-where)? :) :)I don`t think that the APU (bleed-air) is the only way to start-up an engine, doesn`t …

I am a bit confused as to what the APU and engine bleeds do and when they should be switched on and switched off in the start up procedure and why. The manuals don't really explain the purpose of things.ThanksRenzo Nicoletti

I am just back from Blackpool, having purchased FDC LIVE COCKPIT by Aerosoft,Austria scenery by Flugwerk and Flight One's ATR 72-500. All of which have been installed. Now on starting FS and using create a flight and selecting PMDG737-600, not using any of the new programmes. My plane appears, but none of the click points work and the MFD's are blank. If i do click on "O" the main panel dissappears and I am left withhalf a screen, if I select shift+F3 I alternate between 2 and 3 MFD's. I have tried to change aircraft but on returning the problem remains. Any ideas anybody?Ta in anticipationJohnty
