Hello all,I enjoy flying PMDG 737 but I have encountered a problem. After performing a missed approach, the FMC gives a No Active Route error message and refuses to finish the missed approach procedure. Further more, I am unable to load a new approach. How can I resolve this?-apurnicus

Guys, I need a bit of help. Can't see this has been asked before.I'm going to learn this FMC if it (or the wife) kills me!I'm a bit stuck on loading the, what do you call them, 'routes' between waypoints. I can load a series of waypoints easily in the FMC, down the right-hand side. However, I'm struggling a bit with the data loaded on the left whereby you can pick an airway (?) between waypoints. Does that make sense?I've looked at the 'MAP' in FS when creating a route, and there's thin lines all over the place, most with designators like K345 etc. However, when I enter this into the FMC on the left as a route between, say, two VOR's I constantly get the message NOT IN DA…

I eagerly await the new 747. I was wondering if there is an existing jet smoke/heat wave exhaust add-on out there I can use with the PMDG products and FS2004. I downloaded something a year or two ago from the avsim library but I lost two hard drives since then and now I can't seem to find that product in the avsim library anymore. Also looking for better quality contrails. I also had downloaded a fluffier looking contrail in the past. Are there any new files out there that would fill this niche?? Any help would be appreciated.:-zhelp

Hi!I`ve just upgraded to PMDG`S 800 & 900 version. In beforehand I`ve seen pictures of other PMDG`s where the navigation display shows other traffic (ai-planes). But I`ve haven`t seen any on my display yet. How do you make them visible on the display?

I should add that I did all the recommended steps outlined in the FAQ and searched the PMDG forum to find possible solutions. I have tried all of them except for the reinstall of FS. I tried to do that, but the only option I have when I insert the cd is to run or uninstall. Your FAQ says uninstall not necessary just install over the last copy. How does that work?I appologize if my tone seems off. I'm just back from a funeral and wanted a new toy to brighten my day.

This is a new one on me - I'm trying to set up the Advanced Flight Tutorial 1.01 by Timothy M. Metzzinger 2003. However, having got as far as the 'KSTL Departures' page of the FMC, I was greeted with 'No SIDS' and the error notice on the Scratchpad thus - "KSTL err: 31 rwy unknown". I was parked at the end of Rwy 24 at KSTL setting up the flight......naughty I know...but nobody else was there sooo! while the cats away.....! I checked in my Fs9/PMDG/SIDS/STARS Folder and found the KSTL .txt file, all Sids/Stars were shown. So I'm baffled. Can someone help me, please?KenSomerset, England

Hy to all,just a question...I start my FS9 and insert the real time...But FMC gives me a different time...For instance...I start at 14:55Z (real time) but when I go in the FMC "POS INIT" I get 17:52Z...Why?????WHat do I do wrong???In this manner I can't get to know in real Zulu time when I reach the intersections or destination(in PROG section..)?????Thanx

Hi,Lets make it easier for the PMDG team.Everybody that has something to say about the PFD, post here.It has been discussed more then once but PMDG maybe didn't see it.Actualy, the hole cockpit is just perfect except the PFD which is only for 90% real to the real one. Hi,in the last time I flew around sometimes and two spontaneous questions came to my mind:1) When I Push-Back from the gate at an airport with the PMDG the push-back direction is always straight-back. Is it possible (and if yes how?) that at some point of the straight-back pushback of the PMDG the push-back changes its direction to left or right so that I am able to face another direction when I am ready to taxi?2) To the overhead Panel of the PMDG: There are an on/off and auto selection for the "No-Smoking and Fasten Seatbelt" Signs. On/Off positions are clear but how does the *Auto" selection work? At which situations (or Altitudes) do the Seatbelt/Smoking signs switch …

Hello-Is there a way of getting surround sound to work correctly with PMDG 737 and surround sound 7.1? I've noticed that the engine sounds come out of the front channels as opposed to the side and rear channels (thus it sounds as if the engine are in front of the airplane. Perhaps this is a limitation of flight sim, or is there some setting I can do to fix this in the sound.cfg file.Thanks,Matt Fordwww.737sim.com

I bought the whole PMDG package 737 600 thru 900. To date, I have still not figured out how to start one cold, from the manual. I have spent hours going over the manuals and snooping the forums. I have just about every sim out there but this package really dissppoints me. Its realism, graphics or immerison, etc., are five stars! The add-on severely lacks for understandable manuals or tutorials. Clausen's PMDG's tutorial is a start, but shouldn't PMDG offer a more user-friendly set of "how-to's..." and "it's right here..."? For those of you who are better interpretative virtual pilots than me, I applaud you, but I will hesitate to buy anything further from PMDG...even …
