hello , has anyone had intermitant or non working Autopilot?I have had some trouble when clicking on the AP, and the ALT hold to get them to engage, is there something else that needs to be done to make them work, or could there be a software issue that could be causing the problem?ThanksZach Bender K7LTF

Hello Everyone,I just installed PMDG 737NG, and I must say it is awesome, still to learn some systems but it's great. I have some questions regarding PMDG 737NG1) Where can I download a SID package from EHAM ?? There are no SID's of EHAM installed in the FMC. I already installed the all in one package from the PMDG website, but now I only can select STAR's in the FMC but no SID's of EHAM.2) Sometimes I'm not in the mood to select the FMC, is it possible to fly a flightplan with FS Navigator using PMDG ??, already checked it, but it does not work, when I switch on FS NAvigator, the program runs, but it does not link to the autopilot of the PMDG cockpit, anyone have sugges…

Hi everybody,is there somebody who has experience with the 737 Mode Control Panel by CP Flight (offered by Simware)? For me it looks quite interesting to combine it with the PMDG 737s and to add the last piece of realism to these phantastic aircrafts - if possible.Best wishes,Wolfgang

Dear Beta Testers, I know that a lot of you are posting pictures of the PMDG 747 in this forum. Could some of you that are posting pictures list your spec of your computer and what your scenery settings are at and also if you have any other FS addons on your computer, like FS Roads, Ultimate Traffic, etc. I would like to no this because looking at the pictures it seems that you get many FPs. Departure SFO 28R ......... The N1 values have been modified to change according to some real 747 in flight tests. So if anyone was wondering they are not going to change "much in vlaue" and not very often (Unlike N2 values). I am very impressed to say the least! I only saw any N1 change once I started to climb, sorry it does not show here but you will notice! SFO FPS on the ground, boncing between 25-40 with much more in the air! Hi there:-wave Can i just start by wishing everyone a great weekend and also clarifying that i am not requesting or pressurising the team for a release date because they will release their product when they are happy with it;-) I am just wanting to ask a member of the team, presuming they have a spare minute, how will the release be coordinated. Hi,A few weeks ago the force feed back stopped working ONLY for the NG. Dunno if this started happening right after my upgrade to 737-800/900 ... It works fine with all other freeware or payware aircraft (Level-D 767, PSS Airbus A320/A330/340, PSS Dash-8) that I have. I have tried reinstalling ("remove" the joystick in hardware profiles) and also tried calibration.Any help would be appreciated.- NeerajPS: When does the Queen come out?

I did use the search function and found no topics on this but I'm sorry if this has already been discussed. I'm a long time looker just never posted and I must say that the queen is looking superb. The only question I'm having is does it have tiliting bogies. I know a few Freeware companys made them and LDS said the 767 does have them (but it's barely noticable) and I just think it would be great to see those 747 bogies tilt. -Konrad Dlugowski

Something for you all to look forward to:I just performed a CATIII autoland in the latest beta with a 17 knot crosswind and watched in utter amazement as the 744 AP kicked the rudder before touchdown to remove the crab angle. I do not believe I've seen this in an FS addon before.

Hello beta team, can I ask how smooth is the ADF tracking? Also I have never seen the amber max N1 line displayed on the upper EICAS yet. Does the PMDG744 have any form of flight envelope protection and can we program joystick/throttle buttons for the autopilot disconnect, for example? Paul(Anychance of some screenshots of the new "never been done before" features?)

First of all, I am sixteen and I have time before college. My number 1 concern is my math. I have never been smart in math but my dream seems to stay with aviation. I wont ever let that fail. When programming the FMC in my recently aquired PMDG B737-800/900 Series, I get the words = DATALINK underneath which is the criptic slogan 'NO COMM' see .jpg attached. I didn't notice this on the PMDG B737-600/900 Series. Can anyone tell me what this refers to, please?I am 'wading' through hundreds of pages of Manuals again (after doing the same with the 600/700's) :) but have not found any reference to 'No Comm' so far.KenSomerset, England

I've been experiencing a problem with the glideslope disconnecting on approach on all versions of the 737, 600-900. I installed Ultimate Traffic and soon after the problem started. The guys at UT said their product only effects the AI aircraft. Just before touchdown,between 1ooo and 500 feet the glideslope disconnects and the aircraft nose dives to the ground. This has never been a problem until recently.Any Ideas Anyone?

I wonder if any other 737NG user has experienced this. Sometimes when I operate the gear, up or down, visually it performs ok and I get the relevant cockpit indication. But the sound keeps repeating, on one occasion 6 or 7 times. This only happens with the gear sound. It is not just a PMDG thing - I get it with my F100 & F70 which has its own separate sound files. However it never happens with any of the default a/craft. Any ideas as to the cause?Iain

Hi I use a force feedback joystick and FS Force but upon landing it is very difficult to appreciate the forces on the aircraft at touch down. I regularly fly the NG737 for CPA virtual and all flight data is logged with FS Tracker. Sometimes landings are a bit bumpy others are what I would call 'good to very good'. My question is what would be the normal vertical landing speed of a typical B737, B757, B767 and B747 in - ft/min. The ACARS program records my typical landing at Vapp 134 of about -230ft/min.ThanksMike EGGP

Hello everyone, Well,i would appreciate if someone could help me to enter routes in fmc.I ve created flt pln with fs build 2 and i cant manage to enter the routes but only way points.Here s what i do:create flt pln from lfpo(Orly) to lfbd (Bordeaux) i first enter both sid an star.Star PTV9v ends at ptv and then i should fly to pirog way point which is on rte un 857 so i enter pirog on lsk right and get "direct" on lsk left then when i want to replace direct by un857 i get

1) Can we change the barometric setting on the standby altimeter?2) Will the PFD compass rose be altered so that the circle itself is narrower in width and taller in height?3) How accurate/complex are the failures. For example can a single gear/section of flap fail to extend and what information do the EICAS displays show in such conditions?4) From a previous post, how does one load fuel for a flight?5) Can some failures be fixed just by resetting a switch, like an AC bus failure?PaulP.S. I have the 737NG pack and on the autopilot column all the digits are abnormal. Its impossible o distinguish betweena a 0 and 8, these two numbers basically being squares. How can i fix this problem

Hi folks, Some yaers ago I had an FMC that worked with FS98, unfortunately I can't remember the name of it or it's author (apologies if he is reading this) it was a really good program and I spent hours using it. The program had a sort of interactive turorial that took you through it's operation, it highlighted the keys required while explaining what they did and would only move on when you had activated the required keys or entered the propper information. I found it a much better learning aid than waiding through pages of paper while trying to operate an active system. This is not a criticism of the PMDG manuals which I have found extremely inte…

Hi all...I tried the tutorial 737NG (800) flight that is on PMDG's website,. It is a flight from KDEN to KLAX. I have tried it several times, but I get a route disconinuity everytime. This is probably because I have to use a different approach (STAR) than the one in the tutorial (CIVET4), which has caused me alot of frustration due to the fact that I have downloaded the updated SID/STAR database (just did it last night- unzipped it into the SID/STAR folder of PMDG file in FS9....was that correct?) and several of the KLAX STARs are still missing. I followed ALL instructions to the letter in the tutorial, and even though I entered a different STAR than CIVET4, I still used …

When I do my autoland in the 737's I have to Touch the Aircraft down Manualy. Everything Is right. I mean both A/P's are exstinguished. I just don't know if this is correct. Does the Pilot Flare and touch the aircraft down manualy. The aircraft like lets me move it around at about 50 FT. I just don't understand.
