Alright well I'm stuck between 3 companys for the 6800GT. I have two questions.1. If I get say a XFX 6800GT can I install the drivers from the Nvidia site and will those work or do I have to download them from the XFX site.2. Which one would you recommend. A friend of mine said he would get the Elsa one and I would want to get the XFX one. For the past few years I've subscribed to flight explorer, a program that displays real time (-7 minutes or so) flights in the US. This personal addition did not allow access to the flight plans on commerial flights, just position.Today I got an email from them to upgrade to their new PILOTS addition ~15.00 USD a month. What turns out to great about this as a flight simmer is that it has the flight plans included. I've always been interested in flying the same routes the airlines fly on a givin day.Before starting this note, I highlighted Air France Flight 23 from KJFK to LFPG, the flight took off today at 5:25PM EDT. Hi AllThe PMDG 737NG has a very good captains + engines main panel that can be nicely stretched over 2 monitors, but what I am looking for is a full captain + engines + first officer panel that can be stretched over 3 monitors, to be precisely 3 x 1280x1024.So the question is, did anybody develop a matching first officers panel , or even better, a full captains + engines + first officers panel for the PMDG 737 NG ? And if so, could I get a copy of it ??The picture below shows the result of combing several panel parts of the F1 ATR to get a full captains + engines + first officer panel for that plane and I would love to get something alike with the PMDG 737NG.See you, Janh…

In creating a flight plan for Gatwick to Glasgow (EGPF), I got the following error message when I went to the Arr/Dep FMC page and clicked on the Arrival airport (EGPF) option. "EGPF err: xeus unknown"It also indicates that there are no STARS available.From the PMDG website, I loaded the lastes Nav data. Also from the PMDG website, I downloaded the SIDS STARS file for the Glasgow airport. These downloads were placed in the FS9 main folder in the PMDG Sids/Stars folder. Hello all,I have lurked here for probably a year now but have a somewhat itching question I would like to ask. I am creating a spreadsheet for flight planning (etc takeoff derates, fuel) etc., and was going to kind of base it around the PMDG 747. What I was wondering was if any of you had noticed what the fixed derates are in the FMC under the THRUST LIM page (eg TO1 or TO2)? None of you have probably noticed though, it such a small detail. Hi,I'm using the 738 in 2d panel mode.I have activated both the over/under mode and the PFD/ND panel setup. I triple checked this.However, when I right click the upper eicas nothing appears. No lower eicas at all. No matter where I click in the upper eicas window. Left clicking gives me the usual zoomed upper eicas window.What am I doing wrong? :-hmmm Thanks for your support,Bart

Dear Captains(as the PMDG people like to address us)(Heaven forbid most of us are just PC desk captains but anyway....)I am sure a lot of you have that delightful little utility called FS Passengers. Hi all,I've just installed the PMDG Beech 1900D. I load the aircraft sitting on the runway and advance the throttles. Shortly after taking off, my hard drive locks up and I have to restart the computer. The problem could be in my hard drive but I want to be sure. It hasn't done this any other time except when loading this aircraft. I'm going to try and load another aircraft and see if it still locks up my hard drive. The reason I say it locks up my hard drive is because I can hear it stop and makes a clicking or noise. I hope it's just in the insallation and I wanted to find out if any of you have had this problem, that is, the hard drive locks up and you cannot do anythi…

...and don't take me wrong now, my intention is not to criticize PMDG nor anyone else, but does my memory serve me right when I remember the 747 was first scheduled for release sometime last fall?If so, it will soon be one year since then (almost like MS and their Windows releases ;-) ) and I guess that means this a/c once released will really be something extra...I'm truely looking forward to it!!

I notice when i'm using the AP in HDG mode it seems to obey the bank angle limit. However in LNAV with the FMCwe always turn at a very steep angle.Feel free to flame if i'm doing something silly here! Pete

I have been doing most of my flying in the south-western United States, and I want to do some routes in different parts, or completely out of the US. Do you guys have any suggestions for exting routes? Anywhere would be find. A place with lots of weather would be even better!Thanks,Matt

I just downloaded a new 737 from ecommerence and it appears that I missed the time that was needed before the download expires. Now I have a debit from my credit card and no product. I have not recieved word by from customer support and I am becoming alittle nervous as this is not how most companies work. Please tell me wht I can do to expedite getting this link sent back to me?

At this moment, I can only fly the airplane following the Introductory Flight printed on the PMDG manual.I have difficulty in how to get information in putting the flight plan into the FMC. Hi all,I am wanting to fly as real as possible, including doing all the stuff they do in the real world, for the flight planning, loading the a/c etc, as at the moment i just put a rough amount in and go.Also the fmc I do not really know what value's to put in, in like cost index etc etc.Is there someone that can tell me where i need to go to find the documentation on this, so all the docs from start to finish, on route weather, takeoff weights etc then getting in the a/c??Thanks in advanceMarkyP
