PMDG General Forum

Have recently installed PMDG 737 800/900 and tried the quick set up to not very successfully. However this is my problem. I now cannot load Flight Simulator at all. Keep getting the message AIRCRAFT INITIATION FAILURE B737 600. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both flight simulator and pmdg. All to no avail. It seems the main Flight Sim. has lost a file. Can anyone suggest any ideas for this as I am at my wits end? Thanking you Charlie

I feel like a fool having to ask this about such a trivial thing, but I just had to do a complete reinstall of my FS. I have performed a few flights in my newly reinstalled 737 NG and am having a problem that I cannot seem to trace in either the PMDG manual, checklists, nor the 3 Boeing/Airline Specific manuals and checklists I have.It has to do with when i am coming in on approach. I get a warning on the panel about "Air Conditioning". I check the AC every time and everything looks like it is set right -- switches to "Auto", Bleeds on, packs on, no warning lights up there but the annunciator on the main panel lights up with "air conditioning" and I cannot seem to reso…

Would someone tell me the procedure for seeing multiplayers on the tcas please,,without using squawk box or vatsim.I can get it to work with the A1 planes no problem.I have had some limited success online,i do the test,then set the ta/ra ,then the tfc,rel,etc,then join a multiplayer game choosing a server from fs host,and enabling the A1bridge.What i don't understand is that if there is three or four players flying around the airport and i am on the ground and i have the tcas set to "above" i usually only see one of those players on the tcas?, and other times i am flying around and have another plane virtually next to me,but not showing up on the tcas? am i doing somethin…

Hello,We all like the beautiful beta pictures of the airframes/cockpits etc, but I'm my personal opinion, as a cockpit builder, the most important thing is that the B744 performance, aerodynamics and systems are correctly simulated and as close as it can to the real one.After what I saw in Blackpool, it's looks all very interesting and it was amazing to feel how the Queen was accelerating during take off. The heavy feeling was there.What about the fuelconsumption figures ? Are they following the real life flightplan figures (including headwinds - stepclimbs ?) How close are they comparing the real ones after a long haul flight of 12 hrs or a short 1 hr position flight …

I am very disappointed not to have seen any mention of the first class dinner menu so far. we have after all been in beta for several weeks now, yet not one mention! Of even more concern though, whether or not the captain definitely still has first choice? Will this be properly simulated on the final release? Will it also be in the manual?Not wanting to whinge about trivia I do however really feel the time has come for the beta testers to get their priorities right, highlighting and reporting things of significance. A quick question concerning the 744 vs. homebuolt sime cockpits.I expect that it might not be high on the list now but what are the future thoughts about HW interfaces to the 744 simulation engines. Do you think there will be in the future a possibility to access the variables of the simulator through FSUIPC. Hello PMDG,Your site is not loading in Firefox no matter how long I wait. It just stays at loading the whole time. I didn't have this problem about 30 mins ago. I tried in IE and it loads just as normal . What can be the problem?

Here goes:I have a very annoying problem with my frame rates, for example: I am sitting at the FS9 default airport, KSEA, on the active runway, with Fair weather option in FS, in the FS9 C172 and am getting about 14-20FPS. Hi all,Since yesterday I own a new pc, specs:Pentium IV 3.4GHZ @ 3400MHz1024mb Kingston 400/PC3200 (2x 512)XFX GeForce6800GT 256mbFrom out of my PMDG aircraft everything looks great, but when I move into the cockpit the cockpit graphics are not that great, especially with lightning but else also...Who is familiar with this problem and/or nows how I can fix this?

I Just installed PMDG 737-800/900 today. When I went to start up the aircraft I saw the panel was blank. They're is a main outline of the panel but, the LCD's are blank and the FMC is blank. The overhead switches dont turn or flick. The autopilot dose does not show up. If someone can help me please send a rely. Thanks!

Had a quick question because it wasn't responded to by email. I recently bought a PMDG plane from PayPal using the echeck method since I prefer not to use my credit card. Since the check needs to clear of course, how will I receive the software? Does it come via email with a URL? Thanks for the help guys, highly appreciated!-Chase
