Hi Guys,I have PMDG-NG. I have pulled up the FS9 config file and have checked show hidden files in folders. I want to load Maryland One paint. I dont see any other liveries. I under stand adding the Texture.sdi to my folder. i just cant find the X or the next number in sequence. This is a copy of what is requested to be done to install Maryland One:To install: Add the "texture.sd1" folder to your PMDG737-700-Winglets folder(*** I understand this *****). ***** This is where the problem is ****** Add the text below to your aircraft.cfg, replacing "x" with the next number in sequence. Hi guysIf having entered a new or saved route into the FMC, are we still anble to use the inbuilt ATC system or do we have to make the flight without recourse to the ATC?An associated point has also been taxing the old (and I do mean old) grey matter, the dep and landing runways may not agree with the ones entered into the FMC. How do we avoid the conflicts that would obviously occur?

Recently experienced quite a strange behaviour of the 747-400. Descending from cruise altitude V-NAV, L-NAV, A/P ON, I switched to Level Change and then shortly after I resumed V-NAV. After returning to V-NAV my target IAS dropped to 100 Kts and the AP started to slow down the aircraft. Tried again several times and evry single time I had the same story: switching from V-NAV to a different descent mode and then returning to V-NAV cause the target IAS to drop to 100 Kts...!Am I doing something wrong or is it a known bug ?Apart from this the Queen is a lovely aircraft..!Regards

Hi,Using the auto brakes on landing, when I apply manual braking after say 80knots the auto brakes disengage as they should but then no braking takes place the auto brakes simply. I need to reapply the brakes (pump them) to get them working again. Anyone else have this?Regards,Paul

Hi fellas,got a quick question for ya,i have noticed that when i switch from flying the PMDG 737 to the PMDG 747,i have found that the FL CH button on the autopilot seems stuck on and i cant seem to make it go out.Im not using any of the updates yet as i found im happy flying without them,could this be the problem???Any help on this matter would be greatMick

Hi,I noticed the behavior in the 747 but I think it's the same with the 737: The FMC tends to "shortcut" corners in the flight plan. Most time this is very welcome but sometimes I want to force the a/c to overfly a waypoint in any case (mostly during approach). Is there a way to program a waypoint in a way that it MUST be overflown?Thanks, Thomas.

Here's an error I've never seen before, until today.I was setting up the FMC, in the POS INIT page I entered EGLL as the Dep. Airport, next up the RTE page; repeated EGLL from the scratch pad, immediatrly the following error appeared in the scratch pad = 'EGLL err:23 rwy unknown'. I recently installed the latest AIRAC data, also the Sids/Stars from the PMDG Website. That's all the info I can provide at the moment.A solution would be appreciated; although I was able continue programming the FMC and made a successful flight.KenSomerset, England

Hi there, I have read various members posts about not being able to tune the ils on 747-400 for approach. I have this problem and tried everything that people have said but nothing happens?I have selected the runway on the DEP/APP page but the ils on the NAVRAD page does not tune it, I have tried to enter the ils manually but not quite sure what the course bit means after the runway freq i.e 108.90/xx, where do I get the course bit from?I have entered the route correctly including the dep and arr airports and runways but cannot get the ILS to tune no matter what I try?Can anyone help?Look forward to repliesgavi25

Chaps,maybe someone can help me.I received the boxed 737 600/700 as a gift from my girlfriend last Christmas.I lost the CD a few weeks ago. I only realised I had misplaced it when I looked for it do a re-install of Flight Simulator 2004.I had needed to contact PMDG Technical Support regarding a GDI+ installation issue on a previous occasion, so they know I own a genuine copy.What are the chances of arranging a replacement CD?I am willing to pay for postage etc.My friends in The P.C. Pilots Club of Ireland assured me that the PMDG team are most helpful and accommodating.I would be grateful for any input regarding my situation.Warm regards,Peter W. Keenan

Hi, I am really enjoying the B1900, and look forward to similar Express products from PMDG. This really fits my need sometimes for a quick in-out-nobody gets hurt plane. But I had some small questions that perhaps r/w B1900 pilots (or turbo-prop pilots) could espouse upon.I've read the manuals and available checklists, but needed some clarification. I also understand that the PMDG 1900 is not a 100% simulated representation of the real B1900, but would like any information available.Auto-feather: applied during take-offs, turned off on cruise, and re-applied on approaches?? About to Disconnect the Autopilot, enjoy; EDIT: Image way larger than our policy. Please read our image restrictions before posting again. One question though, if I'm flying with the autopilot engaged in V/S the aircraft struggles to maintain commanded V/S in turns, particularly in a descending turn. hi ,simmers!!! i've had old version of 600/700 which i downloaded when it was first released,but recently i bought new P.C which has lots of ram and good video card,so i decided to expand and downloaded service update to upgrade from 1.2 to 1.3 but here's the problem starts when i run the update an error message appears saying PMDGmain.gau is not a valid previous version and could not be upgraded! Can anyone help please?

I recently purchased the B-737-800/900 In at a Department store in Germany.When I returned to the US I downloaded the B-373 600/700 series, and loaded both programs loading the B-373 600/700 first per instruction, then the 800/900 with the update included on the disk.When I have both programs loaded or just the 800/900 series loaded, the FMS is goofy, when I click on the 7 8 9 keys I gen 4 5 6, and the . o +/- keys I get 7 8 9. Someone suggested click on the bottom of the keys. That worked fine with the 7 8 9 keys but I still get the same result with the . 0 +/- keys.I have tried everything I know, to completely re doing the whold computer and still have this problem.I…

First off I'd like to express my appreciation for this fine bird, the folks at PMDG have done a great job taking FS one BIG step forward in being truly "As real as it gets."My observation is this:I use Thomas Molitor's Flight Keeper application as a log book for all of my flights. I have it set to record all events, which was fine (performance wise) up until now. It seems that the 744 logic turns on/off the pitot heat 4 times per minute (off-on-off-on.) It also tunes the nav2 radio 16 times per minute! (it switches back and forth between VOR A and VOR :( I flew a flight from Bermuda to KBNA as my second test flight and had 3000+ events occur during the flight. It would …
