Because of a poorly written program called FSCrew (Poor in terms of no auto uninstall) I had to resinstall all my pmdg 737 600 700 800 900 series A/C but now the FS crashes when I try to load any 744. I have requested another setup file to see if reinstallation of this will solve the problem but until then does anyone know of any other reason that the 737 series should effect the 744 - It might help me get it going quicker.Kind regardsNigel Thomas-Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg

What are the correct steps to take that will allow proper initialization of the saved panel and saved flight? Should the saved flight be loaded first, or the other way around? Should one load the default cessna with running engines first?Generally, I have no problems here, except when I load the saved flight first, the airplane will act strangely, only loading the saved panel will fix this. ricardo

Hi!I have the 737NG (and the 800-900 update), and have noticed the following:At night, when switching from VC back to the 2D panel, the panel lights are automatically switched on! I switch them off and return to the VC - when I switch back to 2D mode, the panel lights are on again.In the VC, on the overhead, switching the dome lights on has no effect on the 2D panel ligthing. Switching the panel lights on in the VC switches off the Dome light and vice-versa.In the 2D panel, the Dome Light is not operational.Is this a bug, a known limitation or am I doing something wrong please?Either way it makes it much harder to fly at night!Thanks

Hi i just installed another addon on for fs2004 and it seems to have replaced the Version of fsupic to V3.47. So i cant use the pmdg 747-400 it keeps saying that i need V3.48. So i downloaded the lastest version 3.50 and installed that and it keeps saying that i need to upgrade to v3.48. So i Uninstalled the queen and then reinstalled it and still no luck!! Anyideas otherwise it has to be the best fs addon out there!!!Cheers

Hi,Noticed an alternate soundset for the 747 by Devyn J. Silverstein in AVSIM's file library, anyone tried this and have any comments on it?

(Apologies if this appears twice, but the first post seemed to disappear.)Was going through the 'standard procedures' tutorial for the 747 and kept crashing.Whenever I did pushback I was rolled back and turned, and the call for parking brakes would come. Parking brakes on but I was still rolling back. Parking brake on with engines on or off and was still rolling back. Foot brakes didn't stop it. Just rolled slowly back until I hit a building and crashed.Tried a search here at Avsim for the problem, but couldn't find anything.Anyone know what the problem is?Something I missed in startup?Any ideas?

I asked a 744ER a while ago, and was told that it was not out of the question, but wasn't being seriously considered. Anyway, are PMDG considering making a 744ER at this point? I would love it if you guys are ___________Alex

Hi,I bought the Queen back in August, but have just got round to flying her, due to that nasty thing called work :-( I seem to get everything else right, but I can't get any of the A/P (VNAV) to work. I have followed the manuals and the tutorial to the letter (or so I think!!), but nothing works. I take off from EIDW on a short hop to EGPH. Everything is loaded. I take off from Rnwy 28 using TAGO setting. Take off is nice and smooth. I activate the AP and also LNAV and VNAV. The aircraft banks to follow the FMC flightplan, but I always get VNAV Speed in the EFIS. According to the manual I should just have plain VNAV or VNAV Alt (I think). Anyway the aircraft climbs at 450…

Just a quick question for Robin of B-W designs - i enjoyed your paints, especially the United paint for the PMDG 747. The dirty look also added depth to the aircraft.Just wondering how the Qantas Wunala Dreaming is coming along, if you are still even working on it; i have been waiting anxiously for it :)_____________________Alex

Last night I flew my queen from KLAS to CYVR on vatsim. The flight was perfect! but on my downwind leg, YVR APP told to to turn and hold a heading of 260. No problem there, the APP told me to turn RIGHT to a heading of 320 or something like that, except my plane wanted to go left not right. It did not want to go to where i selected it to go..this is my only problem with this sweeet plane, i just want to know if maybe there was something i did wrong?thanks Andrew

Hello, I am having an issue. While on approach for an ILS, the FMC comes up with an error like this. APP ERROR/ FREQ DO NOT AGREE or something like that. This usually happens just after I intercept the localizer. I just clear out the error, and everything seems to work fine. I just don't like errors because it means I've done something wrong. Does anyone know what causes this error? FYI, It does'nt matter which rwy or airport. I have the latest Star/Sid's and the latest all in one nav download. I have the ILS Freq active in both Nav 1 and Nav 2 and the correct rwy set up in the FMC. Both A/P CMD are selected as well.All my 737's are doing this. The 747 seems ok. But it au…

Hi captains,My current hardware configuration includes an on-board soundcard. I was wondering when I use a seperate soundcard iso the on-board one, would that increase the performance of my processor? (so more time for the processor to proces FS ;) )Thanks a lot for your comments!nick

HiI currently have a few flights saved with saved panel states, will these be altered with the new service update, basically should i start fresh with the SU or resuming current flights and/or saved panel cold and dark for example will be safe to resume even if flight is airborne?P.s. If there is no answer to this yet , maybe its something to consider as many users may have several flights saved.Thanks!

Hi guys. I read in a 777 flight manual that the PF should call for the next flap setting when within 20kt of that flap maneuvering speed. According to the Boeing Manual, "acceptable maneuever margin exists at speeds 20 knots below the recommended maneuver speed for each flap position."So from my interpratation at least on that aircraft during acceleration and flap retraction it is correct to go from flaps 5 to 1 when you're within 20 kt of the green number "1" on the speed tape. Now my question is whether that is applicable to the 747. And the reaosn I ask is that I have been selecting flaps Up only when arriving at the flaps up maneuvering speed indicated by the green "u…

Is there a way to download your products with "resume" option ?This is my 3rd attempt to download the pmdg 737 and the download was broken each times.The problem is each time i have to start from scratch and your site doesn't allow the use of a download manager.... :-(

Hej After upgrading my PC and reinstalling the NG 600, first 1.2 to ver 1.3, then installing the 800-900, and finally went for a ride. But.......a loud and very irritating noice made it all impos.Does anyone know if PMDG's 737 seria is not compatible with FSUIPC 3.5, and that can be the course ??Thanks in advance

I would like to recommend that PMDG-NG 737 make it where we are able to start cold and dark at the gate. I dont want to have to shut everything down and then start it up. Does anyone have any ideas or figured out how to start the program with the 737 cold and dark. I love the program, I think they have done a great job and I would pay for the upgrade to be able to do so. Thanks for any help!Lee

Hi,I've this problem for a long time. Loading and flying with 737-6/7/8/9 are absolutely no problem. But when I crashed the airplane, (so at this time FS9 will reload the flight itself), FS9 must CTD. I don't have this problem with all other aircrafts, even with pmdg 747. It happens to 737s only. I've tried uninstalling 737s, MSFS, or even formatting the computer and neither of them work. I also tried diable the "Render to Texture" option and it doesn't help as well.Anyone got some clues?
