Hi,Recently I deinstalled FS9, defragmented my partition and re-installed FS9. I removed all other programs including PMDG 747.Trying to re-install the 747 the creates the following message:"The setup has detected that version 1.02.1800 version 1.01 is installed. This setup installs an earlier version (1.01).You will have to uninstall the previous version before installing this version."I guess there are some registry entries to remove. Or is there another way to unistall?Thank youWalter

Hello;I am trying to chnage coms frequncy on the 747, however, cannot seem to get the switch to read KSEA (110.30). The knob will not allow 110 to be dialled in.Is there something I am blatantly doing incorrectly?Thank you....IAIN

I have only posted once before, but I use the forums on a daily basis. Before I bought the 737 it wasn't my favourite plane. After purchasing and flying it the quality was so good I got spoiled and hardly flew anything else. Now the 747, and I must say this is by far the most AMAZING aircraft ever. Now guess what aircraft I always fly. I lost sleep on its intial release and I am getting very excited about the upcoming B744F.I have a question if you are able to release this kind of info. Now that Boeing has made the new 747-800 official perhaps PMDG might begin working on it after the 744F?I was reading where the newer/modern flightdeck will already be rendered in the 744F and since Boeing has said that this will be the new flightdeck for the 748, all PMDG has to do is come up with a new model with a slightly longer fuselage, and a new wing and engines. Unlike with what the case was with the 787, the 748 aesthetics are all but final (new wing and GEnx engines, and a slightly longer fuselage,) it appears it would be a great opportunity to explore the new 747! I think Boeing has been pretty vocal on what they claim in performance and fuel efficiency, so hop…

Hi All,First post here, but I haven't been able to find the answer to my question.Q1 PMDG 737 non config warning horn going off on taxi and when the park brake is set, going off only with the brake release or setting flaps.My thought is Idle thrust default is set too high.Can it be changed in the CFG file as the aircraft taxis far to fast or could it be a calibration in my joystick(will try tonight to re-calibrate).Any help would be great.Thanks and I enjoy the readingDarren

Hello all, Ive just had to re-install the PMDG 747-400 as it kept crashing, since then as soon as i load up a flight using this aircraft, within about 1 minute all the EICAS screens go blank. Ive checked the failure options and theyre all ok so Im not sure whats going on. Anyone have any ideas??ThanksS.

I have a long-standing problem since I bought the 747-400. Each time I exit flight simulator, a CTD occurs: i.e. FS appears to exit normally, but then a windo appears telling me that it performed an illegal operation and will need to be shut down. HiI'm missing the radios from my 1900. Given the new life being breathed into the T7 LR, Freighter etc...combined with the fact that many VA's including the Largest couple use this machine(ie. customers) I wonder whether this might not be an ideal aircraft for PMDG to develop next.David Miles

I'm sure I saw something on this but cannot find it now. (I sure miss those old forums... these may be easier on the management but they're a huge step backward for user support.) I cannot get the autopilot to operate on the 747-400. None of the 3 (L/C/R) will egage, no FMC warnings, but the lights for LNAV and VNAV will come on... but nothing happens. I've got it all set up but cannot find a way to tell the forum to automatically include it in all posts.

Hello all!This a very minor eye-candy issue but I just bought the 737-800/900 and noted that the "CFM The Power of Flight" logo on the inner side of the engine pods is reversed. I would just say to the developers that I would love to see an update for 737 products (I would have no problems to pay for it), to keep them up to date and give them the same level graphic detail and style as the PIC737. Dear All,I'm new in this huge forum, so I bring my apologies beforehand if my questions have been discussed already. I'm having absolutely great time with PMDG 747, and so far I have only two questions:- If I set bank limiter to e.g. 5 degrees, the aircraft still appears to bank much more in LNAV or HDG modes. While it would be nice to have gentle banks at high speeds and altitudes...- It seems that TOD is too close to final destination, therefore VNAV descent is too rapid, resulting in FMC message "drag required". Therefore I have to extend spoilers, which is almost certainly damaging. Am I doing something wrong here? (Like too much fuel?) I take care not to exceed MLW a…

I love the Queen! still haven't figured out why I keep getting .dll errors. the latest one now is fe.dll but anyway... here are my 3 requests:brighter VC during the day with the dome light on, especially around the center consoleSounds for the windshield wipers (yes minor but it would be really cool!)No Smoking stays on when in auto. I don't know if this is how its supposed to work? But if I keep the no smoking sign in auto, it goes off when the gear goes up or above 10k feet?Thanks for a great aircraft, looking forward to the next update!!

When I fly the PMDG 747 the displays don't work correctly. The PFD doesn't have the attitude indicator, and the Navigation display doesn't show the anything on it related to navigation. It doesn't have my route, and it doesn't show the heading either. In the EICAS I can't switch the view, it always stays in the ENG view. Clicking on the other views does nothing. Anybody have any idea what's going on?
