I haven't updated my original Sid's/Star's/etc. since I purchased the PDMG737 600/700 & the add-on 800/900 and was wandering if when I download the PIC-PMDG_0511.zip I'm assuming it will automatically populate and overwrite my existing navdata files in FS9 since it is a self-extracting executable file?? Or do I have to do other things before I attempt to update my old navdata files for the PMDG737NG ?noullet

Since this forum moved back i catn find any message that i have posted in the old forum. In the old forum, there was an option - Find message by author - i type in my name and all messages poped up. Hi,I found a bug a while ago, since the release of this beauty, but never said anything about it but since were talking about SPs and SU and etc I thought lets bring it on. It isn't mentioned in the V1.03 post aswell, so a reason more to start this topic.If I wish to go Direct to a waypoint I have a two options in the LEGS page. The first one is to go DIRECT and I have the option to use Abeam Points if I want to. The second option is to INTC. a specific radial to a Direct Waypoint. But wat if I want to INTC. a radial and use Abeam Points at the same time?? In the real a/c this is possible, as far as I know, but it isn't on the Queen. Is this fixed??Second thing about the …

Hi,Very simple questions regarding the update.Is it VREF30+100 or +80 for the minimum clean speed after takeoff?? (in the real thing)600KGs of fuel for the APU each houre....Isn't that to much?Is it not like this: If you switch of a FD, but the A/P is engaged, the FD bars disappear but the ROLL/PITCH modes remain?

Climbing towards 35,000 ft withFD ONA/T ONThe left CMD ONThe engines began to idle at about 30,000 ft with the relevant text warning being issued.The only way I could recover power was to hit the speed switch to instruct the computer to ignore the FMC LEGS power requirement.What could have gone wrong?Cliff

Hello PMDG!Just wondered, and maybe just for a laugh, how would your new upgraded servers handle the situation if somehow you managed to release the Service pack, the Freighter and MD-11 at the same time (yea sure :()? Another mass breakdown or are you prepared for the worst? :)

I love the PMDG B744 but I do have problems taxiing it, especially making turns.The turning circle seems enormous compared to the real aeroplane, and it seems to need a lot of power to get it moving. Turning corners sees to require even more power. Add more power and it goes too fast, increasing the turning cirecle even further. Reduce power and it comes to a halt mid-turn.Is there a way to dolve this?I have a joystick with a 'twist' yaw-axis which controls the rudder and nosewheel together. Obviously this is inaccurate. Is there a way to separate them? Am planning to buy a CH Yoke and Pedals - perhaps it will be easier with these?

Hi,I have the 1.2 download version of TNG with the 1.3 service update, & the boxed CD version of the 800/900. TNG works fine with the service patch applied but once the 8/9 is loaded the TNG cockpit looks like the 8/9s cockpit but doesn't function properly - half the panel icons don't work, the aircraft will not start or even switch on, and the EFIS' remain blank even if the FS is started with the aircraft engines running.I've tried to install the 8/9 first then TNG but the 1.3 patch stops, saying that a gauge file is wrong, & also the 8/9 installation expressly mentions that TNG should be installed first anyway.Does anyone have any ideas cos at the moment I can h…

Hi there,I use and enjoy the 737NG and 747400 but am also building a modest desktop cockpit (www.paulharmer.com/737cockpit).What I'd love to do is use my PMDG software with this, rather than having to buy some (very) expensive glass cockpit/FMC software.I know it can be done to some extent (www.737ng.co.uk), but how about PMDG releasing a "pro" version of their packages, say for about $100-150 which the cockpit builders could use to interface with their hardware? It would be stunning and wouldn't detract from the core products.Keep up the good work anyway :)Paul

Just had something weird happen that I've never seen before. I just downloaded a new Lufthansa livery for my 737-700 and took a flight from Munich to Rome. When I landed however there wasn't the usual smoke of the tires on the runway nor any sound...nothing.What are the files associated with those sound and graphics effects. I have a very annoying problem at the moment. Some here are already debating out of memory issues. I found a bad DIMM module myself and have replaced it. I don't get an out of memory problem anymore. Still my FS2004 crashes sporadically. What happens is that my screen just goes black. After a little while my computer reboots and during the boot I get the audio warning from the motherboard stating: "System failed VGA test". The only way I can get rid of my black screen is by shutting down completely.
