Hi guys,What a superb aircraft, After 3 test flights and 3 medium hauls, I did notice a few things.1) FMC- Noticable blank screen and pause when modifying flightplans - Im presuming this is because the real one is this slow?2) On RTE2 the STEP button doesnt work on map mode.3) Descent Page problems - modifying or adding waypoints to a STAR causes the descent page to crash and corrupt descent profile. Whenever I add a waypoint to an arrival, the new waypoint's speed/alt are at cruise values and not the values related to the descent profile of the previous and next waypoints. This problem isnt just to do with STARs, but manual created waypoint approaches too.4) Wing views…

Having read several posts, i ma trying everything possible to get this thiing to validate.1. Downloaded with Mozilla and IE2. Checked 20 times my password, order ID and email address3. Changed nmy password and redownloaded4. made sure i had enough money on the credit card to cover it!5. have no firewall ect to block the download6. Security settings as per ecommendation from PMDGWhat else to do? I cant pay for it again as it cost aboy $70+ dollars in New Zealand and my wif ewill go ballistic if i get charged twice!!!I have emailed PMDG and am waiting there reply.Any other things i've missed?Thanks chaps and sorry to harp on about this.Doug :(

Hey guys I'm enjoying the 747 but I am very dissapointed with a few things mainly because of the price it is.Main problem is the awful stuttering on the ground while in 2D Panel, I'm getting decent FPS but really bad stutters that I get with no other aircraft. The 2D panels are also very jerky unlike the LDS 767 which is silk smooth in 2D mode, even with the panel FPS confid set to 25 they still jerk!. Hello,my 747 didn't hold the Glideslope, they is going on glideslope down to 1000feet then they decent with -1500 feet per minute. What is going on??

Greetings all.I`ve been having some problems with the 744, when on cruise altitude the plane never seem to capture the assigned alt. properly and keeps chasing it by up to +- 1000fpm. I`ve only used the PMDG fuelpax loader, deactivated VAS in ASV and even tried to deactivate the joystick axes to see if that could help but to no avail. The problem occur on all cruise altitudes, any speeds and in any weight conditions.Anyone else experiencing this?BrgdsKevin

HiI have had a bit of a problem and while I support will get around to my email I would like some advice on the e commerce site.At 1500Z yesterday 3rd August when the B747 shop opened again for business after a short closeure I logged in and pu the b747 in my basket, I went to check out and completed the boxes with my credit card details. Hi,Congratulation folks. Great job.One question:I can't figure out a way to manually enter an ILS frequency. I constantly get an FMC error: "Invalid Entry". The manual says that ILS can be tuned automatically and manually but how to do that is nowhere to find. Hi guys,First of all, let me say that the product is great.I have a strange problem. When I exit FS2004 by using any NON-PMDG plane like LDS767 prior to exit, I have standart message error "You have to restart FS9 due to....pmdgoptions.dll".When I use PMDG747 prior to exit from the sim, I don't have such type of message. I removed all PMDG stuff like 737NG and 747 and did full re-install for PMDG747 only. Nevertheless, while using any NON-PMDG plane. the problem with error message on exit from FS9 still exists.Best Regards,Dmitriy Toropov

Hi first of all, when using the PMDG 747 I get crackling sounds inside the cockpit and outside. This is very noticable when the engine sounds vary. Are other people experiencing this, are there any quick fixes for this since it gets rather annoying.Other than that great package, i've found som bugs or lets say abnormalties in the aircraft's systems. I will be testing more and posting a list soon with my fidnings. And hopefully PMDG will take it into consideration and patch it up.So, good package overall, defenitly one for the hardcore simmers. realistic flight dynamics, systems modelled very accuratly, nice eye candy, very "polished" and complete feel to it. The situation:Yesterday I tried to buy the 747 from the website, all steps succeeded up to the point where I enter my credit card details.On submitting, I get a script timeout error, however, I also find an email in my inbox which is a purchase confirmation.In that email, there is no download link, no instructions.After looking through the site, I finally find a link in the eCommerce section after logging in, however, it says "This url has expired".I contact support (yesterday about 1600 UTC) via email and via the message feature in the eCommerce section.So far, there has been no reply, not to mention a solution to this, even though the main site states today that all ema…

How can I use those covered switches? (I mean this type of switches http://www.fly-n-hi.com/FST/switches/cover.jpg, sorry for my bad english) When I click it, it opens the cover, but how can i move the switch?

Hi.I have a big problem...i dont now why, but my B747 appears whit the start up completed and after a few seconds (about 20 sec) all my displays get off...buf and i cant reed any information. Im lookimg for this in the manual but i dont find any procedure....Please help.Thx.

Hey, I went through the trouble of making an Active Camera file for the 747 before I noticed that PMDG had graciously provided their own ;);)Mine is quite a bit different - and I feel obligated to explain that the numbering sequence of the views really makes no sense. The reasoning behind that is because at one point a while ago I configured the buttons on my yoke to conform to various views on a particular aircraft's ACV file. I just kept them as that and modify my active camera view settings to conform with the keypresses my buttons are making.That being said, here's my "setup." This is purely from curiostiy. The list of features on the website mentions flameouts due to watter intake in heavy rain. Will flameouts also occur due to stalls or rapid maneuvers at high altitude as well?Andrew

Ciao to all,I've just installed the PMDG 747..and I realise that the FMC:- doesn't "switch on" while other instruments are -it blocks when I activate a waypoint...Sometimes the FMC goes on only if I disconnect from IVAP...Any idea????THanx

Anyone else seeing this, i cant run the 747 with other addons, the memory load very high 1250 mb, thats more than 400mb more than the PMDG 737 or LDS767 on my system. My ground textures is not loading at all and fps is down to 5-10 when flying in USA with UTUSA and AS5. I tried messing with the FS9 config settings, now i set them to these, but it didnt help at all. I run FS9 at highest settings with other advanced planes like your 737 and lds767, so it must be possible with this one too. I just have to say- I've had my Queen for a couple of days, and I am loving it! RTFM is definately needed in this case, but it's worth it.KUDOS to the PMDG team, and it's one heck of a compliment to you all that the purchases brought down the eCommerce site. And thanks for your patience and calm with us during our "when will it be released" attack onto the forum the last few days! :-hah I just departed Munich for Hong Kong and wooooooowww :-cool This is really great..Frames are great! 40 stable during climb out now... Hi,Since I can not use the VC due to non showing CRT gauges, I wonder about the 2D sideviews.In the panel.cfg file there are headers for sideview BMPs, but they are not in the panel folder?So, if I select no VC in the PMDG preferences, how do I get the 2D sideviews to show?I start to think that something is missing in my install.exe file.
