I know I saw another post on this but I do not think it ever got answered. In the manual it states that the FMC does not have the ability to display a list of all Flightplans but that there are a list of 350 flights that are stored in a PMDG created folder that we can call up by typing in what appears to be the flight name. Are these flights stored in any proprietary manner or does it go to say that we can load flightplans but just not pick from a list. Will I be able to creat a flightplan in FSBuild, call it KEWREGLL for example and then type KEWREGLL into COROUTE and have it load all of the flighplan info or do we only get to choose from the 350 you have loaded? Thanks …

Hi guys, I'm sorry to irritate everyone amidst the hype of the upcoming 747 release (which I am admittedly looking forward to), but I do get very very annoyed when flying the 737-6 or 737-7.The plane itself is top notch - I wouldn

When taxiing with only two engines, i.e. to save fuel when you expect a long ride out to the runway, which two engines are better to use, the inboards or outboards? I saw this mentioned breifly in the manual, and became curious. Is this commonly done on 747s? I have seen it lots of times on smaller jets with tail mounted engines like MD-80s. However, its harder to notice this on a 747 from the passenger compartment, since the engines are so much farther away.Andrew

Hi!I'd like to see a Pilatus PC-21 or PC-9 in FS, because it's a very nice plane. I think, that plane would be an awesome plane with PMDG's excellent technologies. Hope it is a real wish!Laszlo GulyasBudapest (LHBP), Hungaryhttp://levendula.bolt.hu/signature_a320.gif

Hi there anyone and all,I want to fly to and from some of my favorite Greek islands and while some like Corfu are ok, others like Samos are causing a big problem.Problem is that when I'm positioned on the actual runway and that this corresponds to my placement on the FS9 map, the FMC put me at a displacement to where it thinks the runway should be.I have all the latest AIRAC and SID/STARS installed but there are some airport out there cauing problems like this. Also has anyone tried using VNAV on the latest Madeira STAR and circling approach to runway 5, there's just no way the autopilot wants you to make that final turn to short finals..helpSebastian

B717, or MD-95, whatever you want to call it. It's never had an accurate sim version, I think PMDG could do it justice.-Scott

With the impeding release of the Queen and hence much more traffic on these forums, would you be willing to consider having "sub folders" regarding the 747 like:-FAQ-Technical Help- General PMDG 747 questionsetcThis would help reduce redundancy of questions and help us readers find answers quicker. Just a thought...Mike Patel

I upgraded my machine today with an FX-55/Abit Motherboard Combo. I did a fresh install of Win 64 and everthing has gone perfect EXCEPT the reinstall of the PMDG 737NG. The PMDG Beech 1900 install was fine. When I try to reinstall the 737, the installer says Current File: Skipping Over File c:/windows/fonts/arialn.ttf. The installer then just hangs there.I've used my backup copy and got the same result. Any ideas how to fix this? I know the 737 runs OK on XP64, because it was running before my upgrade. Any ideas?

Hey PMDG, Congratulation to the team for finally (very close) getting her flying on thousands of computers. and cheer to all of us loyal PMDG users for that the wait is over. Yet amid all these hype and celebration I think it'd be a really nice touch to include a FSBuild 2 profile after the QOS is made avialiable for sale. I've been using the program a lot lately for my IFRs, its both convinent and professional. I'd imagine many of us already have it on our harddrive, so a performence profile from PMDG or any fellow Simmer who happen to know how to make one is much much apprieciated. Thanks

I've been an avid flight sim enthusiast for more than 20 years. I started out on some super simple flight sim that worked on the Commodore 64. Then I moved up to Bruce Artwick's original flight simulator program and spent hours and hours flying between Meigs and Midway in Chicago. As I sit here today printing out the new PMDG 744 manual at my office (on the color printer of course) it occurs to me that very few people get our hobby. "You sit on your computer and 'fly' all night long?" "You fly on your computer? How boring is that?" The amazing thing is that I don't have my pilots license but I have learned an awful lot over the past 20+ years. When I attended the AV…

I have the 737NG 600/700. Other than adding two additional models, with longer range and more realistic FMC, what is the benefit to my 600/700 aircrafts, if I were to add the 700/800 aircrafts? Does the 800/900 add on do anything to the 600/700 aircrafts?I know that the FMC on the 800/900 is more realistic, but are any changes made to the 600/700 with the 800/900 add on?Thank you.Stanner

I would guess that anyone that has seen the video ITVV 747-400 Virgin Atlantic and is going to purchase PMDG 747-400 will want to duplicate the flight in the video from London (EGLL) to San Francisco (KSFO). The charts used in the video are the same ones on the program from Jeppesen,

What suppose that Do we do with those EXE livery files? Can I install it meanwhile into any freeware 747-200/400?It's not needed the liverys because it's only a simple file, just like your thousand of EXE's placed into anywhere PC folders...!It's awful and boring all this!!! I hate this strange waiting...Come on ya!!!!!!! it's not sufficient 1 year delay?? :-mad The ONLY that I know it's... I have MY VISA ready.

Hey all, again! 8)This is just a suggestion. I think it would be a great idea for PMDG to offer demos of their programs, just like how skydecks has it with their payware 737NG panel. Just have it like a download where all of the panel features are disabled after 30 seconds in game or something like that, and the flight dynamics won't work on the model.I think if this suggestion were implemented by PMDG, it would allow people to download the demo and see how it runs relative to their system specs, instead of paying and then finding out it won't work. It would also allow people to see the quality first hand, rather than through the screenshots.Once again, just a suggestion.

Hello,I was wondering about the start procedure located on page 109 of the PDF manual. Having flown the A-320 for 10 years I am familiar with FADEC (Fully Automated Digital Electtronic Control) systems and the differences of an EEC system. I am currently flying the 744 which has the EEC (Electronic Engine Control) system. At our airline we have the PW-4056 engines and do not have an auto start capability described in the manual. We pull the ENGINE START SWITCH located on the overhead panel to begin the start sequence. This opens the START VALVE and the ENGINE BLEED AIR VALVE. Both must be open for the starter to engage the N2 section. The "light" on the start switch turns…
