Hi I love the Queen but im having difficulties with Direct to and being able to change my landing destination. Yes I have read the entire manual can do holds and everything else no problems. But during an emergency and having to go direct or returning to an airport for landing. Iam missing something any help would be greatly appreciated. Yes I can do it by hand but there has to be another way. Also does anyone else have this or is this normal my pack 3 always goes off right after startup and I have done what the manual says in abnormal procedures. No joy though. Hello !I have a strange problem that prevents me to play with the PMDG 744. After loading the 744 (by default the engines are ON) the CRT's shuts down after one minute and I'm completely unable to make them rework again. I tryied the cold&dark cockpit situation and strictly followed the procedure according to the manual (Battery ON) and even after I started the APU the CRT's would not come alive. I'm not speaking about the IRS not being aligned yet, I mean the CRT's are all black and I can't see a thing on them. HelloI currently fly the 737-800/900 series & have been watching the forums regarding the various teething problems that are associated with any new highly technical release.Have many of the problem issues that were sited when the 747 was released been fixed yet? I'm hoping that a actual user can just say yes or no here.if there are still problems, then I'll wait a little while more before purchase. By the way great to see the old forum back again. over on the just flight forum i have been reading a thread on the screenshot forum showing some screenshots of the queen and one of the people replied by saying thisAnother set of fine shots. Now that the PMDG 747 is on CD, i have no excuse for not buying her. especially as there is a repaint floating around, of her in the colours of the first plane i ever flew on (Virgin G-VBIG)do any no if this is true if so where can i get it.cheers

Just when I thought that the 737-600/700 was the best that could get out of your 737s, I had to get the 800/900 upgrade. I really hesitated to get it, because I didn't really want to pay again for a new model that I hardly fly anyway (I usually fly the 737-700). You can imagine the look on my face, when I saw all new textures for my beloved 737-700 on top of the new features (fully functional VC, TCAS and all the other small improvements)!!! It wasn't clear on your website what *exactly* gets updated from the 600/700 series with the 800/900 upgrade, so......thank you, thank you!! That was money worth spent!

I am still having problems with the FMS on the 800/900 seires B-737 which also transfers over to the 600/700 series.When you click on the 7 8 9 keys you get 4 5 6 unless you click on the bottom of the key, nen it is ok. However when you click on the. 0 +/- key you get 7 8 9, and I have installed the update program that comes with the 800/900 series. Am I the only one having this problem.I would really appreciate any help I can get. Both the 600/700 and 800/900 series are great but this problem really detracts from full enjoyment of the simulation.Thanksken Hand

I printed the list of commands for the 747 from the PMDG menu, but there are no keyboard mapping listed. I would like to know what the mapping is so I can program my Saitek X45 Throttle and Stick.Am I missing something?ThanksAlvin Slatton

Hello.Ive looked in the forums but can't seem to find answer.I installed AIR BERLIN textures for the 737-700 with the installer but the textures did not show. The texture folder is in the aircraft folder and the aircraft cfg has the proper enteries. Just no textures on aircraft.Also wondering how to delete liveries from aircraft folder.Manually?.Thanks for the help..TH

Is there a reason why the PMDG 747 has difficulties climbing - and even turning - after having been saved as a flight in FS9? After having restarted a flight from Dallas to San Francisco today, I spent many minutes trying to get my aircraft to climb to FL390. This just didn't work, and I had to request a flight level descent to FL280 instead. Turns were also terribly mixed up; when expecting to turn right, my aircraft would suddenly turn left and visa versa. Does this happen to others out there? :-hmmm

I just downloaded and installed the 1900C. I had no problems with the install.But I have no Virtual Cockpit displaying. It just displays a screen looking forward on the runway without any cockpit.What am I missing?Thanks in advance to all who reply.Bill

hi all i have a problem with my pmdg 747 wich is that after i loaded the aircraft all the screen go black but the reaminig switches are working i ca turn on the battery and the apu ground power but i cant get no power on the main screens

Now we're getting a 747-400D and a 747-400F, where's the 747-400 Combi?I don't mean to sound demanding but I was just wondering whether PMDG have any plans to model the Combi in a future update? It's a very common 744 variant - and I think it's the only one now not modelled by PMDG?
