Hi guys,After the patch I found that panel.cfg was change. It seems like new lines for sides's views were added (for us, VC-haters), but marked as "///", i.e. - INOP. Also, I found file names for 2D bitmaps.So the question is - where I may find these sideviews's bitmaps and how to properly activate them.My BestDmitriy Toropov.

There is a wealth of info in this forum and it has been helpful. However at this point in time I am confused. I have never been able to get the 747 to follow the VNAV path. It works on another Boeing aircraft in my inventory but not the PMDG. In my opinion the 747 is truly a good product but after reading this forum closely and investigating and testing various options I am not sure what my plane is supposed to do and what it is not. My goal is become proficient and then fly on Vatsim.Thanks to all those who have posted POSITIVE meassages.RegardsRickP.S. I am retired and my wife says PMDG is keeping me off the streets. Hi I have 2 questions. Since downloading Ver 1.10 everytime after I have landed and clear rwy for taxing to gate the plane wants to veer hard left and hard right, making it almost impossible to taxi to gate. Yes im flying online Vatsim and yes Autopilot is off and im taxing in at the proper speed. 2nd question after the update I have noticed that on the EICAS next to CAB ALT, RATE is changing every second during flight between 200 and -200. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I bought the B747-400 time ago (in August 2005) and now want to do a complete fresh installation of the product to the new version 1.1. I have my Order ID number and passwords, and all that is needed, so please indicate the procedure to be followed.Thanks for your assistance

Hello,First post here. Great product. Really enjoying flying her. I have a couple of questions?1: I believe on the real aircraft it is possible to set the amount of fuel to remain in event of fuel dumping. I thought this could be set on the ground before flight therefore negating the need to do it in an emergency. However when I set up fuel to remain, it defaults back to fuel onboard when switching from fuel jettison A or B to Off. Is this correct?2: When the IRS's are left on and battery is off should there not be a warning bell?3: I have tried saving the panel state with the IRS's off, but the IRS's always appear on, is it possible to save with IRS's in off position. Hello everybody,after installing the 747-400, my keyboard commands for panel switching don't work anymore. I can enter commands for the 747 and they work correctly, but if I use the 737, the commands I entered are gone after closing the menu.Did anyone experienced the same problem?Thx Tobias

i am thinking of buying an pmdg product but the aircraft i might buy would be my first time using the fmc and a fully up to date panel because i have flown concorde and that is not an flyby wire panel but what would be the best product for a starter product would it be the 737 or the 747

I posted this in the update thread but received no reply.Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, however I've searched and can't find it. Firstly I'd like to say well done on releasing a very impressive service update, however something does not appear to be here that I was expecting (I think).Since the first release a problem was acknowledged regarding the aircraft turning the wrong way on heading select. I know the workaround, however I thought a fix was being worked on. Was this planned for this update, or has something else been released to address it previoulsy.Apologies if I have missed something, however my forum searches did not answer the question.

Hi,I would like to know if it is possible to run the pmdg 747 on my older P4 2.4 Ghz (with 512MB ram and a 64MB graphics card)?I can fly the pmdg 737Ng (using the 2D cockpit or the VC without cabin).Do you believe the 747 will be flyable?Thanks in advance.Guy

Hi PMDG. Great job on the Queen, she just keeps getting better. Looking forward to the freighter and the MD 11. I know this is along way off but it gives you the time to do your magic. I would love to see you do the 787 and the 747-8 as I believe you are the only ones qualified to do it justice when Boeing unleashes them on us in 2007 and 2008. I will happily wait for them. Thanks PMDG for the great planes you have created for us. They really are the most realistic.

Hi All,I just purchased my CH Producs Flight Yoke and have been trying to figure out how to assign the AP/AT diconnect/disarm functions on the 737/747 to a button on the joystick. I tried using FSUIPC to assign keystrokes to buttons as well as the default FS assignments, all to no avail. Has anyone done this and if so, please tell me how?Many thanks,

Hi there - the error only occurs after the update to 1.1 with me. I have done many 14 hour (real time) flights with the interum update, and this did not happen. I was 5 hours into one with the new update, and it occured. I do not understand pagefile stuff (I know it only uses drive C, which is my 40gb drive with 8gb free space) and I also know that my drive is completly spyware free to the best of my ability, and is defragmented well (once a week). Can anyone help me? In the meantime, I suppose it's back to the interum update...Any help would be great - such as the memory checking or something, but it seems very strange it would only happen after that update.Thanks f…

When selecting EGLL in the FMC I get an error 23 no runway data. Going to the dep/arr page no runways or sids are listed. This is with either cycle 0511 or 0512. I understood that PMDG uses the same database as Level d767 (PIC) i.e. in FMCWP/navdata. The runway data shows up perfect in the Level D 767.Any clues please anyonePaul Gardner

For the flight from Tokyo to New York (RJAA-KJFK), I have loaded Tri-class 2/3 Pax and Max Fuel (ZFW: 516,728lbs, Fuel: 358,272) with PMDG 747-400 Load Manager; however, FMC MESSAGE "INSUFFICIENT FUEL" has appeared.Cap'n Tarmack has flown RJAA-KJFK with 326,100 pounds of fuel on the PRECISION SIMULATOR 744 VERSION 1.3 "The Inaugural Flight".Sincerely,Kan-ichiro Fushihara

I am having troubles with engine start after installing the patch. I have not seen anyone else with this problem. All other aircraft are fine, but the 747. I have APU Bleed air on (APU Started of course), fuel configured, Autostart on, Pack 2&3 off, and when I pull the ignition switches the engine do not spool at all. I get a reading that the ignition is active but no spooling of the engines. I have started this airplane 100's of times before the patch and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
