Hi,After applying the 1.10 patch I can almost not hear anything from the engines even at full thrust during t/o. Is it meant to be like this or do I have a problem here with my setup?The exterior engine sounds however are great!

I tried searching this and the other forum but couldn't find any discussion regarding it.My problem is that sometimes when I dial in a heading and press Heading select the airplane wont turn to the heading - it just continues straight forward as if I had pressed Heading Hold instead. I am sure that I haven't pressed Heading Hold by mistake as I've verified pressing the correct button as well as using the key assignment for the Heading select AP function. I've experienced this before and after the patch. Last time yesterday and the only way for me to get to the desired VOR (unless I flew manually) was to enter it into my flightplan and commanded a Direct To in the FMC.Befo…

hello every bodyi would like to know, if the operation of the autopilot CMD switches in the sim is an exact copy of the real world function. I always thought, that whenever pressed to activate the resp. CMD switch, you could only disengage the autopilot via the disengage bar, or the ap disengage button on the yoke? in the simulator here, i can also disengage the autopilot via the CMD switch again.also, should the flaps retraction speed markers in the PFD speed tape not always remain where they are? if i select flaps 20 the bug for flaps 20 dissappears, instead the one for flaps 10 arises.what do you think about this?keep up this good work pmdgsincerely yoursMarc MullerLux…

I had to re-install the 744 a couple of days ago, and now wonder if I already have the update? I noted in the 1.10 patch/upgrade readme that, if you purchased the 744 after Nov. 29th, you did not need the upgrade currently available. My install of the latest update did not appear to install any files, and quickly exited after executed. Thus, the reason to want to identify what version/release IS installed.Any help appreciated. :7

Hi everyoneI downloaded the latest AIRAC files from WWW.NAVDATA.AT and unzipped the files to my PMDG SIDSTAR folder. When I open the FMC it still shows me the previous AIRAC cycle dates. What am I doing wrong?? Is there another method of doing this? I am sure there are more simmers with the same problem.Please Help

I've downloaded and installed the UPDATE ... but a problem that I previously had, still persists:The FMC is well programmed, everything goes as planned but you set the altitude for example to 12 000 and press the ALT knob but it climbs right through 12 000 and ATC yells in your ears to get back to 12k then finally you are at 12 000 and you are cleared for FL280 and then you climb until about FL240 and then you start to descend for no apparent reason - you disable the VNAV and with a great struggle you manually climb to FL240 and finally to FL350.Why is this happening?I know about burning off fuel if you are heavy and to step climb but in the last scenario she was loaded w…

Well I've installed the update after checking the PMDG site every 10 seconds for the last couple of days, as opposed to 10 minutes every other day. As my computer was installing it I was dancing around the house with excitement, as someone like me does. So what are my thoughts? I am quite impressed with the noticable new features, such as upper EICAS warning and caution signs and auto-pilot siren to name a few. But I guess SU2 fell short of my high expectations. My hopes were set on performance increase which I find hard to tell whether there is any improvement (I think slight). Basically I'm measuring the Queen against LDS767 which from my perspective has on average 5fps…

I have installed the above and everything seems to work fine for twenty minutes to half an hour and then FS9 just stops instantly. Program closes in an instant. No,message boxes about informing Microsoft or anything. I've been using FS since FS3 and have never known it stop, just like that. The PC is 3.2Ghz with 1Gig ram and 256Mb radeon X300 on-board video.I can't get to the bottom of it. Everything was fine before installation and the PMDG 737 NG 600/700 is fine, as are all other aircraft. Anyone out there with any ideas please?

hello dear PMDG teammy trouble i had with the installation of the new update has been solved by simply removing the queen completly from my system, then re-installing it again, with the update. everything work now perfectjust a small question i do have. Is the autopilot supposed to shut-off if the CMD switch is pressed? i thought that the AP only shuts down if the AP disconnect button on the yoke or the AP disengage bar is pressed?thanks a lotMarc from Luxembourg

Hi there,My 747 has developed a problem whereby the captain's PFD and ND displays go blank shortly before the Top of Descent. At the same time the autopilot goes weird and starts commanding uncommanded turns and steep descents.I have tried reinstalling the 747 from scratch and applying the latest update (and deleted the FS9.cfg file).All suggestions gratefully received.Thanks,James

Hi!First i'd like to say that the 747-400 is amazing, only one problem,After take off i'm activating LNAV Everything runs good but after the first waypoint for some reason the plane starts to get off course.and it happend's at any place i'm flying.i also have the 737 and it never happend with it.please help me fix this out.Thanks!

At the moment, I am trying to simulate two failures on my PMDG 747 aircraft system. First I wonder if I could simulate "NO FLARE" or "NO ROLLOUT" during LAND2 or LAND3 autoland. I know how to fail autopilots but failing those autopilots did not result in the failures that I intended. And also can somebody tell me the difference between 'fail-passive' and 'fail-operational'? I thought LAND2 is fail-operational so tried to make a manual rudder input but the aircraft rejected my input. What does fail-operational mean exactly in the context of autoland? Secondly, can you tell me how I can simulate asymmetric movement of flaps? I mean.. different extraction of left and right …

I would be most grateful for some advice concerning the entry of winds into the 747 FMC.Page 58 of PMDG 12-FMC Users Guide-747 clearly states that you can enter wind data for your route of flight. It also says that each fix (waypoint) is given its own WIND page, which is accessed using the W> prompt for each associated fix in the RTE DATA pages.This is exactly as described in Bulfer and Gifford page 108.I presume that "using the W> prompt" means clicking on the LSK?R button abeam of the desired waypoint on the ACT RTE 1 DATA page. I've installed the new patch Ver1.1In the cockpit, I can hardly hear the ATC. I tried adjusting FS9 sound levels under settings but it doesn't appear to work. How can the sound be adjusted so that I can hear ATC or is this the way it is supposed to be?
