i was just reading some post through the search part on the forum and i came arcross this that pmdg have decided what there next product is after the md-11 but they said they cant tell us yet but that was a couple months ago and i was just wondering can you tells us yet?

Hi guys,I've been away for a while and just got back and realized the patch has been out for a while already, basically before i left i had a flight going and saved it, now i'm not sure if i should continue the flight and then intall version 1.10 or install the new version and continue my saved flight?Any advice on this?Also any steps to do before installing it or after, or is it as simple as installing to V1.10 and everything is fixed no need for a new saved cold and dark file anymore for example?Please I'm trying to read and catch up from the day the update was released but there is so much.......Thanks!

Have tried installing and reinstalling a couple times with/without patch and cannot get EFIS to display correctly. Not sure if it is just some setting I am missing or a bug, help appreciated!

Does anyone know if there is a file in FS9 that can be amended to allow for... 500ft ATC level changes up and down instead of the standard 1,000ft +/- options ..?I'm asking because this would be extremely helpful and real to life on any of my flights and especially on long-haul from the US to AUS.This would also allow me to maintain or as close to it... the Opt Flight Level as shown in the FMC, whilst maintaining IFR Cruising Level Degree Heading protocol... 0-180 +1,000 +500 / 181-359 -1,000 / -500Any help would be great...Thanks!Pablo Dominguez

Greetings to all fellow pilots,captains,simmers et.al.Being relatively new to payware aircraft I am still in awe. After finding Avsim and reading the forums I purchased the full PMDG series and I love it. Then I had to have the 747 which is also just finer than frog's hair.I asked an opinion about another plane and bought that one. It truly is a good thing too.My suggestion is that the experienced simmers on here put some reviews in the 'READER'S REVIEW FORUM' on here for rookies like me. Hi!I was in cruise at FL330 in LNAV/VNAV (latest version) and did some tests with the A/T.1) I switched the A/T button on the MCP off -> A/T disconnected as expected.2) I cycled the A/T button back to on -> I expected that the A/T to engage - but nothing.3) Pressing the VNAV button re-engages the A/T ! That's wrong.Another problem: It seems that the cruise altitude update on the PERF page doesn't work anymore (pressing the ALT button on the MCP)GreetingsWalter

Dear PMDG,since the recent Service Update 1.10 there is a small problem with the MCP lightning of the speed window. When the speed digits are blanked out by VNAV there remains a small black square which probably is a bitmap without transparency. Dear PMDG support,Does the autothrottle not work any more after the update to v1.10?This is what I did:- updated to queen v1.10 via downloaded installer and from intermediateupdate.- setup FMC for VTDB-WSSS @ FL250, all configuration complete and set in the same manner as before the update- activated route- activated FD- armed AT- activated LNAV- activated VNAV- do a takeoff- gear in- activate auto pilot by pressing "CMD"Expected:armed AT should become active to manage thrust following the presetspeeds of the LEGS page and/or VNAV climb/cruise/descent profile.actually observed:AT did not manage thrust neiter in CLB/CRZ/DES.In fact I was able to manually change thethrust …

Hi,Flying from the VC the DME readings are often huge values often in the order of (1,000NM). However, once I click the ND and the 2D ND appears the DME readings are reset to their correct values. Does anyone else experience this issue?Regards,Paul

Good day.After installing the 1.10 update, I appeared to encounter following problem:when I open zoom panel (either Captain's view or F/O view), the frame rate drops from my usual 29-30 down to 8-10. It does not depend on weather or scenario outside - I tested it in different conditions.I have good and steady FPS with all other 2D panels and in VC. And I neved had any FPS drops with zoom panel before installing the 1.10 update.I completely reinstalled the Queen from initial package, then installed the 1.10 update over it without installing the interim update - it does not help. Hello,I have a couple of issues, while not show-stoppers, have gotten the better of my curiosity: PROG page 2, I have never seen a value displayed for totalizer fuel (fuel quantity comparison, line 6), not even before engine start. Also, POS REF page 2, while the radios are definitely in autotune, and stations are being received, no stations are listed on line 5R, it only says nav sta. Any ideas?Tony William E.

OK, Now that everyone has flown the 747 for sevaral months, how good are your landings? I think I make a pefect landing 8 out of 10 times by now. The other 2 are just OK (a bit overshoot, a bit hard etc.) I need a few more months of flying before I think I'll book time in a 747-400 Level D (full motion) sim. Still digesting my 400 page manual.

I am having a bit of a problem with an otherwise excellentPMDG 737NG.Thwe aircraft itself loads okay along with the sounds, butwhen I switch to the spot plane view, the sound goes allfuzzy.The best way I can describe the sound is that it sounds likewaves crashing on the beach (I can upload a small clip ifanyone needs it to diagnose my problem).This only happens in the spot plane view and not in any otherview.I have done the following things:1. With the 744 on approach when locked into the localizer and then I press Approach button on autopilot to lock into glideslope once its engaged, which causes all three autopilot commands to light for autoland, the EICAS display shows that the thrust mode annuciation has gone from CRZ to G/A. Then when the plane is close to minimums the thrust increases dramatically as if it wants to perform a go around. I haven't pressed any of the TO/GA buttons to engage this. This doesn't seem right that the thrust mode should change to go around. What am I doing wrong? I can't really find an answer in the manual.Also my exterior sounds of the aircraft flying are muffled. Hi,I am flying from Europe to Asia with a stop at Dubai.During Leg 1 my GEN DRIVE 3 fails (pops). At Dubai on the ground I reset the Drive in the PMDG menu. However it keeps popping out again.I start Leg 2 without Gen3. On takeoff PACK 3 is off according the EICAS, but the switch is in Norm. A, or B select won't help.All failure modes are off! (I reset a few times)Seems like my Queen has a REAL life and has real failures... can't get rid of them. PMDG, do you have a mechanic simulation for the Queen?! Or did my service contract run out?!Or, when you're online, does the Queen download a mechanical status from the PMDG server (now that would be new in the FS community)!!But…

Just completed a long RT flight from KBOS to PHNL with the new 1.1 release. Luckily, also got the new TrackIR4 (been using TIR1 since it 1st came out several years ago) so the flight was a pleasure. Lost A/T briefly (A/T non-responsive to settings for some reason)when playing around with sim rate in the beginning, but managed to get it re-armed and running for the rest of the journey. Running on fumes at the end since there wasn't enough allowance made for winds aloft, but landed safely.The VC with the vector expansion is simply amazing--immersion factor is significantly improved with this upgrade.PMDG744 is just an amazing aircraft.
