How do I get my autobrakes to work using the CH Yoke with the PMDG 737-800? For some reason the switch on the yoke won't recognize the autobrake, even though it's recognized when using a FS9 default aircraft or the LDS 767. Help please.

Hi all.I got two big problems after 747 update.1. Take off climb rate is very very slow after engaging LNAV and VNAV at about 1000 feet.2. If I climb to cruizing altitude (i.e. FL300), after a few minutes speed slowely drops below set speed and engines don't kick in to catch up to set speed again. LNAV and VNAV are still active. Eventually speed drops until I get stall and nose pitches up like crazy and cant get her back down. Also get stick shake sound very very loud.Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong?This never happened before update.RegardsAnthony ReesCape Town (FACT)South Africa

I am a simmer since the the early days of the first FS and over the last two or three years have purchased a considerable number of payware add-ons. Only one of them was good, a few were OK and all others were crap, so generally I was not overly impressed and all the expensive planes are gathering dust in the hangar, with Aeroworx's King Air being the only exception. I have tried to install the batch and after doing so my machine crashes so I have looked over the full PMDG site and the support board for answers and did everything that was recommended. I have ininstalled the 747 deleted my fs9.cfg deleted my PMDG folder in the applications folder under my documents I even uninstalled my 737NG's and reinstalled them. Now I cant even run the 747-400 v1.02 and I am at my wits end. I do not know what more to do. If there is an asnwer out there I would like it please.Stephen Campbell

I don't want to be taken wrong here and with all due respect tothe whole PMDG team who have succeeded in bringing to us simmers aimmense complex addon for us to enjoy.....still I personally am missing(what I believe to be a basic part of the whole package)a tutorial.The learning curve on this aircraft is steep and for me being a bit older than most the curve gets even steeper and I need all the help I can get.Smitty's tutorial got me past take off and landing butI would really like to get a better understanding of everything in between.I know that a tutorial is being written (a tread suggested as much).Can I get some update maybe?Excuse my English (don't use it daily) and…

I don't get any panel lights in the 2D mode after turning on the battery. Anyone else having this problem? Is there something I'm not doing? The VC lights work fine.

Hi, :-) after the update i saw that the planeis goeing to the right side at taxing and on runway if you start.-> The right side engines on the GE and RR models had inverted fan animation... (duh) couldt it be it have something to do with that...?Didn`t install that "after" Update.Saw it by a GE Model that i used.Do i miss something here??My joysticks a configured right,have no probs with other planes.Any help....CheersMario G

I seem to remember a tutorial that was put out for the PMDG 747 that was written by a third party. I cannot locate it anymore. Does anyone know where it can be located?

Hi, Reloading a panelstate with APU Start Knob=1 doesn't set the APU on.Too bad because I like to save my flight at the end in the chocks with APU on. Reloading the same flight leaves me with a rather dark cockpit (APU switch is in off) and draining the battery.Is this because the APU needs to be reinitiated when loading a situation file of FS2004?anyone?regardsTeeloo

I just installed the update and now I can't control my fuel with the pulldown PMDG menu. When I put a small quantity, and then look at the EICAS fuel display, after a few seconds it goes from say 50.0 to 286,000 pounds. If I choose 1/3 fuel, it will hold for a second and then switch to full fuel. I'm selecting my fuel off the PMDG toolbar menu (not touching the MSFS fuel selector per the instructions) and clicking apply, then closing it. It worked fine for me before the update. Any suggestions?thanks,matt

Hi everyone,I did try to research my problem but could not find an answer so I'm wondering if anyone has had this problem before.I have just landing after flying from YSSY (Sydney) to KLAX (Los Angeles) and planned around 167,903KG of fuel. I landed with around 16,900. When taxing in I had number 2, and 3 engines die. (inboard engines). I restarted them ok but when I went to start the APU nothing happened. I had to load 1/3 fuel into it to get it to work. I am obvisouly missing something. Can someone please help me out?Thanks in advance.Sean.Melbourne Australia

Hello once again. After buying two PMDG products already.I think that I want to get the Beech 1900C. But I can trust it that it is good because I have the 1900D.But my big question is does anyone have either the Reality XP Jet Line 2 or the GPS530? I know that you can use both of them for this add-on. Do any of you use these on the 1900C? When I get the 1900C, I am not sure though if I want to get the Reality XP avionics. But what do you think about them?

PMDG,I emailed support with my purchase info for 747. I wanted to have the link re validated so I can download and install. I haven't heard anything yet and it's been 2 days???Please help...........Jason Maley

Was just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to assign one of my CH Yoke buttons to action the A/P DISC on PMDG 744. Have tried going to Assigments in MFS, and Keyboard Assigments in the PMDG options but no joy??????

I read above what to try to fix this problem, but my question is, why would it suddenly show up? I loaded the airplane just fine last night, nothing changed. Suddenly now I cannot select it from the menu? What is going on here?

Hello!!Being rather new with PMDG I read all necessary documents to make my self a PMDG pilot.Finally after many days I could make a journey with the 737 NGHowever a lot of problems:The aircraft does not listen to the planned descend which point was visible in the display. (D/C as far as I can recall)Although Cost Index is configured at 10 and LNAV and VNAV being activated, the climbrate exceeds 4000 ft/min and makes the aircraft stall and crash.When I configure some legs where I want to change speed and/or altitude, the capital characters remain big and I can't make them change into small onesToday I almost made it to the runway during approach. Greetings fellow Captains,I've got a question...usually, not always but usually when I am taking off in the 737-700, I don't lift off until I dunno...just short of 400 feet (estimated) of the runway...That's too close, I'm trying to figure out why it keeps doing that...my take off flaps are usually set to 5, I do spool the engines, but how much should I spool them up to? I'm thinking that may be my issue is that I don't spool them up long enough. One of these days I swear I'm going to be off the runway and I'll be upset at that.

I noticed that the fuel jettison amount selector is still not functional in the vc just the 2 D ,after the patch is this issue known to the PMDG team?kav

Hi PMDG - just a little thing but i still notice night time flicker on the main panel, which i think is related to Fix no.5) Updated main panel.cfg to remove night time flickering of the ND.It's seen when the panel is lit and zoomed in - there is some flicker in the vertical gap between the center top screws on either side of the navigation display. i can only run my display in a 1024x768 resolution but guess that it's just a panel.cfg adjustment needed.David

Hey guys i purchased the PMDG747 in August and its nice to see a service pack, i'm having one problem though i recently reformatted Windows, so basically my registry was deleted well Windows on the whole and was reinstalled but all of my programs,files etc were left intact. My main problem is whatever the PMDG747 installs in the registry just isn't there anymore so the patch installer doesn't think i have the PMDG installed.. well can't find it..If possible can someone direct me to what i need to add to the registry to make the installer recognise the PMDG in my FS9 folder or should i just send a email to support and get a new download link and reinstall.. I have, after installing the update, attempted to also update the navdata files, but still am receiving a "not in data base" msg. I have tried twice, with the download from PMDG and Navadata and still getting message. Any suggestions?
