I say this because looking at all the past releases, I had to add some humor (you know, Ha Ha made you look joke) here because I'm anxiously awaiting the Cargo Version of the 744. With Randy and Ryan as beta testers (me and Randy have patched things up now) I know this is going to be another awesome release and I'm really looking forward to it. Keep up the great work PMDG... :-beerchug The screenshots are wonderful teasers so I thought I'd tease back... :-)

Hi PMDG. Well your 737 is aging IMO. I think it's about 2 or 3 years old now. There has been talk about you maybe working on an update for the 737. Is this true or do you plan on just focusing your work on the 747F and MD-11. I am looking forward to you MD-11 a lot. Do you have any news on the MD-11. Do you have any estimates on a prssible release date. What quarter of next year would you think she would be done? Well I hope you can answer a few of these questions.Jared

I just bought the queen of skies a few days ago. And on the first flight i saw that while i taxied to the runway and i made a turn the nose wheel did not move.This is strange i can go left and right but the nose wheel is not moving

hiin 737NG, when the CWS is engaged the elevator autotrim works perfectly, i have a sidewinder precision 2 and i use the CWS during long final until touchdown, it's very usefull to adjust the rate of decent and to make a kiss landing. does the autotrim work on pmdg 747-400 ?

I noticed there was one for the 747, does anyone have a link for the audio checklist for the PMDG 737 series?Thanksash

I've been trying to change my Barometric switch from IN to HPA; however the switch will not rotate to achieve this. There must be some 'trick of the trade'. Any help would be appreciated. Believe it or not, this is the only fault that I can find; and I have tried :)KenSomerset, England

PANC. I've got a Panc file in the right folder-populated with data! but it is apparantly not parsed by the FMC- made it hard to fly in last night :)I see no runways, no approaches or DP/STARS in both the Queen and the NG, either departing or arriving. Comparing it to other airport files, it looks fine- teh format is the same as airports that I know work.I get an error on importing an FSBuild flightplan- that the runway is unknown.Any ideas? I do have AIRAC 513 installed per the ident page.Thanks!Tim

Hi,RE: PMDG 747-400 FMCIs it possible to use the SID/STAR Database in FSBuild with the FMC? In the FMC, many SID/STARs are not there for many airports (reasonable seeing as how if it were complete, the price would be much too high I would assume?). FSBuild has a great SID/STAR database and so would it be possible to somehow use the SID/STARs from FSBuild in the FMC? If so, how?Thanks,John

Gents,I must confess that up until recently I was interested in getting the freighter only in order to upgrade my 744 pax flight deck with all the new features. However, being open-minded I've recently decided that when I buy the 400F I will actually spend some time on the Flying Tigers Group VA cargo routes.So, my question is this: What scenery addons are available out there that enhance the Cargo areas of major airports around the world?Many (not all) of the FS default airports have decidedly average representations of the cargo areas, has anyone found any scenery that would correct this? If not maybe I'll look into doing some work on this...

I am posting to say that I have once again read the FSUIPC instructions on how to get GoFlight modules (such as the P8 and T8, etc.) to work with add-ons such as the PMDG NG and Queen, and I am as baffled and perplexed as ever. I simply don't understand where to begin with key presses or what key combinations to use. And that's just the tip of the iceberg too!I finally managed to program the GF-MCP for the LDS 767 OK but that's because GoFlight now has menus for such an aircraft. But that's it; the rest is do-it-yourself key presses inside FSUIPC and it's just incomprehensible.Is there anybody out there who can tell me exactly how you can get any of the GF modules such…

Hello. I have FS9 installed on my computer and it was getting kinda slow from everything being loaded with XP Pro so I decided to Dual Boot XP and 2000 Pro. So I did all that and installed FS2004 and then my Carenado Planes and then finally the PMDG 737NG (v. 1.3) & 737-800/900 Expansion Pack. I then rebooted after installing the Service Update and Model Update and then started FS9 and I got this error:"Flight Simulator was unable to load somre aircraft or software. You can continue using Flight Simulator but this aircraft or software will be disabled.File: PMDGOptions.DLL."So I continue and try to load the aircraft anyway and I get another simmilar error message abou…

Very happy with the 747 overall, however have been encounteringtwo minor problems.First is I'll be flying at cruising level at the relevant speedwith autopilot on LNAV/VNAV. Suddenly Active Sky 6 will do a weatherupdate and the aircraft speed drops considerably (say from 290 to240 KIAS) triggering the stick shaker warning sound. At this pointI have to engage the Thrust or Level Change buttons to try and regainthe original spped.Second on quite a few instances after take off and engaging LNAV/VNAV and on thrust reference, the aircraft after reaching FL290 or so will again begin to loose speed and the stick shaker warning sounds. Hi,It's very immersive flying the Queen from the Virtual Cockpit but with scenery and weather it gets a little choppy to say the least. I've noticed the VC Gauge FPS update rate selector and my question is, would it be possible to tune specific displays and would it increase performance?For example, the PFD is probably the most important display and hence it would be nice to have that running at high FPS. However the FMC update rate could be extremely low, same goes for the lower EICAS etcWould such tuning increase both the smoothness of the overall simulation and certain gauges at the expense of others?Cheers,Paul

I just got the PMDG 747 cd. It is great! A+ The only thing I found is when at cruize alt. I suddenly get a drop of airspeed of 30-40 knts and right or left yaw of 10-10 degrees. Also if I use X4 rate it happens. Is it because of "real time weather" selected in FS2004? Also sometimes when I am in fullscreen mode I hit the alt key to go to the menue or F( for FSNAV, when I return to the acft the AP disengages but comes back on.

I just bought the 737ng on Tuesday (both 600/700 and 800/900) and I am glad to say I love it. I found a nice tutorial on AVSIM which is helping me a lot. My problem started yesterday and it's pretty much gotten worse. Sometimes when I try to enable Autothrottle, it flicks on for a second, goes off, and flashes a light in the center of the panel that says "AT P/RST" pink. I cannot enable the autothrottle for TO/GA. It used to happen on about half of flights and restarting FS fixed it. However, I've not tried to enable it five times in a row (with restarting) and it still didn't work.

Hi, thought i'd ask around here since there are a number of pros around :-)Today during a lesson on airframes, systems and powerplants we were going over hydraulic systems. For the life of me, I can't visualize how an engine driven pump (constant pressure/variable volume type) works. Does anyone know of any animations of such a pump. I'm currently looking at a 2D image, I just can't figure out how it worksThanks

Hello 737 Crews,again I come to this forum with a question, I was not able to find an answer to.Sometimes, during my descent I get a message from my FMC "step descent after YXY (any waypoint)". In this situation, I do not know what the aircraft ( 737 ) "wants me to do", or was was going wrong in the descentperiod before.Maybe someone of you can advise me in this point.Many thanks !

Hello Captains!hoping to start up a thread of pilots posting their favourite flights or their own flight plans for use with the Queen. My flight was taken from a real world flight and also is a close to the ITVV Virgin Atlantic DVD EGLL-KSFO as i have seen so far. This flight took me 11 hours 10mins with a mixture of some nasty headwinds and some generous tail winds closer to KSFO. I love the Virgin livery and this flight tests your stamina! Just had a thought as I was flying...How about an auto Tank to Engine feature, for when you leave to pop to the shops! Similar to the pause at T/D.CheersJoe
